The Porch

I've lived just a few blocks from this restaurant for the past four years, but have never tried it. Super cute from the outside, but reviews always seemed a little mixed. In any event, we finally gave it a try this weekend and I must say had a pretty good experience. Service was friendly and solicitous, definitely focused on the upsell, so took some of the staff recommendations with a grain of salt. In addition, almost every item on the menu has options for adding more items and obviously more cost. But, admirable I guess on their part, it is a business after all and this seems to be the norm these days. We ordered the following: Shrimp Quesadillas (4/5) - good quality, quantity and fillings. Shrimp decent size and cooked perfectly with/generous portion of cheesiness. Salsa had nice smoky undertones and tasted very fresh. Good compliment to the quesadillas.Beer Battered Onion Rings (4.5/5) - home run. Took .5 points of because it wasn't that generous of a portion. But these were great. Crisp with a good crunch. Onions tender and cooked perfectly inside. Served with ranch and tomato ketchup. Excellent with both. Cheeseburger with salt/pepper fries (4/5). Thought this was a great burger, chose to go with the two smashed patties. I favor these especially when they have a nice crunch around the edges and this one did. Fries were also pretty good. Wasn't a huge fan of their house sauce which fortunately I got to the side, so I added a little ketchup and mustard and it was perfect for me. All in all a good visit, loved that several TV's were visible from almost every seat and each featured different sporting events. Looks like they have a pretty good happy hour and they have a late night menu of items that is pretty extensive compared to some other bars in the area. We will definitely try the Porch again.

A bit disappointing compared to the Porch in Tempe. The aesthetic is really cute but the food just missed the mark. I brought my mom here and she loved the mural outside and took pictures of us with it. The music was great but loud. We were singing along but if you want somewhere quiet this is not the place. We ordered a breakfast burger, border bowl, fries, and an apple pie skillet. All of the food was mid. It wasn't bad but it just didn't wow me. They were slow when we went in so the service was good.

Wow.. lots has changed since my last visit. Apparently certain people have to leave a credit card at lunch time when they order alcohol with their lunch But not everybody. I was chosen today, felt like a random search at the airport that's not quite random.We got our food and one round of drinks, when I made contact with the bartender who never checked on us, and asked her for another round, she brought us the receipt to sign, she just charged it all to my card without bringing the check or confirming payment.We paid and left, clearly we weren't going to get another drink or good service. Most of the people after us did not have to leave a credit card. I've been to the other Porch locations and have never been asked for a credit card at lunch time! That bartender definitely did not want to be there today.

Went to the porch for a bachelorette brunch! You can't beat the $20 buckets of mimosas, the service and the vibes! We sat outside and since it was shaded they set up the heaters to keep us warm! The biggest win, the brunch platter. This platter of amazingness contained brioche French toast sticks, omelette sliders on kings Hawaiian rolls, a chorizo, egg and cheese quesadilla and a pile of crispy potatoes. All of the accompanied by fresh fruit, delicious salsa and warmed syrup, plus a bowl of fresh whipped cream! This was a huge hit!! There was 8 of us and it was plenty to share! We did add the avocado toast, which was on a thick sourdough and served with eggs, and the chilaquiles served with green chili pork. All of the food was fresh, warm (or hot based on what it was) and timely! Our waiter Nicky was amazing and it was a great way to kick off the day with our bride!

This is a super trendy retro sports bar with a lively atmosphere. I enjoyed my lanai chicken sandwich and the onion wings were fabulous. I loved the patio and the service was also very friendly.

We came for a Sunday funday. Music was so good, Vanessa, our server, was fantastic and super attentive!! Loved coming here and they had great deals for drinks. Definitely recommend if for happy hour our just a good time.

Despite comments & reviews, I called to ask if they're dog friendly and got told only service animals. Bummer, was hoping to try it out.

Very cool place. We had great service and the food was tasty and the drinks were delicious. We each had a grilled chicken sandwich. I had the Lanai and my hubby had the Nashville hot. Both were really flavorful. Only complain is the chicken was a bit rubbery. It wasn't over cooked, just not tender. Not sure why. Still tasted great, just a little tough to bite thru. We both had onion rings and they were breaded & cooked to perfection. Delicious! I had the Jungle Juice which was so very tasty!! Perfect mix of juices & booze. We finished with the churro donut holes that were awesome. They came with melted frosting and chocolate sauce. Really very good. They have lots of TV 's if you want to watch sports. Really cool place that we really enjoyed.

From Chicago, first time at the Porch on a Sunday after church. The place was poppin'!Whatever you do, I highly recommend sitting outside. We were by the mist machine and it kept us cool.I ordered the pork stew (5/5) and it was really good! I've never had anything quite like it before. It was like a pork taco, without the shell, and a little more soupy. Very original and good.My daughter ordered the avocado toast and thoroughly enjoyed it. The best part is the setting--great vibe, very festive, loud, and fun. Highly recommended!

Came here for lunch when a nearby restaurant had an unspecified wait, and we were seated immediately. Food is basic pub food, high quality, and there are a LOT of choices on the menu. The sliders were delightful and the fries perfectly thin and crispy. Portions were large and there was enough to take home.My friend's shrimp salad looked AMAZING. I'm not a salad person but I'm definitely ordering it next time - plenty of shrimp, good dressing, and just really nicely presented (fancy!). There are a lot of interesting cocktails on the menu so this would definitely be a fun place for a night out.Service was quick, efficient, and friendly. We will absolutely be back!
