Is this establishment owned by Brad Angel? Wondering, when searching for his name, this Yelp profile appeared. I knew him in the early 90's when I worked at Les Marks and was part of the La Porte Go-Texan Committee of the HLS&R.

Just heard about this little gem a couple weeks ago, paid it a visit for a quick cold one to check it out and was totally delighted! Love all the neon, indoors and out. Love the friendly but low-key regulars (easy to spot); love the bartender and the bar-dog, Brandon. He has his own bar stool and hops up, visits, and then goes to check out newcomers. Love the awesome food truck at the edge of parking lot, Mel's Germarica, with Mel cooking up maybe the best hamburger ever and the Schnitzel, of all things to find on a food truck menu, is absolutely delicious. She does great wings on certain nights and cooks up other items for the bar's regulars. This past Saturday my daughter and I joined the wonderful mixed crowd on The Moon's patio for really good crawfish and really good Zydeco. Can't wait to attend some of the other planned activities. Or, just drop in for a fun night and a cold Corona.

Friendly staff, welcoming regulars, not fancy but has much to offer. Let them know you're new tio the place you won't regret it.

Then The Neon Moon Saloon is for you: A easy going, southern dive bar with music-inspired decor, on a dark one way street at the end of any industrial park. Think "Black Velvet" meets "Tennessee Whiskey:" You know you're there when you see the lights on the outside patio, the country/blues/rock music wafting through the door and the motorcycles out front.

This place is a pure honky-tonk it was perfect for what I was looking for. The people are super friendly, and the beer is really cold it just doesn't get any better if you're looking for a honky-tonk.

Fun atmosphere and top notch staff, Melissa was knowledgeable and attentive. I visited on a Friday night and they had an open request DJ, variety of music with an energetic vibe.

Great little local bar! In the area and needed to kill half an hour so stopped in for a beer. I haven't been around such friendly people in a long time! I love the eclectic decorations!

I opened a tab for one beer with a credit card, got charged $ 40 dollars. I have lived in NEW YORK CITY and never paid 40 dollars for one beer.

Outdoor swing area. Very nice place to spend an evening. Lots of swings in the back, looks like a beautiful park area. I would recommend coming if you like music and relaxing.
