Whether is special occasion or casual dinner with friends this is the place! Personally, I think it's the best of all of Chef Joey's restaurants. I do not eat meat or in general a big bowl of pasta, but I am such a big fan of the eggplant meat balls and polenta as well as the appetizers and cannolis that I leave feeling 100% satisfied I of course, had to try the pasta which was cooked to perfection, including gnocchi. Presentation is incredible and service is attentive. What more could you want, aside from a more convenient location to other things? Just make this your destination and call it an evening... but don't forget the cannolis!Already ready to return for another crave worthy cannoli and to sample the other pastries!

First time here and came with family. Our server was friendly and helpful. Here's what we ordered Garlic cheese bread: 8/10 pretty pricey and small portion (good for 2/3 people) Wedge salad: 6/10 more like an appetizer. Very small portion. Dressing and toppings were good though. Pasta with meatballs: 6/10 the steak meatballs were a little toughPasta with arabiatta sauce and sausage meatballs: 8/10 crowd favorite. Sausage meatballs were a little dense but not lacking in flavor. Steak with chimichurri: 8/10 portion a little small for the price Chicken Parmesan: 9/10 WINNING dish. Two people in or party ordered it and said it was delicious. Would have been 10/10 if the pasta portion was bigger Overall, nice cute place. Prices are on the higher end. However, the pasta and meatballs dish is priced well. The pasta is portioned perfectly.

I have heard people rave about this place. Unfortunately, the overall experience fell flat for me today. I'll get the good out of the way. It's a cute restaurant with a great outdoor space. We sat at the bar because we didn't have a reservation. I thought that was a great sign for a great meal ahead. We were one of two parties at the bar, and yet our bartender was very slow to follow up with us. No doubt because he was making every drink in the house. I ordered the meatball sandwich. It presented nicely but was a bit awkward to eat on a pizza crust. It was under-sauced and came out like warm. The fries also tasted like they had been sitting.I can see the potential for great food, but today was not the day.

Tried out the Sicilian Butcher for a nice date night this weekend and had a great time trying new dishes and feeling like I stepped back into Italy for a minute! The service was great and the server made great recommendations. We also hit the bakery after we finished eating and paid and had an amazing cannoli that isn't pictured here! The Fazzoletti was my favorite dish and one of the more unique Italian dishes I've had. They used handkerchief pasta and stuffed it with ricotta, mozz and ragu. The parm cream that the stuffed pasta was in wasn't too heavy and complimented the dish perfectly. I really enjoyed the Tomaso's meatballs over pasta but wish we could've tripled the amount of parm on top of the pasta! This was a great date night stop and I highly recommend trying the restaurant and cafe.

This place is amazing; every time I come to Phoenix, this is a stop I must make. I always leave satisfied with this place. I came with the family, and we got this nice booth. Great customer service, and the tiramisu is one of the best in Arizona I have ever tried.

I have been anxiously awaiting a visit to The Sicilian Butcher after seeing them online. We went in the side door thinking it was the front. Kind of hard to see from the parking lot. We were seated near the bar, but weren't bothered by the traffic. The decor was old style with a warehouse look. The restaurant is very large and very busy. Make a reservation! Our server acknowledged us right away. His name was Jesus. He was very kind and helped with all our questions. The food was delicious for sure! We happened to be there when one of the managers slipped on a wet floor. Her name was Melissa and she assured us she was ok. She is pregnant and we were very concerned for her well being. She was assisted right away and assured us she was ok! Even sent us home with delicious cheesecake. Thank you for a wonderful evening Jesus and Melissa! We will be back.

I had high hopes for The Sicilian Butcher with all the amazing reviews, but the food really fell flat for me. We ordered the bruschetta board, and the bread was mostly chewy, barely crunchy and crispy. The toppings sounded great on the menu but were ultimately underwhelming and something I could very easily make at home. I was excited about the different meatballs and ordered the Sicilian meatballs which sounded intriguing with their incorporation of pine nuts and raisins, but it also ended up being very underwhelming and bland. I got my pasta with the vodka sauce (I love Vodka sauce) and mafalde pasta noodles. It was overall undersalted and underseasoned, so it tasted better when I added my own salt and pepper. Honestly, I like the jarred Rao's Vodka sauce better. The service and atmosphere were great, but the food itself was disappointing. I wish I could offer a better review!

We tried the Sicilian butcher in Peoria and decided to give the phoenix location a try. The interior is beautiful and it comes with a dining area as well as a pastry area for desserts. My family and I tried the bruschetta that came with tomato basil and garlic, another one with ricotta prosciutto honey and hazelnut, another one with fresh mozzarella basil tomato and e.v.o.o and the last one with burrata prosciutto and tomato jam. All were great but the fresh mozzarella stole the show. We also tried the meatball that came with 6 different meatballs with different flavors. It was an experience I want to try again. Our server explained each one but we were so hungry we attached the food so fast and ate it all so quick. Next door had a pastry and coffee shop. I got the vanilla iced coffee which I enjoyed drinking. I'll be back for the desserts.
