This is a neighborhood sushi spot that is in a small and walkable area of Brookhaven. They are in a block of restaurants and shops and have free parking in the back and on the street. I sat at the bar and it took about 5 min for someone to come and talk to me but after that I was good. The wait staff were all pretty friendly. The men in the front making sushi were also pretty chill as well (that's because I sat right in front of them at that bar top lol). They have a full bar at the restaurant so if you are coming to drink, that should be fine. Oddly enough, the bar shares space with the sushi bar so they kind of have to work together in the same space. For a busy evening, that seems like that isn't efficient lol. Beef bulgogi ramen was good. It had mad flavor and I would order again. Fried squid legs were pretty good too. They had a pretty good sauce and they were huge. Not just regular calamari..but it was almost the whole bottom of the squid. Hibachi (chicken and shrimp with fried rice) had a good taste to them. It was not a lot though. Not sure what I expected but it was a smaller portion for sure. Double Decker roll was great. That's all I got lol. Calamari was okay, the squid legs were better. They were the flash fried out of the bag type (I am assuming) so nothing Earth shaking about them. Chicken karaage *see calamari review*Bang bang shrimp *see calamari review*I would actually go back here but I would not necessarily go back for all of the appetizers. I will go back probably for a sushi roll or two, but just regular fried food out of a bag didn't do anything for me.

Delicious!! Everything was soooo good! We went when they first opened and it was quiet. Less than 20 people inside. Service was good as well. Our waiter helped me pick my cocktail. The lychee martini is a must try!

Hubby was craving sushi for dinner, but it was too hot and humid to get out and about so we chose to have delivery. One Sushi Plus came up in the list of recommended options and we had never tried it before. We love getting surprised by new yummy food options. We spent a pretty penny but most were worth it because of the quality of ingredients and unique flavor combinations. I would skip the "side" items of miso soup, ginger house salad, and edamame. These were just ok, not very flavorful, and seemed like they came from a different kitchen compared to the sushi selections we made. The sushi was delicious and all tasted very fresh and had unique flavor combos. We sampled multiple rolls and a few appetizers. Asparagus fries were crispy even via delivery. The Spicy Tuna on the Rock was good but we suspect it would have been better if we had been eating in person (if we received it fresh from the kitchen). I was a bit disappointed that the yellowtail jalapeno shots offered and sold through the delivery app were not actually delivered as shots. The liquid part was not included, but the yellowtail and accoutrements on top still tasted good. We also had chirashi don (chef's choice of 12 slices of sashimi on a bed of seasoned sushi rice), chanel replica, picante, double decker, and avocado cucumber rolls. My favorite of these was the chanel replica and picante was hubby's. Everything came well packaged and looked pretty when we opened the containers. We'll keep One Sushi Plus on our list to visit in person!

This was our second time eating at this restaurant and the sushi is by far the best we have tasted since moving to Atlanta over a year ago. Our favorite rolls are sex and the city and the double decker. The service is consistently amazing. And the treat that took our experience over the top was their newly added dessert menu! We tried the sweet Jane and fried tempura ice cream. Both were outstanding but the sweet Jane surprised me! Imagine the chocolate eclair and strawberry shortcake ice cream pops you enjoyed as a child being elevated with the enhancement of a green tea ice cream with its unexpected complimentary flavors. Trust me when I tell you this is a must try!I've never desired a dessert at a sushi joint, but I can't wait to come back for this!!

Bottom Line:I would recommend. A bit pricey, but the food was great and service was quick. Atmosphere:Quiet, low-light ambience, dark theme. Very spaciousFood:We got two appetizersThe Bang Bang Shrimp was cooked very nicely. The batter was very crispy. I was expecting the sauce to be a bit tangier. Not as much flavor as I had hoped for. The Calamari Tempura was much better than one I had at a very high end Italian restaurant last week in Destin. Perfectly fried tempura batter with juicy squid and the lime-wasabi teriyaki sauce that came with it was delicious. We got three different entreesTwo of my companions got the Double Decker(Shrimp tempura, cream cheese/crab meat, ebi shrimp/spicy Mayo, eel sauce, and tempura flakes) and the Playboy(Shrimp tempura, cream cheese/spicy tuna, avocado, red tobiko, tempura flakes/eel sauce). They were both essentially the same to me, but I liked the Playboy better because I wasn't a fan of the fibrous texture of the crab in the Double Decker. I typically love crab, but this time around it tasted kind of dry and tough.I got the Picante(Spicy yellowtail, cucumber, Salmon, avocado, yellowtail, and jalapeño ponzu sauce. This was by far my favorite. The fish was so tender and all of the ingredients along with the citrusy ponzu sauce and the kick from the jalapeño just tied together so well. It was absolutely delicious. Service:Our service was very quick. The only complaint that I had was I ordered a Miso Soup as an appetizer and our waitress forgot it, but she didn't forget to take it off the bill. This hurt the review as a good miso soup is one of the things I consider a staple at every sushi restaurant I visit, and I didn't get to try it last night. Nevertheless, she fixed the bill when I brought it up at the end of the meal.Overall:A bit pricey, but it was good. Great quality fish, great flavor, quick service, comfortable atmosphere. I'll be back.Bottom Line:I would recommend. Very pricey, but the food was great and service was quick.Atmosphere:Quiet, low-light ambience, dark theme. I'll wouldn't make it a regular dining spot, but I'll be back.

Great sushi, friendly staff. I've been twice and was practically the only customer in the restaurant both times (near 5pm) on weeknights. There is no beer on tap but its not exactly a place you go to get beer. They serve mixed drinks primarily but also have canned beers domestic and foreign. Quite a variety of sushi including some that are not raw in addition to more traditional fare. There are also non sushi items on the menu like the beef bulgogi that I would recommend to anyone who isn't in the mood for sushi but does want a protein.

Everything was excellent as ALWAYS. I drive almost an hour to get this sushi and it's worth the time and the money. We love to also order the salami fried rice which can be shared between 2-3 people depending on what else you order. Served fresh and piping hot. The first two pictures are from a previous visit that I forgot to post and the remaining pictures are from this week. If you are ever in the Brookhaven area stop by The One Sushi, you will not be disappointed

My wife and I had our first meal here last night and we will be back. The menu is half cooked items and half sushi. We ordered from the cooked side and will explore the sushi side later. Everything clicked for us. Food was really good (salad with ginger dressing was especially good) and so was the service. The outside tables are pleasant, and important to us, pet friendly. The inside looks very nice/cozy with good bar area and tables. Two additional things pleased us:1) wine bottles are half price Mon/Tues/Wed--three nights each week.2) they are not afraid of TV's. We like that as we're sports fans. Somehow they aren't intrusive and do not make the restaurant feel sports bar-ish. The outside deck was showing a baseball playoff game (sound off). Inside, they have several TV's. Will be a great place for us this Fall.

The food was very good. My favorite appetizer was the squid leg fries. I would go back to eat them again. The sushis were very unique and had many flavors. I really like the picante and the selfie sushis because they were the most unique. Also, special mention to the samurai because it was very delicious. All the fish was very fresh and tasted very good. The server was very nice and very attentive. The sushi restaurant looked very modern and had enough space for people to sit down and relax. I gave it 4/5 because there is another sushi place that I like more, but this one is a close second!
