This is my favorite local restaurant to go to. Everything that I've tried from this place has been great, from the pad Thai to their curry and spring rolls to fried rices. I recommend this place to everyone looking for Asian food in north park. They get very busy on the weekends (because YUM) so plan ahead because wait times can be pretty long.

Checked this spot out per my cousins recommendation, but wasn't really sure what to expect. When I took a look at the menu I noticed that it wasn't just Thai food like my cousin said, but that there were Japanese, Chinese, and Korean flavors. The Gochujang udon looked real interesting so I ordered that and my cousin the Mi Goreng. The Mi Goreng tasted great, but the real star of the show was the Udon. I've never tasted something like that and loved the chew of the udon. It was a plate that warmed your stomach and left you with a feeling of content. 100% would recommend giving it a try if you are looking for something new to sink your teeth into. We had some sticky rice with a bit of Mango ice cream that the staff fixed up for us which was delicious as well. The peanuts were a great addition. Thai tea was 5/5 as well. The staff was excellent and provided great service throughout. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend this place and look forward to my next my next visit!

Great food and friendly staff. This was on my foodie bucket list for a while, but I hesitated because parking is bad in the area. I opted to come in for lunch and found parking a few blocks away. I had the laksa curry soup with ramen noodles. The portion size was huge. It was creamy with a light spice to it. To satisfy my sweet tooth, I had Fly Me to the Moon which was a large scoop of mango ice cream on top of sweet sticky rice. The dish wasn't too heavy, but I did not taste much mango in the ice cream. The server was kind and genuine. I had a nice conversation with him. A couple of customers came in to pick up takeout and he knew them by name and was on friendly terms with them. The restaurant is small, clean and bright.I look forward to returning to try more items on the menu.

This was my second time ordering food from Nood Bar. It has everything you want in Asian/Thai food from different rice dishes to Noodle dishes that can be combined with any type of Noodle you want. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai with a side of spicy Szechuan chicken wontons. The wontons were breaking apart by the tike I go home with my take out order and weren't as good compared to the last time I tried them. The Pad Thai was really flavorful and was enough for 2 servings.

The wait staff was very nice and the food did not take too long to be prepared... However, the food was not very good. I love the eggrolls, but I got chicken fried rice and it tasted like fish and the war wonton soup was just OK and the wontons tasted different like Because of the meat inside them.... The people are super nice, but I would not go back. I didn't think the food was very good.

Decided to retry this place since I only got takeout last time. Sadly, I once again wasn't impressed by this place. Started with Szechuan Spicy Chicken Wontons and Steamed Pork Dumplings. The dumplings were pretty bland and I didn't like the dipping sauce it came with. The wontons had a nice hint of spiciness, but I did have to add more. My biggest complaint was that they were the most empty-filled wontons I've ever received. Basically there was no point of even adding things inside. My friend got their Garlic Butter Noodles. While this was the best dish of the night, the garlic to butter ratio was way off with the butter being much stronger in flavor than the garlic. I got a Miso Broth soup with tofu and veggies. The tofu was disgusting and the soup itself looked like gravy, which was very unappetizing. I was just not a fan.

I lived near this part of town in the 70's. I remember it was quiet and there was a bowling alley. The bowling alley has closed. Replaced by apartments. It looks like a huge apartment complex is being built across the street. Should be lots of business for The Nood Bar when complete.Potstickers had a crunchy outer shell and full of veggies. I prefer protein in my potstickers. I would not get this again.Milky pork broth won ton soup. I liked the flavor of the pork broth. Disappointed this dish does not include noodles. Also the won tons was a single shrimp with a won ton wrapper. I prefer a mix of pork and shrimp. Cha shu pork appeared to be a piece of pork belly marinated with soy sauce. Pork was very tender and had lots of soy sauce based flavor. Fresh bok choy had a delicious earthy flavor and my favorite part of this dish.2nd visit I tried the salt and pepper fried chicken wings and pork yakisoba. The wings had crunchy skin and were tender without being dry. I got them without garlic and they had a mild flavor. I prefer Golden Chopsticks version.Pork yakisoba had a ton of yakisoba seasoning and I was very thirsty afterwards. Pork was tender and I loved the cabbage. Pretty good dish. If I ordered it again I think I'd add shrimp.Server was nice and the food came out fairly quickly. I love the Bruce Lee homage.

This place was really cute! I loved that I was able to pick the type of noodles and broth for my soup. The staff were friendly and helpful. The spicy miso broth was delicious. I will definitely be back.

Quite a nice option when you're in the mood for noodles, but you're not narrowed-down into wanting something more specific... vis-a-vis a phó mood, a ramen mood, a pad thai mood. They do a little bit of everything, here.Four stars not five through no fault of their own... the place was spotless, the service lovely, the food tasty, the prices reasonable... it's just that when you are despecialized and have offerings from a bunch of different regions of a continent, you're less likely to get 100% across the board. That said, I suspect that everything on the menu is a B+ or higher, it certainly all looked tasty and the other diners seemed happy... So if you want one thing, your friends each want another, one wants pad see ew and another wants sweet & sour pork... go here, they'll likely both be a B+ or better. But if you're a hardcore purist and want the absolute BEST __________ you've ever had, it may be more your vibe to go to a restaurant that only does that thing extraordinarily well. This place does a lot of different things, very (perhaps not extraordinarily) well.

A really good noodle spot in north park! I got the pad see ew and it was delious! Nothing too crazy just the classic noodle dish I know and love! Portion sizes were good, and these make for great leftovers. Came in an hour before closing but they graciously took us in- very kind! Cute & comfy interior! If I'm ever craving a classic noodle dish I'd stop here again!
