Yes, Roger bought the place and cleaned it up, now he's getting ollllld and Edna (a caterer) is taking over. She started by requiring measured pours and firing the senior bartender. The karaoke co. and other bartenders/friends have quit in solidarity. Spent many hours and dollars here over the years, but all good things must come to an end, eh?

Semi dive, but still fun in beautiful downtown Issaquah, only about two blocks from the Issaquah Ginormous Troll. Good food, reasonable prices, I love the log cabin type decor. I was there on Karaoke night and it was awesome, definitely go check it out next time you're there in Issaquah

Great dive bar in the heart of downtown Issaquah. Great service as long as you know the rules (you must order your drinks and food at the end of the bar). Sean is always an awesome host. Food is fine and value priced. Music is generally great playing from the sound system, from which you can select your favorites. Locals and regulars are always welcoming. Live music on Friday nights at 9pm.

LOVE this place! Came here for the first time last Saturday. Bartender Amy, and the security guard made this place our new local spot for us. We just moved to the area and the vibe is just amazing at Rolling Log. Wednesday's and Saturday for karaoke, and Live music Friday's. The crowd was welcoming as well. Haven't tried the food yet, but we will the next time we visit!

I don't know about you, but when I think of Issaquah I think of little boutiques, small trendy restaurants, big houses, and a general feel of upper middle class suburbia. I don't think of dive bars. Well, the Rollin' Log proved me wrong. Tucked away on a side street off of Issaquah main drag, the log appears to be sheltered in a building that was built at least a hundred years ago. But probably even longer than that. The walls are made of ancient timbers. The decor has changed very little in probably four or five decades. There are a couple of pool tables to give the place atmosphere, a small stage where live music happens, a full bar, and of course several beers on tap. From PBR on up to local craft beer favs. The small kitchen turns out pub food, like quesadillas and fries, and the last time I was there they were even offering prime rib as a nightly special. The Log is a fun place to meet an old friend when you find yourself in the area and want to do something different. Or just hide from the outside world for a couple of hours.

Been going to this place forever now. Staff is awesome, beer selection is decent and prices are great. This is a nice spot to catch some local sports in a chill environment or you can head there for Karaoke nights on Wednesday's and Saturday's if you want a bit more commotion. Definitely a nice spot if you want a quick game of pool or shuffleboard too!

Rolling Log is a definite must try for all those looking for a guaranteed good time! I was looking for a perfect place to take some out of town friends for my birthday. I haven't lived in Issaquah long and don't go out often. My friends and I were all very impressed with the upbeat vibe. Enjoyed their full kitchen and friendly service. We also played pool and shuffleboard. We went for music and a little bit of dancing on a Friday night. We are already planning our next trip for karaoke on a Saturday night.

Went in on wed night and all I can say is damn. No michelle doing karaoke, none of the regulars, different bartender, and horrible atmosphere. What happened to comfy dive bar? Sad such a monumental watering hole is becoming something other than it is. The log has a long history of being a dive bar that no matter what cosmetic changes are done, it won't last. Sad that a piece of history is going down in flames

Great Staff, good prices and fun atmosphere. I really with the owners would upgrade their Point of Sale system so we didn't have to leave our credit cards. I think this is the only spot in Issaquah that still keeps your card. It's frustrating.

Drinks expensive AND then overcharged. My cc receipt showed what I paid, including tip, but when I got my cc bill they had added $6 onto it even though I had given a generous tip. Not going back.
