The Pearl Club

Sometimes a spot just hits on everything it's advertising and this is one of those places! From beginning to end they delivered from service to food and ambiance. You are immediately enveloped in dark, sleek, lounge vibes. The cocktails hit the spot and the improvised ones might be even better! They don't have a full menu but the snacks are sized like appetizers and very tasty with drinks. Perfect for a before or after stop. However we spent the most time here and enjoyed every minute!

A good option for an early evening drink and snacks. The service was phenomenal though the place was still filling up as we came. The ambiance was dark green with British vibes, and their logo is clever. As far as the food, it was mostly a hit. The tuna carpaccio was phenomenal. The chicken nuggets were fun bar food. The pigs in the blanket were a really fun concept and the mustard dipping sauce was delicious, but the pastry was a bit too dry. The chocolate chip cookie skillet with vanilla bean ice cream was rich and perfect.Cocktails were decent, though they lacked originality as a whole and are not as cutting edge as many of my favorite cocktail bars in the city, which offer savory and spicy cocktails. Theirs were a lot of remakes on Manhattans and Old Fashioneds.

I guess it's time to let the cat out of the bag. One of the coolest spots for a cocktail or light bite. The decor is captivating and a mood by itself. On an unrelated tangent, I still can't believe it was a bank at one time. In terms of music and it's vibe, it's perfect for a night out with friends or a special someone. You can hear the selections but they are at a volume that allows you to converse without yelling. The average cocktail is in the $20 range which is pretty reasonable by city standards.

Truly lovely lounge. Speakeasy vibes and the great drinks and friendly bartenders!!! Small food menu that we didn't try since we came after dinner. We'll be back.

Beautiful interior, great drinks. Dark and insulated, we had no idea there was a tornado outside. Surely, the Pearl Club is one of the best lounges in Chicago.

Had a great experience here the night before thanksgiving. Our bartender was very friendly and whipped up some great drinks for us. The ambiance here is very appealing, and they did a great job decorating for Christmas. It just felt overall very warm and cozy, and gave a sense of an earlier era (pre 1950s). We did not eat here so we cannot comment on the food, but would certainly return for drinks. They have a lot of lounge type seating if you're looking for that here.

Came here on a Tuesday night and was pretty impressed. Awesome decor, cozy feel, and pretty good tunes-- they play it all! The bartender was awesome, and I must say, she knows her shit! Though I'm not much of a cocktail gal, the espresso martini was decent. The star of the night were the sliders and French fries! They are a MUST!! It's very rare to receive fries fresh out the fryer, so I really appreciated it that. Needleee to say, I'll def be back for those two items.

An unexpected gem in the Chicago cocktail bar scene! The inside is dramatic with blue velvet draped on the walls, metal chandeliers, and leather furniture. The lighting is dim and romantic. The cocktails here cost probably around the same amount you'd spend in River North but the quality at The Pearl Club is a million times better. The glassware at The Pearl Club is beautiful, the cocktail presentation is sophisticated and not gimmicky, and the liquors and ingredients are high quality. Even lemon drop shots had an elevated feeling to them. The staff is attentive and they offered to check our coats for free which was a huge bonus on a cold Chicago night.

Took my bestie here for her birthday and it was incredible! The service was great! I wish I could remember her name but it's been a few days-- she was wearing a beautiful long green dress and we asked her where she got it from-- maybe she will read this! There was phenomenal low lighting inside and the decor was a vibe! Food was great! Love the small plates-- def try the elotes hush puppies! The drinks were the star! I've had so many pimms cups over the years, but theirs really blew me out of the water! And after trying the other drinks everyone ordered we will definitely be back!

Across the board quality - drinks, ambiance, subtle music, small plates, friendly service. Looking forward to returning with friends, colleagues, and clients.
