This places is a blend of the past and the present. Large meeting rooms to have events, with decor from the past. A work out room with new equipment. A nice little lounge with great, inexpensive food and a super friendly staff. They treat you like family here. Lots of small rooms if you want to work or just settle in with a good book.

For over 130 years, The Rainier Club has been dedicated to building and celebrating relationships in the social and historic heart of Seattle. Rainier Club is a private social club in a historic building and we attend an auction event as volunteer in it. inside the building the decoration is of timeless elegance. I think this place is perfect for events like wedding because its lounges and restaurant services. On its website, it is home to one of the largest private collections of works by Edward S. Curtis, famed photographer, ethnographer, and Rainier Club member from 1903-1921.

Absolutely beautiful space with a history. I've been a few times to The Rainier Club, and every time I step in, I just fall in love. With a city that continues to grow in an increasingly automated world, it's so refreshing to have historic buildings, such as The Rainier Club keep to its charm, despite the skyscrapers surrounding it. The first time I visited The Rainier Club was for a friend's wedding, as his family are club members. The ceremony took place on the second floor of the building in an open room with giant windows that looked out to the street. And the reception took place in another room nearby where there was a dance floor, live band and a balcony that looked out to the city. It was truly one of the most beautiful ceremonies I've ever been to, and the food served was outstanding. Again, The Rainier Club is a space that keeps to its tradition, and in large part, that's why I love it here. As soon as you walk in you see details dating back to the early 1900's, with vintage furniture in each room, carefully crafted and thought out for every space here. They even have a rotating art gallery that one of the members donates. After touring the space and learning more about the club, I am impressed by how much TLC goes into making members feel appreciated and special. They have a lot of amenities here, including their own secret bar in the building, a wine room with plaques, indicating the members' collection, complimentary meals, use of meeting spaces, etc...It's truly, a gem in Seattle that speaks volumes, even years after.

My boyfriend's company has had their company party here a couple of times. I have to say that I really like this place! Food and wine were good and the staff is always professional and friendly. I love the 4th floor area and library rooms. Such a wonderful place!

My husband and I could not be more delighted with our August wedding at the Rainier Club. The Club provided a timeless, elegant setting with beautifully appointed spaces for cocktail hour and our wedding festivities, each room featuring curated art from the Club's collection. The Heritage Room is a stunning dining room with tall-ceilinged grandeur, wonderful natural lighting and gorgeous chandeliers. Kristan Sanchez and the Rainier Club staff were thoughtful, professional, going above and beyond for our wedding guests. We enjoyed our wedding meals and staff was very accommodating of our party's dietary requests, including a lovely house cocktail and surprise reception snacks for the occasion. Food was delicious and beautifully plated. Pricing is reasonable, highly recommend for weddings and large event parties.

I was a guest, not a member, but I thought the food and service were outstanding. While I didn't see anything that made me think - where do I sign up - I can see the appeal for those who have money to burn. I was disappointed with the old musty, dusty smell of the building and in the hallways, but other than that everything was the definition of first class!Extremely attentive and friendly staff!

Our wedding at the Rainier Club was all we could have asked for and more! While planning our wedding we toured all of the usual wedding venues in Seattle but nothing came close to matching the timeless elegance and history that the Rainier Club has. We could not have been more pleased with the impeccable and extremely personalized service provided by the venue throughout the process. Chef Jim modified dishes to suit our taste and lead bartender Joseph was able to perfectly recreate a cocktail from one of our favorite bars. We had the whole club to ourselves so were able to enjoy the beauty and character of several different spaces throughout our event and felt completely at home. The Rainier Club is a landmark mansion and its museum-quality art, luxurious furnishings, and refined elegance provide an ambiance that a hotel or typical wedding venue simply cannot provide. Our wedding was a fairy tale in large part to the Rainier Club. If you are trying to decide between the Rainier Club and anywhere else just remember that the Rainier Club has a fireplace large enough to fit an SUV!

I was lucky enough to attend an event here so this is a non-member review. Beautiful building tucked in downtown. Food was good and staff were friendly. I hope I am able to come back another time!

We stayed here recently and I would not recommended it nor would we stay there again. Cons- hot water was not available on several mornings for spans of 2-4 hours. - heat didn't work and hotel had to bring in portable heaters - no room service- breakfast included was quite minimal- no water, fridge or anything available in the room. We checked in and asked about dinner and it was suggested we go to 7-11 around the corner. I've stayed in hundreds of hotels all over the world and have never not had hot water and heat available. This is a pretty old building with a lot of history but it clearly needs a renovation.

I'd like to address a concerning incident we encountered at the Rainer Club. A few months back, my wife attended a birthday dinner for a friend and utilized the Rainer Club's valet parking service for her new Tesla. Upon returning home after the dinner, she noticed damage to the driver's side front rim, as if it had been curbed. We promptly reached out to the Rainer Club, who assured us they would investigate the matter. However, after days passed without any communication, we followed up and were directed to David, the property manager.David promised to look into the issue after consulting with the valet company. Despite our patience, a month went by with no updates. When we reached out to David again via email, he failed to respond. Two months later, after expressing our frustration with his colleague, we were assured David would contact us that day. However, when he finally did reach out, he was disrespectful to my wife and dismissive of the situation, claiming it was not their responsibility because she should have inspected the car more thoroughly, despite the darkness at the time.In conclusion, our trust in this company has been lost, and we will not be visiting their business again. It's disheartening to see a company tout good customer service yet refuse to take ownership of a mistake that occurred on their premises. It appears they prioritize high-spending clients over the general public seeking equal respect and service.
