I was in search for some Wagyu to have my dad try for his 80th birthday.I was in contact with the owner Nick for a while via email and I eventually went into the store. I bought the deal on yelp to save some money and I had no issues using it for my purchase. The guy who helped me I believe was Nick's nephew. He was patient, professional and quite knowledgeable. I ended up getting both the American Wagyu as well as the Australian Wagyu so my dad could try both and compare. They were both quite delicious. Previously my dad had tried the Japanese Wagyu (which was purchased in a different city) which we found insanely good, but probably not something we would buy very often. It's definitely a bit too rich for our palette. The shop had the different kinds and cuts of meats on display. They also DO sell Kobe Beef. (which is quite impressive since I do think there is a standard for places to be able to sell Kobe)If you want to get top notch meat, stop into this shop and take a look.Service: 5/5Ambiance: 4.5/5Food: 5/5

I'm surprised to see a few 1-star reviews. Grabbed two steaks there tonight and went home to have one of the best steaks in my 33 years of life. I have eaten my fair share of steaks over the years. Usually, I don't trust myself to cook expensive cuts at home, but that Australian Wagyu NY steak was mouth-watering from the moment I removed it from the packaging. I can't believe how good it turned out. Thanks for the experience and for making it easy for this San Diegan to get such high-quality meats locally.

First found this place with a little Google search and had to try it! I met with Marc who works at the San Diego location. Marc was very knowledgeable on the product and super nice. I was going for a melt in your mouth type of meat and that's when Marc recommended the Japanese wagyu ribeye. Seared that bad boy for 30 seconds on each side (2x) and applied butter as needed. Woof!!! Was amazing. Anyhow the shop is a small location located in an industrial type plaza near Home Depot. Plenary of parking and easy to find. The shop itself isn't too big but you'll find exactly what you need. I'll def be back.

I had encountered a little hiccups with my purchases. I want to thank Nick, the owner, for the great customer service he provided. I purchased A5 wagyu rib cap and Australian NY steak. The A5 Japanese was amazing. I don't care too much for Australian NY, but my partner does prefer that over the A5 JAPANESE steak. I love the A5 because of the marble of fat in it. It's my first time cooking wagyu steak at home. I'm glad I found a wagyu shop close to home where i can just pick some up. I don't want to spend arm and legs for 3oz at a restaurant and still come out hungry. I would rather come here if I want to feel little fancy with cooking my steak at home!

A meat lover's paradise. A great resource for meat lovers and home chefs. I love to smoke Iberico pork ribs from Spain and usually have to order by mail from a hi end meat provisioner in New York. So glad to find them locally at a very fair price. Their assortment of high end beef is the best I've seen in San Diego, and I've been everywhere. Mostly wagyu from Japan and Australia and a limited amount of prime meats. But a wide range of cuts from sirloin to brisket to tomahawks. It will be good when they bring in more prime cuts as they plan.

They have a great selection of Australian a d Japanese beef. They were very knowledgeable and honest about each cost. Duck fat too! The Rubs are plentiful but we got the truffle salt. The prices are great compared to other local meat shops but this is definitely a unique place.
