Best vegan hot chicken in Nashville! I usually order a chicken sandwich and hot chicken strips on the side. I will say say it's VERY spicy, so if you're not into that get it plain. Their ranch and pastries are really good too.

The vegan comfort food here is so good! The staff are very attentive and helpful. It is cashless establishment so you must use the tablets to order or order online. The meal I had today was the meetloaf, green beans, potato casserole, and a fruit smoothie. I enjoyed all of it. Last time I I came, I had the hot chick'n sandwich (spicy!), Mac and cheeze, fruit smoothie, and a brownie. I enjoyed that meal too, however I didn't care for the Mac and cheeze (I'm lactose intolerant so I don't usually eat Mac & cheese in general) and dry brownie. Other than that, I would highly recommend this place for vegan southern food!

Impeccable establishment. Delicious options. High quality products. Genuine staff. What more could you ask for? My mom has switched to the vegan lifestyle and has came on over to Nashville for a visit. I am so grateful I was recommended this place by my coworker - we absolutely LOVED it! While I may not be vegan, it didn't even taste much different! I was mind blown how incredible our meal was! My hot chick'n sandwich changed my life! It was absolutely delicious and anyone who is vegetarian/vegan/staying away from eat and coming in to visit (you don't even need to be vegetarian/vegan) you have options to try a famous Nashville staple! What true southern comfort food - but vegan!The lemonade is a MUST! BEST LEMONADE I HAVE EVER HAD. You could taste how fresh the lemons are and the pure cane sugar is to die for, I am so forever pleased I got to experience this. The Mac and cheeze- WOW. We have had non-dairy cheeses before and this was our FAVORITE and best tasting. For being so close to downtown I appreciated finding parking easily - when you walk in you have a tablet you can order on or there's a QR code on his table you can order from. Carry out friendly. I ordered Ubereats from here on a Friday evening, but unfortunately wasn't able to get all the items I ordered. Maybe they ran out. I wanted to try the fried chicken, but they instead gave me extra barbecue chicken. The Mac and cheese was really delicious though. I would try them again if I was in the area.

The one place I could try Nashville hot Chik'n. Yes it's hot! Buffalo sauce on fire. Really great pickles on homemade white bread. Also tried the Mac and cheese. Good flavor, great creaminess seasoning perfect. The coleslaw was my favorite. Also tried baked beans and turnip greens, and lastly the cornbread. I usually don't like crumbly cornbread, but the flavor was so good, I had to go back in for more. Portion size perfect, I had lots of leftovers, not coming home with me. I'm full and satisfied.They pride themselves on contactless transactions, no exchange of cash. Everything is done, touchscreens and credit/debit cards. This was a new concept to me but I approve.

MY FOOD WAS EXCELLENT ! I just moved here from across the country and I was CRAVING some vegan soul food !! I am SO GLAD I found this place. The service was amazing. I got my food in about 15 minutes. The ambiance is casual and warm. I love it ! I definitely plan to come back soon

The Southern V is unmatched. Their menu is soul food-centric but also offers a variety of burgers/sandwiches and good breakfast options! My favorite menu item is the vegan meatloaf. My goodness... chef's kiss! I only wish they were open more days in the week. They are only open Thursday- Sunday and close early in the afternoon.

I came here today after church service and order the hot chicken salad. I've tried vegan food before but this was my first time going to a vegan soul food restaurant.It was my first time trying seitan and they made it very flavorful. A couple of people from our table ordered the nachos which looked really good, I would probably try that next. It's self service where you order from the kiosk and then wait for your name to be called when your order is ready. Parking is limited in this area but there's street parking near the restaurant.

If you go make sure you bring your own condiment's. It seems like they think that adding condiments is sin. cause they won't give it to you.
