Melrose has always been the go-to for steaks! They're seasoned to perfection and juicey, with generous helping of sides. This place has never disappointed, and the service has always been great, especially tonight. But, the place is always packed so please be mindful that wait time can be between 30-120 min wait. I definitely encourage making reservations if you can. Although Melrose specifically is a steak place, their rotating special accommodates 2 seafood selections. It'll always be one grilled fish dish, another is a lobster or another shellfish, and a surf and turf selection. Their Cajun seafood pasta is also another great dish, with a kick of heat. Then of course the special rotating meat dishes such has 22oz boneless ribeye or lamb. HOWEVER! The best special and difficult to get, would be their Bison Steak! If you see this, you must give it a try. They're limited supply when they're offered on the special menu, but it definitely won't disappoint; not gamey, just all juicey and tender.

Awesome steaks and it includes a salad to start and the steak is accompanied with potatoes (pick your style) and veggies. Steaks are cooked to perfection and great service. Since discovering this place about 6 months ago, we're here at least once a month. Skip the crab legs - kind of dry. Awesome seafood pasta - perfect to have as a side and huge leftovers to take home!

Best everything, thank you sm Jason for accommodating my uncle and I for this evening. This is my Go-To Washington restaurant whenever I have anyone come into SeaTac for business, friends, family etc from Southern California where we have the best food and standards are high.Everyone I've taken I'd always satisfied and impressed with the ambiance; food, customer service and location from airport, not too close and just far enough. I've brought pescatarians, vegetarians and so forth and every person has found something on the menu to enjoy, we love making memories at Melrose, there is only two other restaurants in the entire state that are at the level and they're on an island so yeah LOVE YOU MELROSE!!!!!JASON YOU ARE THE BEST!!!!

Food- this time wasn't that great. I went here for my birthday with my hubby and kids. Was looking for a great steakhouse that's around $50-70 each. Last time I had the best steak ever and have literally tried everything from John howie, Ruth Chris etc.. this time was just meh and my potatoes were cold. I told the waitress and she got me more but they were cold too. Service - great they constantly checked on us and asked how everything was.Ambiance- low mood type of lighting and not a lot of space in the restaurant. This time was also SUPER loud but it was fine because in case my toddler started acting up they wouldn't hear. I'm not sure if I want to go back cause first time food was amazing and second on my birthday just wasn't hitting at all.

Made reservations for an early Valentine's Day dinner on super bowl Sunday (I don't care for football so I wasn't aware). They sat us by the door and it was VERY cold every time someone opened the door. It took a bit for our waitress to come get our orders and it seemed like either they were short staffed or behind in the kitchen, but overall, our experience was pleasant.We ordered a glass of wine and their sunrise cocktail. Unbeknownst to us, the wine my husband chose was $20/glass, which is ridiculous when their cheapest bottle was $42, but hey, they had to get us some way. My drink was fruity and more summery than anything else. The starter bread was super hot and really yummy, so we kept ordering more. We heard the specials, which seem to be there daily but not a part of the menu (stroganoff, jambalaya pasta, etc all seen in Yelp pictures). A special dish was scallops in pesto sauce, and we were able to order it as an appetizer. While the flavors and tenderness of the scallops were amazing, the price for 3 was ridiculous ($21), and made us wonder just how much the actual dish would have been.The starter salads were plentiful but forgettable. I couldn't taste Bleu cheese dressing in mine, it was more like umami flavor, which was fine too. Just greens and carrots, nothing grand. Husband got the ribeye with mushrooms and garlic mash and I got the pork chops and added prawns. Mind you, 4 prawns for $18, again, kind of wild to me, especially because they were just by themselves, no dressing or flavor or anything, just lemon. The steak was very tasty, well cooked, and the mash was very tasty. His mushrooms were buttons and while he liked them, the marsala sauce on my pork chops were tastier. Speaking of, my chops were smothered in this and you couldn't find them. It was a bit much but also tasty. The parm potatoes were very good and the veggies were cooked well. The restaurant itself was nice - historic building, darkened ambiance, original bar, no TVs, and no overhead music. The train goes by within a few feet and it's super loud but other than that, it's all cute. Overall, we recommend and will probably return, but plan on bringing an open and willing wallet.

Just ate, late Sunday afternoon, make sure you have a reservation. The service is great, the atmosphere is great, the food is great and served within a reasonable time frame. Will definitely be coming back.
