The Lost Dutchman

Great staff and a fun time. We're never disappointed when we come. Always consistent and always friendly faces. Food is impressive for a bar. We enjoy their specials and live music nights.

Went here last Friday and had a blast. It was Karaoke night and there was a decent crowd starting around 7:30. I got the southwest chicken wrap and it was yummy! They have good deals on pitchers as well!

Went in on an early afternoon for a pint. For as dead as it was the first bartender avoided Contract and focused on talking to the 2 regulars who had full glasses. Stayed for a pint and left. Ambiance? Strip mall

Several years ago, we happened to try out the Lost Dutchman in Maple Valley. We discovered they had an excellent Chicken Dinner. It was a half of a chicken, well prepared (baked) and seasoned, mashed potatoes and gravy with either a vegetable or salad (don't recall which). We both enjoyed it and would make the trip from south Kent once or twice a month.Then COVID hit and it was off our list as they were closed to indoor/outdoor dining. Last night, our elderly neighbor was at our house and we decided a chicken dinner would be fun so we made the drive.While the chicken dinner was still on the menu, it's now 3 pieces of deep fried chicken, mashed potatoes with a horrible gravy. The waitress wasn't aware salad was supposed to come with the meal so we had to ask.We each had one piece of chicken that was close to raw in the center, the other two were fine.The new dinner was a drumstick, wing and thigh deep fried, NOT a baked half chicken.The gravy was sooooo salty we all tried to scrape it off the potatoes.I'm not sure if our waitress was just having a bad day or if she always has an attitude but it's not the service I would have expected for a restaurant that needs clientele. There were only a few tables occupied on the dinning side. There were customers playing pool and darts.Nobody was wearing masks except for us. Even our waitress wasn't wearing a mask.The men's restroom was not clean, one of the urinals was out of order and covered with black plastic with a vulgar sign indicating we (customers aka 'assh@$%es') were not to use it. If the staff sees fit to address their customers in this manner it's not a place I'm going to frequent.Unfortunately, we won't be going back to The Lost Dutchman.

We've been coming here for close to a decade and love how consistent they are. Always friendly and great service, no matter the night. Their food keeps getting better.Lots do, karaoke, live bands, pool and darts, tournaments, and sporting event showings. They have amazing Taco Tuesdays and 20% of entrees on Wednesday.Check them out. (We love their burgers, pizza, and Mac and cheese).

Best service ever... Get the wings! The place is popping! Great bar... Very friendly and always the best time ever!

We were one of the first people in the place and waitress barely had time for us? Never brought us napkins and we had to ask where our food was? Ummmm we just wanted to support our local business. Will NOT be going back!Server did not seem to careFood was good
