The Lunch Box

Outstanding food snd service. Bills Diner is now The Lunch Box Diner. The French Dip was served on grilled bread with gooey melty Swiss cheese! The meat was tender and also cooked to perfection! I love that you can get tarter sauce with your homemade fries! Yum!

I used to love the lunchbox, so thought I'd go and get a good sandwich. Hadn't been to the new spot yet. We waited for about 15 minutes before even being acknowledged... we were just about to leave and they came over with water. We ordered a burger and a sandwich. As we waited, we listened to 4 tables tell the man at the counter how it took 45 minutes for their food, and they were leaving with it in to go boxes. The reason they were told is that they "had to cook he bacon". ? What? Ridiculous. After watching people pour out mad, we were now on the 25 minute mark AFTER ordering, and watching 3 tables who arrived after us, get their food, and a couple to go orders. I said something to him and he said "yours is coming right out". The three people working were like wind up toys running and moving around three different rooms YET not one was on the floor. I kindly said "you NEED a server"...there is absolutely NO rhyme or reason that this distinction junction. Our food was ok... but the wait and anxiety of watching this three ring circus was overwhelming. Definitely not the spot for jury duty people or anyone with a time frame.
