The Red Brick Tavern

Had the grilled cheese and fries which were great. I like my fries a little crispier. These were thicker cut but seasoned really well. The grilled cheese was dynamite. The ladies at the bar next to me had pizza that they said was very spicy. It was thin crust and looked delicious. The service was really good. Very quick and the ambiance was small and quaint. It was packed in there on a Friday night so you know they do a good business.

Great atmosphere, clean establishment. But the last few time we've gone the food hasn't been up to par like when it first opened. Lots of locals do go and dine here.........Service is generally on point though.Just not my first choice.

This quaint place in the center of Conroe, Texas is one of the best kept secrets in the Greater Houston area!! Great atmosphere, and great food and drinks. I highly recommend!!!Their service is awesome too...

Back camping again at Huntsville SP, and couldn't help but visits RBT for another delicious, 5-star meal. This time we split the (romaine) wedge salad - big enough for tow as starters or add your choice of protein and you have a full meal. Deviled eggs weren't much to write home about, but aren't the worst we've had, either (the random piece of cicerone's on top was just... random)Hubs ordered the meatloaf and we went for the grilled chicken sandwich sans-bread. Y'all. That meatloaf is A LOAF. It was a HUGE slice, mouthwatering my good, moist in just the right ways. This meatloaf brings all the boys to the yard, damn right, it's better than yours. My grilled chicken was plated nicely and with some mashed potatoes (Yukon, skin on) it felt like a nicely catered meal. Hubs was slurping down the collard greens again, they were right on pointe. Food, Ambiance, and service was excellent! We had a party of 5 and only had to wait a short moment to be seated. The autistic guitarist was awesome!!

We happen to be in Conroe and at Red Brick Tavern again. The food here is amazing for such a small place. Fabulous. Service top notch and waitstaff are so helpful the menu. My husband's green beans were so delicious, I made them at home they way the waitstaff told me how. The pizza incredible, one I am going to have bacon fat fried oysters next visit! We ordered a churro de leche pretzel that was a bit over cooked. Next I will out the brownie in a skillet when we order meal because it takes 25 minutes to bake. Love this place and want to come at night for music.

Loved this spot! We swung by for a bite before catching a play next door. Excellent food, especially their pistachio crusted chicken sandwich! What a lovely combination. They had a good Philly cheesesteak too! We ordered a pizza, but it didn't come out until after everyone else was done eating their entree. That was a bummer. Other than that, we had a really great experience. Cozy atmosphere.

Yesterday was our 3rd visit here and it has never disappointed! Today we got two different pizzas and they were both really tasty, the Pizza Mignon and a Dipiero. The first time we got the meatloaf and shrimp & grits. The ambiance is pretty cool and the food & service has always been top notch for us.

Great Tavern in downtown Conroe and usually has live music on weekends, which is a nice touch. Get the chicken wings! Pizza is not bad either.

Nice Tavern atmosphere with friendly and attentive service. Had the ring of fire pizza, absolutely loved it! Since I only had the one item, I am giving it a 4/5 score. If the rest of the menu is as good, definitely 5 stars!Ok, I returned the next night and had the same pizza, i really like the ring of fire... Serrano peppers just hit the spot! Nit as spicy as a jalapeño but still added some good flavor and I love the texture! Mi amigo had the Hawaiian and it was pretty darn good too! A little smoky bbq w pineapple. Od definitely get that one as well (if you like pineapple) we also had the bacon fried oysters and I washed mine down me gullet w some nice cold cream ale.Wtheck- I'm changing my score to a 5 star. If, looking for a gastropub in the Conroe area, look no further!
