Recommended by a friend, this establishment makes good ol homestyle southern cooking!.My friend and I had the chicken fried chicken special for 16 bucks with teo sides of your choice (we chose green beans and mac and cheese). Everything was fresh and delicious! Chicken. Breast was crispy and hot served with hot chicken gravy. Complimentary biscuits and jam were also served. For dessert we shared coconut cream pie and it was light, fluffy, and not sweet at all. Our server was very friendly and provided that southern hospitality that I expected from the south.

Fantastic! We finally made it here for brunch on the way home from Nashville. The biscuits come piled high and they are delicious! Hot and buttery!! I got their fried chicken, Nashville hot with fried okra and hash brown casserole. We also got their mason jar Bloody Mary. Everything was delicious and I had enough food to bring home with me even.

I'm a Tennessee native, but had never tried this place, until today. I've read rave reviews and was excited to try some southern cooking like my granny used to make. So my cousin and I decided to visit this landmark to celebrate our August birthdays. To say we were excited is probably an understatement, since we had both heard glowing reviews and were told the biscuits were heavenly. Our reservation was for 9 am, and we arrived right on time and were seated promptly, with a warm welcome from the hostess. The aesthetic is pleasing to the eye, and the property itself is gorgeous! Our waitress arrived quickly, asking if we had been before and upon hearing it was our first time, she advised us on some options for breakfast.Unfortunately that is all the good that I can say about this place. We placed our order and waited patiently for it to arrive, which it did pretty quickly, and were treated to four of their " world famous" biscuits served with butter and jam. Now I don't really know what I was expecting them to be, Light and fluffy, dense but airy, crispy edges and a brown top, maybe? What I wasn't expecting was for the Preds to be able to play a four game home stretch with this object that someone, who obviously never had a southern granny get up and make breakfast, while granddaddy got ready for work, declared as a mouth watering Southern biscuit!!! What I was served was NOT what I, someone who grew up on homemade biscuits and tomato gravy, would classify as a Southern biscuit. It was more along the lines of an English scone, in my opinion. Now to the gravy. Biscuits and gravy is an Appalachian dish, that was developed by poor people to feed a group cheaply;therefore it's usually of a thinner consistency, as to be ladled or poured over the biscuits. It should never be the consistency or color of paste, with a flavor to match! But that's what we were served, and it was cold. The country ham was the texture of shoe leather. Again, someone's papa never taught them to fry their ham in Coca Cola, and it shows! The hash brown casserole was so mushy, I couldn't even tell if there were in fact hash browns in it!! And again, served cold! My cousin ordered a sampler platter with sausage patties and bacon. The bacon was undercooked and I don't know where they get their sausage, but she complained about the taste of it, so I sampled it and had to spit it into my napkin! Needless to say, we left most of our food uneaten on our plates and vowed to NEVER to return to this place to eat again! If you are visiting Nashville and want to experience TRUE SOUTHERN food, don't waste your money here!!! Go to the Nashville Biscuit House instead!!! Because it's not a true representation of Southern food! And if you are from the south, and enjoy the food here, you need your Southern card revoked!!! Cause this ain't it!!!

Iconic and active! The Loveless Cafe is a great place for tourists to get the Loveless experience. However, we found the food to be just average. Service was a little above average.I have food sensitivities, including gluten intolerance, so I couldn't enjoy their signature biscuits. But hubby found them to be average. If you're looking for a great tourist experience, this may be it, but we will probably not return when traveling.

I don't get all the hype. The food tastes like it came out of a can. The biscuits and jam were good but nothing I would return for. This is the typical flavorless food that certain southerners enjoy.

Let me start out by saying there was a car wreck on 65 and we were an hour late to our reservation and they still saved a table for us. They called to confirm to make sure we were coming that goes above and beyond and it's amazing service. The biscuits are amazing, they bring them out from the oven pipping hot. Joni took care of us like we were family. We ordered the chicken tenders platter, all dark meat fried chicken, pulled pork and chicken fried steak. Ok here we go. The chicken fried steak was great. The fried chicken stole the show it was hot fresh crispy and amazing. Definitely come here for the food and amazing service

Holy BISCUITS!!This place was recommended by a friend who frequents Nashville, and it did not disappoint. It has a diner feel and wasn't very crowded when we arrived. They gave you a large plate of fresh biscuits with homemade jams... and boy did it not disappoint! They were melt in your mouth, buttery and delicious. I got a fried chicken plate and it was so crispy and delicious! They game me a side of their "hot" sauce and I was disappointed I didn't get it that way.10/10 recommend coming here for a meal. They also have a cute little shop and photo ops.

The Loveless Cafe is everything as advertised and more. Folks come here from miles around just for the biscuits and they are not wrong! Fresh and piping hot served up with three different kinds of jam! You cannot go wrong! Breakfast is served all day with the local favorites marked within the menu. Seriously, make the trip and take a foodie-friendly sit in the home that Loveless built! You will NOT be disappointed!
