The Sandwich Odyssey

We stopped in for lunch. My husband got the French dip and I got a Philly cheese. However my husband didn't like the sauce on the French dip, maybe aoli on it? So I traded sandwiches and I liked the French dip better anyways and pretty sure it was aoli and not horseradish. I liked it and ate half and saved half for later. Service was friendly. Definitely worth a stop in if you want a sandwich.

This place was legit! Had the wrap and I thoroughly enjoyed it. If I lived in Bellingham I would visit this place often. Small joint but great service.

Great lunch spot in downtown Bellingham! Selection of sandwiches includes all your staples and then a slew of hot sandwich choices and daily specials. I went with the Philly Stack, buddy went with the Chicken stack. Neither of us were disappointed. What really made the sandwich, like all great delis, was their bread . Perfectly toasted, crunchy crust and soft underneath. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying the rest of their menu. Sandwiches aren't huge, so definitely grab a side!

This was our first meal (lunch) on a road trip up to Canada and you know how you want your first meal to be good to set you off on the right foot (or wheel, if you will); and it was. We drove special through Bellingham to get here (the city was not on our stopping list) and were not disappointed. Loved the small beach shack vibe. Sandwiches were delish. I also got the bean soup which was savory. We both ate everything down to the crumbs even though we were full by halfway. Recommend!

I am so excited that they are open on Saturdays. Everything is always amazing and fresh. I could eat here everyday.

I honestly wanted to love this place but the bread was tough and the sandwich was all over the place I did appreciate the gal giving my dog a treat but honestly I don't know what the hype is I'm bummed I love supporting local but subway does better but I love and u know supporting local but was not will not be my go too bummer cause I'm so close

Hot Pastrami!!! Everything rocks, but give me that Hot Pastrami. Checkout the specials, the baked goods and the wonderful team... then order the Hot Pastrami!!!!

I have heard of The Sandwich Odyssey for years, but never been here. I decided to change that today.I ordered a the Italian and it did not disappoint. Exceptionally great tasting meats and cheeses. And dripping with dressing, just as I requested. Incredibly quick friendly service.It probably deserves 5 stars considering it is located in Bellingham. However, I've lived in New England and it is hard to beat the sandwiches they create there. This a great little sandwich shop and I will return to try other items.

Ok so, I had the Italian Deluxe, heated, and dang of it wasn't like a Schlotzkys original without olives. Bread was amazing and blistered which means great baked bread, veg was fresh, and meat was yum. Really great place. Easy to order, places to sit, though parking I think could get precarious. Otherwise, we will totally be back, and clam chowder was also on point!

We order the tray of the spinach wrap sandwiches for 20-30 people and was very satisfied with the quality of the ingredients, the variety and portions--nice presentation and stayed fresh for a 3-hour lunch gathering. Pick up was spot on.
