So came back to this place a second time, was sad to see they changed the menu now there is a $7 person up charge for the premium meats like the ribeye. At $38 including the ribeye and flatiron It was acceptable even though it was a bit high considering they don't have a lot of the staples my family loves, but for $45 that's a bit too high, no saying I would not recommend or will not return but it will not replace my usual spot even though it's closer to home. The service was still excellent and the atmosphere is still enjoyable

Visited here with a large group, including my very young kiddo so was sadly not able to take pics. I've been very keenly waiting for this place to open and was so excited to finally be able to try it! The good: I love that you get to serve yourself the banchan, which there was a good variety of and everything was really flavourful. The dipping sauces were similarly available to serve yourself and everything was fresh and tasted as expected. They offer a good variety of meat at a reasonable AYCE price of $38.99/adult, which also includes an in-depth array of appetizers. So you get really good bang for your buck! All of the meat we tried was fresh, quality was pretty decent and what you would expect for AYCE - not the best, but certainly good enough especially for what you're paying for. Their seasoned chicken wings were also tasty. Some hiccups/areas for improvement: Service was extremely slow; it took them nearly 10 minutes to even come to greet us at the door and seat us even though half the restaurant was empty. Flagging someone down to order more food took equally long. I understand they're still figuring things out but it became quite a pain with their "maximum 3 orders of meat only at one time" policy since we had a large group. Similarly, because it's AYCE the portion sizes are a lot smaller. It would have been nice if our server told us at the time of ordering that an order of chicken wings only includes 3 pieces. We had a group of 8 people so we ended up having to wait a long time to get more wings so that everyone could have at least one. My biggest issue is that the restaurant only provides booster seats for little kiddos instead of high chairs. This is a huge safety concern IMO because with there only being booth seating, putting a kiddo in a booster exposes them to a lot of danger with the bbq being in such close proximity. That, and the inconvenience of pretty much everything on the table being in grabbing distance made for a much more stressful dining experience. It's also a liability because with there only being booth seating, the booster seats have nothing to securely attach to in order to keep an older toddler safely seated. I really think they should provide high chairs so that you can securely seat young ones at the end of the booth away from harms way. Aside from some of these major kinks they have to work through, it was a good AYCE dinner and I would definitely come back after they've had some time to get established.

100% recommended! Love the ambiance and decor. It reminds me of a scene you'd see on tv. Almost like a little Korean village scene and there's also a nice wall mural of the squid games cast! We went at an off peak time and day so service was quick for our first visit here (dinner on a Thursday) It's AYCE ( All You Can Eat), which I absolutely love!!! I love the selection of meat and the large variety of menu items to choose from that all comes with your meal. For example, the appetizers, soups, and rice are all included in the AYCE price. Premium meats like short ribs are an extra charge. The ramen soup bar is also an extra charge. They have a self serve buffet of side dishes. For meat all we got was brisket, spicy pork, pork belly, and beef bulgogi. The meat was delicious The only thing is that the spicy pork was a little bland. Spicy, but not flavorful. Either the meat wasn't marinated long enough or they don't add salt. I loved the spam Kimchi fried rice. The corn cheese was sweet and tasted like can corn with cheese. The spicy rice cake tteokbokki had a nice spice level however there was a bunch of onions and other fillers. Fried chicken wings were so crispy and juicy! The doneless or boneless seasoned chicken wings were alright. Must try for sure and we are definitely going back! So happy Smokey point has a Korean bbq spot that is worth going back to over and over again!

Food: The AYCE (all-you-can-eat) Korean BBQ as well as their banchan (side dishes) bar at The K BBQ is *chefs kiss*. Even during their soft opening, they served up premium cuts of meat with delicious flavors.Service: Exceptional. The staff's attention to detail was impressive. They went above and beyond by changing our grill multiple times without us needing to ask.Ambiance: The relaxed open concept and blend of traditional and modern Korean decor at The K BBQ make for a pleasant dining experience. The Squid Game mural adds a fun touch to the overall atmosphere!

I've been watching this place get built and I'm so excited it's finally here. The food was so good, the meat was tender and buttery. Very well seasoned. You get so much food too! I am so stuffed as I write the review. The banchan bar was stocked. Their broccoli salad and fish cake were my daughter's absolute favorite I don't think I've seen her consume so much broccoli. Th staff was so nice and I cannot say enough about how accommodating they were. Going out with a toddler is stressful and when my daughter dropped her bowl on the ground. One of the servers said nothing and just brought us another bowl with small utensils just her size. I thought that was very very nice. My drink cup was never empty, which is important cause I feel like at a lot of kbbq places, and they always forget to fill my drink and I drink a lot of water when I eat kbbq and I always have to ask a few times, I didn't have too here and that was great and big points for me. Overall. 10/10 experience. I'm excited to come back with my friends and family.

This place is just very mid. Its just your typical KBBQ place with just average meats and ban chan (nothing was super flavorful). For the basic AYCE the meat selection is very minimal (if you want to pay $7 for the premium beef like kalbi) but the chuck flap and ribeye is also included in the upcharge. The only beef you get is brisket, spicy brisket and bulgogi. Also the pork belly was mid. They definently try to fil you up with the appetizers (teokbokki was average, fried chicken was average) and man, the soft tofu soup just didn't taste right. Service was ok.Honestly you're better off going somewhere else for KBBQ, just wasn't worth it.

Good food; selection for sides is good and it's buffet style. There's different kimchi. The leeks kimchi was delicious. The menu offers many choices including shrimp, calamari, veggies, and etc. there's also a ramen station. The ambiance is very Netflix Korean there's a gigantic squid game mural. The setting is nice. They really designed the place well. As for service, they can do better. It's understandable. They just opened. There's definitely room for improvement. My family enjoyed our experience there. We've been there twice and will be heading back soon. Two thumbs up

I am so excited that this place finally opened!! We've already been here twice and I cannot recommend enough that for $40 all you can eat BBQ plus side dishes is such a great value! The way they styled the entire restaurant to look like Korea back in the 50's-60's is also just so awesome. All the staff have been super attentive coming by every little bit to see if we want to order anything or need refills. This is already becoming a regular spot for us
