Met a friend here for lunch. It was a beautiful day out so we sat on the patio. Service was very good, I just wish the food matched the service.Prices I assume are geared towards the location. Drinks were watered down and expensive. Another place where I had a Marga with barely any Rita. I tasted a hint of tequila. 2nd drink I just ordered a beer. Can never go wrong with a cold one.Lettuce wraps had zero seasoning. The lobster rolls were described as "kinda like Hawaiian sweet rolls" with a lobster filling. They were way smaller and I'm sorry but I did not taste any lobster. Bread was nice and soft though. Lastly, my friend just had to have the bread pudding. It was just ok.The Presley is a nice place if you want to sit and chit chat on a nice day, they are also very dog friendly which I loved. Wish I would have brought mine. Again we had great service but the prices and food were a no for me.

Food was alright. Ambiance was nice -- we sat outside. Service was sub par -- not busy at all for a Saturday night. Felt like my family and I were pre-judged by our server, Jhene (sp?). It seemed the family next to us got better service -- it took about 20min for her to even greet us, but the other family was greeted fairly quickly after being seated. No one else seemed to notice or care enough to check, so I guess they're not big on team work there. Jhene probably thought they would tip better by their looks alone, but servers should never judge a book their covers. My husband still left a 20% tip because it was the lowest option to choose from, besides a custom tip, but that would've required Jhene to actually let go of the handheld payment device. On a brighter note, the blonde hostess was really nice :)

Would give it a 4.5/5. Great outdoor seating, but ended up inside due to the chilly weather. Making a reservation can make things easier to get a table. 1) shrimp scampi- came with a lot of shrimp that were well seasoned and tender. Tasted fresh.2) Ahi tuna salad- seared well with a good amount, would've wanted it with a little more dressing3) fish and chips- not a fan of the fried breading, fish was tasty, the fries were really good and crisp4) chicken wings- nice a dry, good sized chicken5) calamari- breading was well done and seasoned, the peppers were tasty

The food was pretty good, but not super brag worthy. The vibes were nice, because who doesn't love Liberty station!? The service, though, was great! Our server, whose name I forgot, offered the best service that I've had in a restaurant in a long time. He was timely with checking back with us, he was polite and gave good recommendations. He deserves a raise!

I'd been thinking about trying this place for a while. I don't know that we'll come back or that it's a must go but it was nice to visit and we enjoyed our evening. 5 stars for service, 5 stars for my cocktail, 3.5 for the patio, 3-4 for food. SERVICE: exceptionally nice. The hostess was very welcoming, and I could see that the waitstaff here really likes working here (one server had her mom visiting and there was another table with a former staff member that everyone kept visiting).PATIO: large, and with good heaters. But there are three areas, and the one we were in (farthest from the road) needs some more greenery or decoration. It was lots of concrete. But the heater was nice!COCKTAIL: Got the Bee's Knees. A perfect little cocktail, with gin, simple syrup, mint, lime and cucumber. Enjoyed it thoroughly.APPETIZER: Parker House Rolls "with truffle butter". These were ok, like undercooked King's Hawaiian Rolls. They weren't bad, but I wouldn't recommend these. My sweetie got the LIBERTY GREENS. This was a week ago and I'm not remembering whether he loved it or not. I know I had some of the goat cheese and it was tasty. I think he liked the dressing? ENTREES: I got the Horseradish Crusted Salmon. I liked the potatoes. The spinach was fine (nothing to shout about). I did not like the "smoked tomato purée," but it was fine leaving it on the side. The salmon was pretty good; interesting crust. Not a must-have dish, but I liked it. Spouse did one of their steaks (I don't remember which). I did like the potato purée that came with it.DESSERT: he got the Roast Your Own Smores and liked it.So overall, this is not a restaurant I'm shouting about that you need to visit. But we like Liberty Station and it was fun to try here and we had a nice evening. They're definitely friendly and the food is good if not spectacular, and the patio is comfortable if not the best!

This place doesn't have the best service. Waitress seems like she could've had a better attitude. I felt like we were putting her out. Not a good feeling.I had to ask the hostess for the happy hour menus. She only gave us the regular menus when she seated us.It was a chilly gray day evening but there were plenty of heaters. I ordered the Brussels sprouts with balsamic and bacon and onions. It was $13 and plenty for me, and I have a good appetite! They were cooked well and charred nicely but they needed a lot more balsamic reduction and onions. Pretty skimpy. My friends had the happy hour salad with salmon and it was just so so. Nothing special. My other friends had the shrimp tacos with fries and she was very happy.I was not impressed by this place. Expensive and not that good. Oh well

Sunday brunch on a beautiful day calls for a trip to The Presley. I haven't been here in awhile but it is always a spot we think of heading over to because the parking situation is a bit better than other areas in San Diego. I did make a last minute reservation just in case since it was a Sunday and there were plenty of options. We ended up sitting on the other side of the restaurant, I didn't even know the restaurant was that long and had a whole other inside bar as well as another back patio. We decided to share a bottle of champagne with some juices for mimosas, the deal allows you to pick 2 juice choices which was nice and it is over all the best deal if you are wanting brunch cocktails or drinks. I went with the orange ricotta pancakes which also comes with eggs and bacon so it was the best of both worlds, it also came with this cranberry butter that was awesome and the pancakes were huge! My boyfriend got the steak and eggs benny which came with the house potatoes which unfortunately were not great, they definitely needed to be cooked a bit longer but overall it was a good meal.

Over the years, Liberty Station has certainly upped its restaurant game. I know everyone complains about the lack of parking, and it can be a problem, but honestly, I've always found a spot somewhere with a few minutes of trying. The Presley (no relation to Elvis, I assume) is massive and sprawling but I would still recommend making a reservation. It's very casual so come as you are. It's kid friendly, too. It sort of has a sports bar vibe--some nasty MMA action was directly in my line of sight when I looked upward from my seat--but I wouldn't call it a sports bar. There's plenty of outdoor seating which would be nice on a sunny day.Everyone orders the Parker House rolls as an appetizer and they are good. They come out quickly and are very fresh and hot and slightly sweet, too.For our entrees, we tried the Chicken Pesto Flatbread, the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, and the cheeseburger with bacon added. The flatbread is very nice. You get a huge portion and it has lots of flavor. I must say I was disappointed with the chicken sandwich. The chicken was overcooked and didn't have a drop of juice left in it. The sandwich itself is nice enough with all of the toppings but man, that poor chicken gave his life for this? The burger was very good. I wolfed the whole thing down. If you are in the mood for a burger, this is a nice one.For dessert, the make your own s'mores is a crowd pleaser. They bring this mini charcoal bbq of sorts to your table and, indeed, you can roast some marshmallows and make s'mores, if that's your jam, so to speak. I don't have a sweet tooth but the s'mores tasted very s'more-y to me. They are good.Service was friendly, a little too hipster, and definitely a little too absent. I guess that's a new thing in the hospitality industry: disappear for long stretches at a time.As others have noted, in small print at the bottom of the menu, there is a 4% "surcharge" on top of your bill. The stated menu prices are already pretty high. I know, I know, increased costs, etc. I get it. Covid, inflation, hurricanes, locusts, etc. But I really feel that is a BS charge added onto everyone's bill that most people will not notice until it's too late. If it's really necessary, increase your prices. Most people don't read the fine print and it's a nasty surprise when they get the bill. This is a sneaky charge even if it's for raising money for wounded veteran orphan manatees.Good food, somewhat spotty service, nice looking place, and a 4% surcharge. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner.
