Came here with my wife and daughter for an early Sunday dinner. We had a hard time finding it at first because there was no sign outside. This is all part of the experience of the place, though. Once we found it, we went downstairs to find a dark tinted door with newspapers covering the adjacent windows. Again, no sign. When I opened the door, I was pleasantly surprised by all the red seating, dim red lights, and the overall vibe of the place. They were also playing some great 70's, 80's, and 90's hits, which was outstanding. The buttery, crispy on the outside bread and olive oil with olives, etc, was amazing. I got the Capeletti Al Ragu, consisting of perfect little "dumplings" with short rib and big slices of black truffle on top. It was insanely delicious and perfectly balanced. My wife and daughter got the rigatoni alla vodka and it was disappointing. - Just not flavorful. Pasta was cooked perfectly, though. Service was attentive and helpful. This place is a must try and must see

I recently visited The Red Fox in Boston's North End, and it lived up to its reputation in many ways. The service was fantastic--attentive without being overbearing, and the staff made us feel welcomed from the moment we stepped inside. As for the food, the cappelletti was simply unbelievable. The pasta was perfectly cooked, and the ragu filling had just the right amount of richness and depth. On the other hand, the carbonara was enjoyable but could have used more bacon to elevate the flavor. Still, it was a solid dish with creamy textures. My only real critique was that the portion sizes felt a bit small for the price, but the quality of the ingredients made up for it.One minor issue was the lighting. While it contributed to the restaurant's cozy, vintage vibe, it was a little too dim, making it difficult to fully appreciate the presentation of the dishes. That aside, it was a great experience.

This place is hard to find -- which is part of it's appeal. It was pretty packed on a Monday night so make sure to make reservations. The inside is beautiful. Really good Tiramisu and like my earl grey cocktail. I think the food was not bad, nothing that wow-ed, but is a cute place for a date night. I have never seen leek in ravioli, but it was good. The pasta portions were a little on the smaller side.

A little hard to find but SO worth it! It's not labeled on the street, but if you look really closely, there's a teeny sign that says "restaurant" and points downstairs. We ate at the bar, and the service was so friendly and incredible. Making a reservation was easy online. It's very cozy and warm with the set up and lighting, it's a perfect spot for a date night or winter relief from the cold. Our favorite was the orecchiette with pistachio pesto, perfectly al dente and packed with flavorThe malloreddus was also delicious, but a little too salty for our tasteDessert is a must! The tiramisu was light, not too sweet, and went so fastHighly recommend this spot, and we will definitely be back! Cocktails were also very yummy, so a fantastic spot for either dinner or just drinks

I was quite excited to try this place but I can't give it more than 2.5/5Drinks were fine, nothing great.Focaccia was underbaked! And the ravioli tasted really funny, got my friend and I almost sick. The look of this place is cool but that's that

This establishment is a bit more challenging to locate compared to most speakeasy's I have been to, but once inside, it aligns with the typical experience. The food was rather mediocre, and we waited over 45 minutes for our order to arrive. On a positive note, the drinks were excellent, which might warrant a return visit just for that. The ambiance was beautifully designed, with dark red, moody lighting that creates an inviting atmosphere. I would recommend this spot if you're looking to catch up with a friend over drinks, but I suggest dining elsewhere beforehand.

Disappointed so far, it seems like they don't have the kinks worked out yet. We had a reservation for bar seats and upon our on time arrival our seats were not ready. We waited over an hour for our seats to become available and during that time, no one left the bar. After an hour, we told them we were leaving to get dinner somewhere else (still no seats were available). While initially upon check in they had offered a table if we preferred, a table was never re-offered. I don't know if they sat someone without a reservation or if truly people overstayed their welcome as we received a couple different excuses. The only menu item I can comment on is the cacio e pepe martini which I found a little too pungent with garlic flavor. Would not order again.

A little hard to find, it's in a basement. The vibes are beautiful - retro chic, feels like something out of a James Bond film. Red themes and dim lighting, it's hard not to appreciate the atmosphere. Only problem is that it's difficult to take a good picture in there with my phone - but that's neither here nor there. Service was warm, friendly, knowledgeable- and everything came out right on time. The food was stunning and delicious! I didn't really have any expectations going in - and I was delightfully surprised by the quality, cook and skill of the dishes. Flavors were well- balanced and just popped. It might be the best restaurant in the neighborhood. Especially for a date. Oh, and if you order the extra dirty martini - it really is quite *extra*. Looking forward to coming back.

We did not eat here just came for drinks which was okay bartender was making friends with other people from the industry cool.. I work in the food industry and tend bar as well . The last thing your patrons want to hear about is you complaining about your job of making the frufru cocktails that they're ordering. So right off the bat we felt like a burden. The restaurant is beautiful dark inside "romantic vibes" loved the bar seats so comfortable.
