The Regal Seagull

Love a good sausage party, and the Regal Seagull did not disappoint!If I lived up here, I'd be here a lot more.It's like the Regal Beagle further south, but instead, it's in North County. GREAT craft beer selection. Meat-filled menu perfect for the keto-carnivore types, and at least one faux-meat sausage for those of you who don't roll that way. Staff is friendly and fast. When your food is ready you'll hear loud and clear over the speaker.Similar to the Beagle, plenty of indoor seating, but I believe the Seagull may win when it comes to outdoor options. Its location lends itself a bit better to people watching and walking from spot to spot, too.

Awesome selection of craft beers, local and beyond! We stopped here after lunch so didn't get to try their sausage or hot dogs but love that they have a condiment bar with udders!Seating outside in the front along with a random back courtyard that's shared with other businesses. I will begrudgingly call it the Seagull although I keep thinking of the Regal Beagle from Three's Company.

TRUST THOSE WHO YELP REGULARLY...My first review of Regal Seagull was in 2015. Not only have they kept my 5-Star rating, but this has become my favorite LOCALS bar hands down.Staff is great, food is well-above "pub fare," and prices are reasonable. Ambiance, location, and vibe can't be beat anywhere.I recommend The Seagull to all locals... but don't tell anyone else. Shhhh... its our gild mine secret.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I sure do love me a classic neighborhood dive! And Regal Seagull definitely hits the mark here. The beachy, grimy-in-a-charming-way decor and abundance of tv screens to watch whatever sporting events are on give a really home-y feel (is that too much to say a bar feels home-y?). Their ordering system is pretty fun too, you get a ticket with a humorous name like Edna Krabappel from the Simpsons that they obnoxiously/endearingly call out when your order is ready. I would say I'm somewhat of a regular here as far as happy hour drinks and yummy appetizers like the mac-n-cheese bites and mini corn dogs, but I just tried their burger the other night and was quite surprised at the quality. Honestly a great burger for the price, I just wish fries on the side weren't an upcharge as I'm not a big chip gal. I definitely need to try their famous sausages next time I go for dinner. There's something for everyone as far as drink selection and a of of local breweries are featured, and while I love beer I usually try whatever cider is on the board because they've all tasted great - the most recent one I tried had a nice tangerine palette. The bartenders/staff are pretty friendly for the most part, and the few that are a bit more short, eh I'll give them the benefit of the doubt because they work at a bar and probably deal with some annoying locals (sorry Leucadians I still love you) all day lol. Anyways, if you're in the area and looking for a fun spot for some refreshing libations and tasty bar food, this is your sign!

The best tots, sauce bar and staff (shout out to Andre!) off the 101. Cool locals only vibe and great mix of people. Dollar Wing Wednesday is definitely worth a stop. By the way...did I mention the tots?? Super crispy even for take out, and the Cajun sauce to match, yummmm.It made my night seeing a bar patron buy the kitchen staff a round of drinks...yeah it's that kind of place;) Keep it up!

Such a great part of our community!! Amazing food as the beer selection CANNOT BE BEAT!! We go there because Patrick is the most amazing host! A real stalwart of knowledge and service. Try any of the food. Sausages and Brats are so good. Start with cheese curds and a favorite beer an, WOW! God bless you Tim. You are blessed with such a great place, staff and food. So it's a spin on the Regal Beagle from Threes Company.. it's a fun bar atmosphere. They are known for the sausages.We ordered a sampler plate with the chicken sausage and Mediterranean sausage and chips.It was really good and the chips are on point!!! Not a lot of GF options with drinks. Staff was really nice and TV's to watch sports. There is an out front area and our back (we didn't check that out). Overall good experience. Give it a try

SALT SALT SALT. There was no salt on the chips or tater tots, which is a downright crime to potatoes. You literally cannot oversalt potatoes, just do it when it's hot. Instead, there was quite literally zero. It turned what would have been 9/10 chips and tots to 3/10 chips and tots. The kielbasa was insanely good, and the bratwurst and sauerkraut are to die for. Service is good, vibe is great, history is great, but by GOD you MUST salt things.
