The Rock

I've been to just about every place on Melrose except The Rock, and I see what I was missing! This is a real cute dive. Something about the generous neon lighting inside will make you feel like a tough guy, but in reality folks are gathering to either watch drag or sing karaoke. Both are fun to watch! Service is fantastic and my bartender was exceptionally nice. If my friends bring me out here again, I won't complain!

Karaoke, jukebox and long pours what more can you ask for? This is a nice size space with indoor and outdoor seating! The drinks are strong and the boys are plentiful lol.

As an Artistic Director for a NY based company I had to come out and support the local scene and let me say this....I was NOT disappointed. The whole production was on point from the hostess of the evening down to the talent. The drinks were strong and I brought two Drag Show virgins with me who left as fans. Homerun. This will now be my favorite watering hole in Phoenix when I visit my brother.

I suppose it's great for gays, but non binary and trans are only tolerated by clientele. Good prices and friendly staff.

What a great local LGBTQIA bar! Not only do they have an amazing happy hour the bartenders especially Dom are the best ever! Friendly space for all to come.

During my stay in Central Phoenix, I wanted to visit as many gay bars as I could. I really liked that this bar was on the same street as other bars. I made a quick stop here for a couple of Angry Orchards. While I was there, it was fairly quiet with people inside and on the patio. It was also nice that there was a pretty good amount of parking. This place is within walking distance to Filibertos Mexican Food just incase you need some carbs after the bar. For a chill vibe, I am glad I was able to visit during my stay.

The bartender has no knowledge in mixing. Far too much alcohol. Every single drink has tastes like NOTHING but jet fuel and it was disgusting. I am very disappointed in the bar and their bartender.
