Upon first walking up the restaurant, it is very clean and new. Loved the Roman soldiers outside the entrance!Once we walked in, the feel was really unique with different tile on the floor and the walls and open kitchen (love!). Black, red and gold came together beautifully for the aesthetic but a little edgy as well with the graffiti too. After being sat, our server was very kind, took our drink orders and brought them over quite quickly. We both loved our choices: like a hurricane and frutteto old fashioned. The ice in my husband's old fashioned was incredibly clear (nice touch!).Shortly after our drinks arrived, we ordered focaccia bruschetta and it was probably my favorite thing I had that evening. We loved it so much we didn't even get a picture! the bread was soft and light with great crunch created from the char, creamy and smooth stracciatella cheese, the julienned salame was a bit clumsy to eat but absolutely delicious and drizzled in hot honey. Absolute chefs kiss Our main meals had MONSTROUS portions and came out piping hot (steam was visible). He ordered seafood cioppino and I had the creamy rigatoni. My husband was highly impressed with the amount of massive shrimp he found within his pasta and enjoyed the refreshing flavors of lemon within wine reduction. The creamy rigatoni was massive and still can't believe how much chicken I had within my dish. My first reaction to the taste was that it was a little bland. I added a bit of salt and pepper and then it was amazing! I would suggest adding more salt and maybe a fun texture as well to round out the dish.Rounding out our meal, we ordered the house white and red as well as the Willy Wonka cake. Both wines were fantastic! Well balanced and not too sweet. The cake was luxurious and light. First dropping my spoon in for a slice, it dropped so nicely and then towards the bottom hit the denser mouse and cake were heavenly! We don't normally go for cake as a dessert but we were highly impressed!GO TO ROSTICCERIA! Great service, excellent food and drinks in a sleek urban atmosphere.

Not a happy camper. Drove to The Mexicano, one of my FAVE places, which is 35min from me, unfortunately it was closed from a kitchen fire. Devastating. But There was a sign on the door that said go to their other restaurant, The Rostocceria, and enjoy a 1 cent Margarita for the trouble. So we looked up the menu on Yelp and decided to drive over there and try it. Upon ordering the online menu was completely Different? Everything I wanted to order wasn't there? No Baby Artichokes, no Chicken Frances, etc. AND they WOULD NOT HONOR THEIR OWN SIGN! No 1 cent margarita!! Huh?I ended up getting the lemon prawns. $30 for this tiny portion

Very nice service at the bar. The food is very rich and most dishes are olive oil dense food. The pizza is a fry bread like crust, but very heavy pizza nonetheless - the pizza is the opposite of light and fluffy . Unique menu and very lively and loud ambience.. Not my cup of tea, but I can see why some people like this place. I would not recommend this restaurant with friends or a date, but maybe alone it would be great.

Wonderful, wonderful! First, the manager, Luis, was so hospitable and welcoming! You could see him walking around, working and checking on tables, etc. Our waitress was also wonderful and attentive. We had a Sunday lunch here and ordered all items to share! The chicken parm sandwich was probably my favorite! We were even given a little sample of their chocolate gelato and it was scrumptious! We will definitely leave room for dessert next time! Also, we had their margarita! The margarita was fresh and delish! You could taste the fresh limes! The restaurant is decorated beautifully! If you're familiar with the Chef's other restaurants (Sicilian Butcher or The Mexicano,) you already know how he does it! He's done a great job here, too! We'll definitely return!

The first thing to note here is the interesting atmosphere. You're greeted by two Roman soldier statues at the front door, and when you come in the decor just builds on that. There are large murals on the walls, Roman helmets on poles as dividers, and a little Italian truck that holds toppings for a gelato milkshake bar. There is a dj booth near the bar--not sure when they use it.We started with cocktails. I ordered a sweet cola cocktail which came in a faux soda can. Kind of cool! We received a bowl of Italian crackers to munch on while we waited for our food. I ordered the fillet medallions with corn caccio e Pepe, and potatoes. It was delicious--a 10 out of 10! And especially for the price! Hubby ordered the pappardelle with sausage ragu, also delish. We really liked the food here. Make no mistake, this is not a lady and the tramp romantic Italian restaurant. But that's okay, because it's a very loud, bright, fun, Italian restaurant with lots of families. Not our typical date night place, but we did enjoy our dinner.

Visited Rosticceria for restaurant week and can honestly say this is one of the best restaurant week price fixe deals in the valley. $33 pp for a 3 course meal that was really a four course meal. I'll explain. I started with the Zeppole app with prosciutto. Loved it. Savory, bready goodness and just a little bit of prosciutto on the top of each bite made it delectable. Great shareable starter. Then the Italian wedge with bleu. I love a simple wedge salad and this one added beets and other non-standard accoutrements. But they were delicious and instead of bacon, the salad is topped with crispy prosciutto. Really liked it!Next my entree selection, the Porchetteria. In all my days, I've never had pork served this way and now I know what I've been missing :). Much to my surprise, this dish is served with its skin on and it's a salty, (very) crispy addition to the tender meat it's attached to. Big time crunch. At first I wasn't sure what was going on as the menu doesn't say anything about the pig skin. I mean, let's face it you don't expect skin on your pork chop any more than you do on your filet mignon, right? Regardless, once I figured out what the deal was, I cut little portions of the thick, crispy, salty skin to go with each bite of meat, and I ended up really liking it and, bonus, it even comes with pasta! I highly recommend this for the adventurous diner! Then, to complete the evening, the self serve gelato bar is included with the restaurant week special. Cool concept! Basically an attendant gives you a big metal cup of gelato then you add all your favorite toppings. Bonus!!!! They will put some booze in there for you if you want! I added Rumchata and it was an awesome way to end our meal! So, really 4 courses for $33. Seriously a smoking restaurant week deal y'all. You can't get this much high quality food anywhere at even close to that price. The place was totally slammed and very loud while we were there so I was glad we had reservations. I will check their lunch out soon.

On our first night in the Valley and we chose The Rosticceria to have an early dinner. Service was excellent and even though we ordered from the Happy Hour Menu getting an Antipasto Chopped Salad and Rigatoni with Vodka Sauce, it was plenty of food to enjoy and share. Our salad and pasta choices were delicious and paired well a glass of wine and a cold bottle of Peroni. The atmosphere was nice with a large bar area on one side and more casual dining on the other. Give this establishment try, you'll enjoy it.

ROSTICCERIAChef Joey, Chris, Patricia, what a team! Although I didn't get to meet Chef and my interaction with Patricia and Chris was the best! My husband got the Porchetta sandwich. I got the eggplant Parmesan with a side of Porchetta. It was fabulous. We really enjoyed the personality of those two and we really liked the fun decor. Great little milkshake truck they even had milkshake of the month, which was vanilla caramel you can even add bourbon to it, lol. We had a great time, we will be back. And thank you so much for the Italian Gornet and the lemon cello.I WOULD RECOMMEND
