1. Food was tasty and quantity was good. It came in big trays.2. We had 15-20 mins waiting on weekday. We opted to sit outside, it was a good weather so it was quite pleasant. However, I felt that if you are ordering dinner, the table is quite small. We were just 3 people on 4 ppl table but still we had diffculty. The server cannot walk through lane if carrying food so usually they walk by roadside and then enter near the table. Inside restaurant there is bar and dinning area too.3. Service was good, server came time to time check if we were enjoying food and need something more. Servers have costume.4. For 2 cocktails, 1 coke and 1 appetizer and 3 dinner meals. We got check of $140 (+ tips) I hope this review is helpful. Thank you!

Went here due to the good reviews but we were kinda disappointed.The Fish and Chips were "Meh" and I got the Mac n Cheese and the menu failed to mention it was spicy!!!! Very heavy handed with the Red Pepper Flakes!!!!! I like to enjoy my food not have to take a drink of water after each bite.The did have a Yummy Old Fashion on the drink menu.If you are wanting a good Irish Pub I seen others in the Chicago area that may be a better choice.Sorry

The ambiance is an Irish pub. We were there around 4pm on a Wednesday and the place was lively. There was a huge group soon as you walked in having a drink together. They also had the big soccer game on.Most of the booths were taken. We got one of the last booths and we were greeted soon as we sat down and our order was taken. Soon as our order was taken someone else brought us waters. My honey ordered an Irish Coffee. He thought it was really good and loved the shaved nutmeg on the top.I highly recommend this pub.

The service was horrible, and I've had better burgers at McDonald's. The fish and chips were good. I also had tomato soup or what was called tomato soup. I've had better soup from Campbell's canned soup.

We ended up here on Cinco De Mayo after every Mexican place in Chicago was closing early. The Kerryman has potential however the food was a waste of calories. The servers were all nice and very helpful but the food is over priced and bland at best. The cheese for the pretzel tasted as if it were a prepackaged cheese soup from the grocery store. The bacon jam was disappointing and the mustard was a bit much. The French fries looked delicious but after biting in them I quickly learned they were undercooked. I know some of the other reviews speak highly about this place. We were visiting from out of state and never been to Chicago before. Maybe the food is better on other days. Like I said the Mexican restaurants were closing early on Cinco De Mayo. Welcome to our luck!!!

The food here was DELICIOUS!!! We tried the Irish cheddar burger and the bacon jam burger. Both were amazing, but the bacon jam burger was better!! We paid about $20 per person with tax and tip included, which isn't bad for downtown Chicago. Ambiance was nice, we sat outside and enjoyed the weather. The servers were also great, and although it was a busy Saturday night, they still catered to our needs and made sure we had full water glasses and anything we requested.Definitely give this place a shot if you find yourself wandering the area looking for something to eat!

Nice patio. Not very busy.We ordered and split an Irish cheddar burger and house salad.All food came together.Burger was cooked as ordered and big. Fries were delicious. House salad vinaigrette was very good.Server was a bit slow but seemed to have too many tables. Would eat there again.

We sat inside, because it was a bit too warm out. Even though the place was not packed, it was very loud inside. We got the pretzel and cheese appetizer. Cheese was very watery and unflavorful. The mustard was good and so was the BBQ sauce it came with. Pretzel itself was good, but nothing special. 2 stars because of the watery cheese sauce. My mom got the Smoked Gouda Mac n Cheese. She didn't care for it because she felt the noodles were too al dente. Also it was too spicy for her (she does not like any spice), which was not listed on the menu. 1 star from her on that. On the flip side, I tried it and enjoy the spice, because I like medium spicy-ness. Also I liked the al dente and in fact felt they could be even more al dente for my liking, so to each their own. I rate it a 3.5 star. Could have used more salt. My husband got the fish and chips and they were terrible, 1 star. They were way over-fried so when you break it apart to eat, the fried parts just crack off and fall right off the fish. So then you have to take a bite of fish and then pick up your fried part to take a bite of that, but then it is burnt, so doesn't taste good. I got the shepherds pie. I thought it was average tasting, 3 stars. Nothing was good enough for us to go back.

Kerryman is a decent neighborhood staple. The food is pretty good but not great and pretty overpriced for what you get. What the food lacks the atmosphere makes up for, however. Fair warning it does turn more into a party bar with a DJ on weekend nights. In the warmer months they have lots of outdoor seating surrounded by flowers. It's really quite pretty.

Service is really good! Met and seated right away and server, Morgan, came right to us and very pleasant! Drinks and food ordered with delivery made right away!
