The Lipstick Lounge

Lipstick consistently remains as one of the best places to begin or close out a great night on the town. Highlights:-affordable drinks-good cheap bar food-karaoke-inclusive atmosphere -excellent staffHaving finally logged a good amount of hours at Lipstick over the past two years I just want to let everybody who doesn't already know how great a vibe it is & how thankful we should be to have a welcoming & inclusive venue that is still thriving here in Nashville. I've had nights here during the week that were tame & quiet enough to have intimate conversations with friends in between karaoke superstars taking the stage & nights that were absolute ragers with a fully packed house. There are few things as fun as a night spent bouncing back & forth from the bar at Lipstick & listening to karaoke.Special shoutout to Leah who is an excellent bartender/human & always takes great care of everybody!

Service was great, place was packed. Was working in Nashville for a client during the CMAs, the locals were nice enough for definitely being frustrated with all of us out of towners flooding their neighborhood.The place isn't really meant to have that many people inside.

Went there yesterday with a friend of mine and honestly wasn't really impressed many things on the menu from the website they either didn't had it or never even sold it . Waitress/Barmaid was nice but still this bar felt pretty empty and didn't really enjoyed the vibe . Definitely was expecting way much better for the pictures etc .

While visiting Nashville, my fiancé and I had to stop by since It is one of fewer than twenty remaining lesbian bars in the United States.It was a blast; however, we didn't stay for long because we had our team dogs with us. Everyone was very nice and they love petting the dogs.I know on the weekends they do serve brunch but this means that next time we need to stop by on the weekend. Can't wait to come again to Nashville.

The food and service were amazing. We went there with a large group of friends for brunch on a Sunday and the staff were so kind and accommodating.

Went to see Cody Belew performing at Lipstick Lounge. Cody's show was excellent and highly recommend. How can you not like someone who looks like Minnie Pearl and David Bowie had a son. (His words, not mine) and the vibe of Fredy Mercury all together in one.The Lipstick Lounge itself is tiny, and has a primarily lesbian crowd on most days. On the night we attended, with was a good mix of very diverse characters of all types.Have been to Lipstick Lounge a couple of times. Both on evenings with shows, and for weekend afternoon. It's got a diver bar feel. Street parking is available. Safe neighborhood.again this place is tiny and the service is no good at all because in the time we been there no one approach us to offer anything even when u try to grab the attention of servers so we go to the bar and order there.Again this place is tiny,

Amazing atmosphere for karaoke on Saturday night. The manager is the DJ and phenomenal host. I selected the Beast beef boy burger. It was a conquest and well worth the time.

Service long time..it's a bar soo.. decent selection of cigars at the Upper lip ..highly recommend a cigar!

Super fun and tiny little bar with karaoke. There's a huge age range here, and when we arrived around 9PM it was mostly women, but by the time we left a couple of hours later it was a more mixed crowd. The bar can be a couple deep so it looks like a long wait, but the bartenders are fast and friendly so you'll not wait long for your drinks. People are generally pretty friendly and it's easy to move through the heaving crowds. Cash cover at the door.

Great bar! I loved to see all of the fun fashions that everyone has on. Very friendly people and a cute karaoke night going on that people were very into. Didn't get to try the food but the drinks were heavy.
