Great views of the city, lake, and park here. Drinks were good. The staff was friendly. Nice place to sit and grab a drink on a rooftop!

Mediocre at best, please take your money to another rooftop in Chicago and let me tell you why. First off, it is very nice up there but there is not even much of a skyline view of Chicago based on how the building is situated, but that is not a dealbreaker. However, what is a dealbreaker is the fact that we showed up during opening, and half of the menu isn't even available because it's not fully prepped yet. If you call yourself a fine establishment, shouldn't everything on your menu be prepped for opening time at 11am on a Saturday? Despicable. However, it gets worse...The service was subpar, it took a very long time for things to be ready which made us late for our afternoon baseball game, and the food was very average as well. Also, they overcharged us a salad which we explained to them and they kindly took away, but charged us for it on our tab! With how late we were for the game, I did not see it as worth it to use another 15min of our time to call them over and demand a refund. Please avoid this place, and take your business to a better rooftop.

Worst server ever!Even if you have view but a rude server you won't like it, would you? We visited the place on April 6th 2024 around 1pm. After reaching the rooftop, we were greeted fine with the person at the entrance. After being seated, our server was rude and lied. He had attitude problem with us. He wanted us to leave the seat and go sit somewhere else. Let me tell you we hadn't occupied a bigger couch than the number of people we were. He probably wanted the girls who started talk to him soon after we sat, he comes back to us and said you can't sit here, it is reserved. On which I asked him what time is the reservation. He didn't have an answer. I don't remember at what point but he rudely said "No". On which went inside asked the gentleman at the entrance if we can still sit where we are sitting point him to our place and asked if there is any reservation. He gently replied that it's perfectly fine sitting where we are currently seated. After getting back to the seat, he still had attitude problem. This two star, isn't counting the slow service because I understand people want you to slow down at place with good ambience.

An amazing Chicago rooftop! I love that it is a speakeasy as it gives that exclusive vibe since it is above a hotel. It has such a gorgeous wide view of the lake. The food and cocktails were so good. They had a gluten free bun which was so nice for the burger! The service was friendly and quick. Highly recommend checking this out in the Lincoln Park area!

The J Parker rooftop is a fun gathering spot. Beautiful views. The servers are amiable and attentive. The food and drink menu has limited options but is tasty. The side DJ was great, yet the music was way too loud to converse with my group.

I want to give this place a good review (look at my drink and this view!!!) but I cannot. Our party of 5 sits down at 7:15 and orders drinks relatively quickly. Server comes back to take our orders but we aren't ready. She doesn't come back until 8:15 pm when we order. By 8:50 our food isn't out yet and we ask the manager. He goes to check. Server comes back at 9 and says it'll just be a few minutes and apologizes. Manager comes over a few minutes later and apologizes and says they'll definitely comp some of our meal. Food comes out at 9:25 pm (And they forgot an item, but that's literally the least of our worries). Couldn't even see what we were eating it was so dark out at this point. When we get the check, they only comped 15% of the meal and already added a 20% tip because we were a large group. Check took awhile too and we weren't able to leave until 10 pm. Food was average. Drinks were too expensive. Dress is casual.

While visiting Chicago, I easily made a reservation on OpenTable. Our party came a bit early and the team kindly accommodated us. We were seated at a high top table outside.My boyfriend and I got espresso martinis, which were a bit stronger than I anticipated but hollaaaaa. The cauliflower wings were crispy (wish they were spicier though) and the blue cheese dipping sauce paired well. We also split a Cesar salad, which was enough for two!

The J Parker is a great spot to bring people from out of town, especially in the summer when you can walk outside to the patio! I love that you can see the lake and the zoo (zoo lights!). It's a great rooftop option if you don't want to go all the way downtown. But make sure to make a reservation because they can get busy! I've had drinks here before, but this was my first time trying dinner. The menu is pretty small but there were some veggie options. I ordered the goat cheese salad. I absolutely loved the goat cheese and candied pecan combo! Also, the salad was huge! My friend ordered the buffalo cauliflower, which was okay. The flavor was good but the tempura coating was thin and not crispy. They had a happy hour, which I would definitely come back for. I don't know if it's where we happened to be sitting but it was chilly at our table. I know it's a rooftop but it's enclosed! It shouldn't be that cold!

Such a fun drink rooftop spot!! I didn't try the food but it looks super expensive IMO.
