The Other Side Bar

The Other Side had a special place in my heart. The servers are so great. The drinks are an amazing deal. The food is really good. There are trivia and fun nights. It's got such a Lincoln Park neighborhood neighborhood vibe. You can order from the Pasta Bowl or you can order a pizza or drinks or beers while watching games. Or you can sit at the counter and chat with people. The food is really good but it's not just about the food here. It's my go to spot!

Came for a bite to eat and a couple of drinks on a week night. The atmosphere was fine and the food was okay - cheese curds were done well, chicken tenders a little over-cooked with no dipping sauce. Midway through my meal, I hear screeches from 2 customers and people jumping up from their bar stools. I look around and then down and a giant RAT is scurrying around the floor. While I understand that the city of Chicago has a rat problem in general and one could easily get in, the lack of any action from the staff was dumbfounding. At the very least you would think an apology and a perhaps a comping of the meal would be done. Needless to say, not going back.

The other side is attached to pasta bowl. It's a great neighborhood bar in Lincoln park Chicago. It's daily small and does get busy so come early if you want a table or you may have yo wait. The food is excellent!! They also have the pasta bowl menu available :)

My husband and I came here for one drink while we waited for a table next door. It was a Friday night and it was very crowded! They had several sporting games playing on their multiple TVs and people were definitely there to watch. It was a fun atmosphere! We'll definitely come back another time and stay longer.

One of my favorite bars in Chicago! This is a true local bar with affordable drinks, a fun atmosphere and great food. It is attached to The Pasta Bowl so you can order bar food or pasta. The staff is super inviting and fun and truly makes this place what it is. The cheese curds are the best I've ever had, so I highly recommend ordering those. Check this place out if you're looking for a fun night out!

Great place! Our server, Adeline couldn't have been anymore pleasant. Went for Gopher/Illini game so place was filled with Gopher fans. Drinks were very reasonable and the staff was first class! We'll be back!

As texted to my group text:Big size and they got the extra breading like Hooters does which I like. Sauce was minimal on the order of Hot and tasted too much like bbq on the buff-a-que. Happy to eat them now but will not order again 5 stars

Fun staff, good music & vibes. One side serve pasta dishes only and the other side has bar food, Pizza, burgers, and wings. Plenty TVs for the sport fans. Meetup spot

Great service and Atmosphere! Bartenders are awesome! Also great chalk art on walls!

Came in with my sisters earlier in the day. Fun little bar with great prices. Will be back again!
