The Pancake Pantry

Love a local treasure. It's as simple as it gets, but amazing taste. The pancakes are fluffy and the sides are just as delectable. I got the pancake meal with sausage and eggs, my party got the Sugar and Spice pancake (the special syrup is chef's kiss) and a veggie omelet with the buttermilk pancakes. Food came out fast and we gobbled our plates. I would recommend going as early as possible because the line starts to get long around 9:45am. We went early and were seated promptly. The only gripe is parking. Street or find other lots. I parked at the Belle Court Theater (paid parking). Forgot pictures, because we ate the food too fast

Very average. Heard so much about this place. I'm a local. Fast seating, but after that slow as molasses. Eggs were good. Bacon was poor. Soggy and very thin. Pancakes average, syrup was like water. Very thin. Very disappointing. Hash browns were excellent. All in all very average. Lots of hype and Biscuit Love blows this place out of the water. One and done for me.

Oh, we enjoyed our visit at The Pancake Pantry!The staff was very friendly during the entire experience. The place was bustling, with a line down the street. Clearly everyone loves this spot in the surrounding area.The vibes were that of a polished up diner. Cozy. Very open dining area, so you're kinda in the middle of it all no matter where you sit. But that didn't rub us the wrong way.The food was phenomenal. Great flavors, great ingredients, tasty overall. Definitely the place to stop for breakfast while visiting.

Excellent service- friendly and efficient. The food was good, except for the Bloody Mary, which tasted like a gross premade mix. Great coffee and our server kept it filled. The traditional pancakes were the star of the show. I tried something new, the Swedish pancakes, and learned that I don't really like lingonberries, at least not in that quantity or in a crepe, but that isn't their fault. My son loved his omelet and my daughter enjoyed her kids pancake meal. It looks like this place is always busy so be prepared for a moderate wait for a table. Parking in the lot behind the restaurant is free for the first 90 minutes with a ticket placed in your dashboard.

We arrived here at around 12:30pm on a Friday afternoon to a very short line. Celebrities all love this brunch spot, so we had to try it. It's definitely worth the hype. Best pancakes ever. It's very open with lots of seating inside, so the line moves quick. But we never felt rushed. They were short staffed, but our waitress was still awesome. The diners around us were so friendly too. I can see why locals love it just as much as tourists.

Highly recommended by many people we talked to while visiting from out of town. It was about a 30 min drive from the Opry land area where our resort was located. We got here around 915 a.m., and there was a line waiting outside to be seated. Fortunately, it moved quickly. We were offered a table outside, but I declined. Nice thing about the outdoor dining. There seemed to be plenty of shade covering all tables. Ordering was standard, and we were greeted promptly. Yes, pancakes are their specialty, and there were many different variations of them, but sadly, the signature pancakes didn't come with anything except syrup. I am used to having my breakfast staples come with all the works ie.. bacon, sausage, toast, hashbrowns, and or biscuit and lastly eggs. The way the menu is set up is you can order a 2 egg plate with bacon but will not come with toast or hashbrowns? They were asking $5 for hashbrowns?? And yes, it would come with plain pancakes. I ordered a 3 egg omelette that came with ham, tomatoes, peppers, and american cheese, and this came with 2 plain pancakes. Overall, I don't believe the hype here. There was so much lacking to complete the breakfast experience. When you are charging someone $15 for an omelet it better come with some strips of bacon, hashbrowns, and biscuit or toast plus a pancake if you don't want to include 2 of them. Also, I don't believe in a mobile device for payment suggesting I leave a 28% tip??? WTF

We loved this place. Not only is the food good, but there's FREE PARKING! The wait is in the outside vestibule. There was a sheet of paper saying so, but we (and other first timers) thought we needed to tell the hostess we at least were there. With barely looking at us and another family, she rudely told us to wait outside. Not even 30 seconds later, she came and seated us. Our server Seth was nice and attentive. Brought coffee refills without having to hunt him down. And we got a couple to go upon leaving. My hubby got a custom omelet and pancakes. I got the small appetite plate. We added on hashbrowns which were the best ever. They aren't the shredded potatoes; almost more like smashed potatoes.

A staple here in Nashville for breakfast and brunch. Delicious pancakes and sides. Make sure to try the cinnamon roll pancakes! Service was great and everyone was so friendly and helpful with navigating the menu.

Contrary to the name, you should order the French Toast here, which is very tasty. The pancakes were also very good as was the fresh squeezed orange juice. I also had an omelette, which was fine and really not anything to write home about. There was essentially no wait for us to get into the restaurant and the food came out pretty quickly. The service was good overall and the atmosphere felt like any other brunch spot. Overall, I really liked the food at the Pancake Pantry and would come back again.

An iconic pancake place in America that lives up to the hype. Seriously the best pancakes I've ever had. The taste is unique and couldn't be replicated. My girlfriend said the cinnamon roll pancakes changed her life. Service was great, ambiance was great. Truly a must visit in the Nashville area.
