The Lodge Tavern

When I tell you this place was crowded!!! So many people in a tiny space. Really cool space I must add. Definitely a diffferent vibe here. Bartender was excellent!!! Not sure if they serve food, but the beer was good. 3 stars because the place was dirty and crowded. But then again it was a busy bar on a Friday night. Cool history and people watching.

Love the atmosphere! A dog-friendly pub with good beer, and friendly staff. It could be a bit bigger, we weren't to sit down on Wednesday night, but the awesome vibes offered enough compensation. Would recommend!

This is a fun, cozy dive bar in the Gold Coast neighborhood. The bartenders are friendly, beer is cold, and drinks are tasty. I also love coming here around Christmas time where it feels very festive.This is a great stop when you are walking around Chicago!

Fun tavern in downtown? passing the river. I have no idea my direction in downtown Chicago. I was here for the dying of the green river and I was recommended this place. I just followed the crowd from bar to bar and it was so much fun.

Da Lodge. Da Bears, Da Cubs..... Great staff, great drinks - and let's be honest - what other bar is open at 8am on a weekday??

Small Irish bar with a few beer options and free peanuts which, in total, was the highlight. You flick the peanut shells on the floor, chat with your friends and swig your beer. Simple, yet effective. However, disappointingly the two beers that I wanted had issues with the barrels... and with a small selection of taps, I just settled for something random off list.

Popped in yesterday for first time in awhile, and all the old memories came flooding back in. Wonderful place for a pint or two. Great jukebox. Division wouldn't be the same without the Lodge

The Lodge is a great neighborhood bar in the Gold Coast. Excellent beer selection and other drink options. In the summer the windows are open and you can watch the action on division. The Lodge has a superb collection of bartenders. Hannah K is really more of a mixologist, pouring concoctions from PBR to Jamo. A star behind the bar!Best part of the Lodge is that you can bring you dog!

The Lodge Management Group, representing The Lodge Tavern and numerous other venues, was great to work with. I would be remiss if I did not comment on Sophia's help throughout the entire process of selecting the right venue for the private event. She was patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating. Furthermore, she was responsive at all times to assist. As for The Lodge Tavern, I have frequented the bar several times but never had I known how great it would be to host an event. The staff was nice, drinks were great, and the private 'Bullpen' area was exactly what I desired. I plan on returning to The Lodge for future events.

Fun spot and Christmas decorate but is super tiny. Much older crowd too. The free peanuts are good!
