The name describes it well as there are lots of seating options, like overstuffed chairs and couches, besides tables. They are also known for their extensive wine list and self-serve wine wall. The boys had full entrees that were large filling portions of short rib and scampi. Us girls wanted to taste multiple things and shared a few apps like lobster potstickers and bruschetta. We all agreed that the "Amazing Fries" were a hit (and yes, that's really what they're called). We splurged for the optional creamy brie dip and it's what truly made the fries Amazing! We had chosen this dinner spot so that we could slip into the Peacock Room speakeasy for after dinner drinks. I didn't do my homework and it wasn't open that night...but I did get to sneak a peak and can't wait to return.

If you dine out often (and we do) you begin to notice certain patterns. There's "not good," "good," and "very good." But from there, it jumps straight to "through the roof." And this is where The Living Room DC Ranch, Scottsdale, comes into play. And lucky us, we not only found ourselves in a newly discovered restaurant, we also had "Travis" at our table. He genuinely cares about his customers, and it shows. I mean, when is the last time your server not only explained the wine list in vivid (and actually relatable) detail, then shows you a nifty mobile application that allows you to delve further into the details of wines you may enjoy in the future? Or give you a "tour" of the entire restaurant after dinner? Who does this? I keep harping on this in my reviews: You can't train people to "like" customers. It's a "behavior," and not something you can "learn."So, here we go: Genuine, authentic food; more than generous portions (for example, the delicious cheeseboard could easily feed 4 people). Then there's the subtle, romantic ambiance (especially outside) and the hustling, ultra friendly vibe. It all works! It's an easy menu to navigate and everything on it looks tasty (and it probably is very good based on what we saw and heard from neighboring tables). We shared the aforementioned cheeseboard and a sumptuous Strawberry Gorgonzola salad. Both excellent, and more than we could finish. Prices: About $88.00 for two, which included 2 well-made margaritas and a gorgeous 10-ounce glass of Italian Jermann Pinot Grigio. Unless you have an enormous appetite plan on sharing your food choices. I'll stop here. I could go on and on. We'll be returning for sure! Thanks Travis for an outstanding evening!

Came here for lunch and it was the first time I had been to The Living Room. I have always seen the one in Ahwatukee so decided to try it out. Ordered an array of food with family and was really impressed. Service was great and I was shocked they had a full bar. Got a raspberry lemon drop that was fantastic. Definitely recommend and will come back again.

We had a long day of pickleball playing at the Desert Ridge open in Phoenix. All of us were hungry and craving some nice cocktails. We decided to checkout this place. One of my friends knew the owner so it was easy to get us a nice lounge.I ordered manhattan and then some sushi. California roll and shrimp roll. It was so good. They also have speak easy. You have to wait a bit as it's pretty packed. We sneaked in to see how it looks. Staff were very friendly as well. We met the owner who was awesome to talk too. Parking is easy to find in this location. Ambiance was awesome. Can be pretty loud, but we didn't mind it all. Highly recommend this place.

The cocktails here were some of the best we had this week. If you like old fashioneds you will love their big easy which has a splash of coffee liqueur which brings a nice balance to the drink. Very smooth and cravable. The bruschetta 4 ways was good. For me the Chop (with prime rib, Gorgonzola, and creamy horseradish is the hands down winner of the 4). I liked the orchard the least (boring).I would skip the lobster potstickers. Not a great value at 5 for $18. They were made well, and you can taste the lobster but overall the flavors were bland and muted. I thought they could use more salt or a saltier sauce.

We were welcomed into upon entering. Staff are very nice. Comfortable table and chairs or you can choose to sit on the couch with tables. There is also outdoor seating but we thought it would be noisy sitting outside. We decided to choose a meal from the shareable part of the menu. We opted for Thai lettuce wraps, not too spicy. This shareable meal comes with three lettuce wraps. The server asked if we would like to add one more lettuce wrap to the meal to even things out, I agreed to that thinking that was a great idea. The meal arrived shortly after thereafter and was lovely to look at. The taste of the dish was the best! Just a slight bit of spice really added to the flavor of everything. This dish is gluten free. It was hard to hear and have a conversation. Maybe sitting outside was not such a bad idea after all. Very nice service with attentive servers. Large free parking area with WiFi throughout the area.

One of our favorite spots for live music on Sunday, people watching on the weekends and just overall. The service is what stands out the most. We've been coming for years and even though there has been a lot of turnover, everyone is consistently nice and attentive. The menu is large so there is a big selection. We've had most of the items on the menu and everything is pretty good. The only annoying thing is a recent change to their gluten free pizza. It's a $6 up charge which is ridiculous. It used to be $1 or $2 which is standard for most places so not sure where that came from. I just won't be ordering that item anymore and hopefully they will change the price after enough people complain.

Rain and heavy traffic caused us to escape the freeway and head to the Living Room. We were greeted warmly and, initially, a little concerned (it appeared many others had the same idea) but we were led down a dark path into a cozy bar/lounge area with plenty of seating. It was noisy, but a comfy couch, some good wine, and the light from the chandeliers overhead made for a cozy evening. We started with the lobster potstickers. I can say I definitely will NOT share these next time. Perfectly cooked with a creamy filling, they were nested in a yummy sauce I would never get tired of. Absolute perfection! Later, we both had sandwiches. I'd describe them as average. Our fabulous waitress (Kayley) insisted I get the French fries that I usually try to avoid. I'm so glad she twisted my arm! Good wine! Good food! Good Service!

We went to The Living Room this weekend for drinks and appetizers which turned into a dinner as these things do. We were outdoors on the couches and despite it being 60 degrees that night, the heat lamps made things comfortable. I think this is a great place to drop in and get a glass of wine or a cocktail after sunset or mid-shopping.I believe you can only make a reservation if you're a large party, but the two of us had no problem showing up and getting a table on the weekend. For dinner, I had the rainbow roll sushi, which was tasty. My wife had the lobster appetizer and enjoyed a generously sized cup of hot chocolate. The service was great, with three servers who checked on us.A minor downside: the menu leans towards light fare, appetizers, and drinks, with limited options for a full dinner. Overall, it was a good experience with good service and a nice patio and we'll return in a few weeks with some friends.
