One of the places I tend to order from when I'm hanging out with my best friend who lives in Dorchester. The best thing is the food always arrives on time, if not before, is always hot, and tastes decent. I usually got chicken wings (whole) and fried rice. Both are averagely good (I enjoy them, but maybe not the best I've ever eaten). Honestly still very much a place I'll continue to get food from because of the things they get right (time and decent taste). I love consistency because that's matters.

A small Chinese carryout in the Upham neighborhood in Dorchester, Massachusetts serves some quality egg rolls and fried dumplings. Reminds me of PG County, MD Chinese carry outs. The food takes time to prepare and not greasy! If I was often in the neighborhood I would explore further!

3.5 nothing to write home aboit but this rqting is pretty good as far as Boston Chinrse takeout is concerned. Got a Ham fried rice and added some roast pork and some chicken wings which were lightly dredged in flour which I prefer to the more conventional five spice flavored chinese fried chicken wings all in all prettty good.

SMALLEST PORTIONED CHINESE FOOD IVE EVER SEEN!! I ordered for delivery, chicken with mixed vegetables and it comes with rice. They do not tell you that the "small" rice portion is literally smaller than your palm which is ridiculous because you're paying almost $8. The chicken looks like it was pre chewed (not literally) but that's what it looks like. It was really slimey and had no flavor at all. Couldn't even swallow it because honestly I'm not sure what I actually put in my mouth. Completely unappetizing, and not only did it not look like chicken it sure didn't taste like it either. This was so disgusting. Got: chicken fingers, boneless ribs and steak teriyaki. Everything over priced and small sizes. Chicken fingers were like pre frozen kind you get at a dive bar not typically Chinese chicken fingers. Wish I knew. Spare ribs had an odd smoke flavor to them that wasn't typical or appetizing. Steak teriyaki was OK but over $2 each stick. Won't order again, better options

Used to order from here all the time when they were located in Southie. I got it a few months ago and thought the food quality was pretty poor, but wanted to give them one last chance. I ordered through GrubHub about 25 minutes before they closed. The order was accepted, I got an abrupt call from the restaurant demanding I pick up the order because they were closing. I told them I don't have a car and I ordered delivery through GrubHub. She told me she'd call the driver and hung up on me. 5 minutes later the order was cancelled, 45 minutes after placing it. Don't waste your time with poor quality and poorer service. Give Golden Chef a try, way better food and nicer people :)
