Note: I don't eat raw oysters, so the review is purely based on other dishes - The calamari appetizer is very good. Crispy and flavorful - Ceviche appetizer is 4/5, compared with Peruvian restaurants Ive been to. - Scallop is 4/5. There is a slightly weird flavor. - Smore Pana Cotta: 5/5!

Hidden off Harvard square easy to miss but tasty seafood. Came here for lunch and had Oysters free of sand and very tasty. 5/5 lobster bisque for only 12 bucks had a respectable amount of tender lobster and greet overall flavor.. 4/5 swordfish tacos. Good portion of blackened tender swordfish. Good flavor 4/5Blood orange triffle - good god. Giant portion. But tasty 4/5Mikes pasty is next door so id imagine a lot of people go there for dessert I have that all the timeI would def come here again, and when you take price into account with good portions and solid food I would give this place a 5/5.. And since it's on a side street I would recommend eating outside.

Came here for our first meal in Boston after a long day exploring nearby Harvard. Located just across the street from the university, Hourly seems to be a great place for a drink and some bites after class. The inside is decorated with 2 (?) giant bars, mosaic tiles on the floor, and huge mirrors. We ordered: - Hush puppies - super heavy with a nice crunchy outside and cornbread-y fluffy inside. It came with a chili honey butter that it had a nice kick to it! It came as 6 pieces and was more than enough for the two of us to share. - Oysters (one of each that was offered that day) - these were a little small, and just about each one had pieces of shell or grit, which made the experience less than enjoyable. However, taste-wise I really enjoyed them. - Hourly double smash burger - this was for the non-seafood eater and was a basic but juicy burger. The SO ordered it with a side salad and it was just spring mix with a balsamic vinaigrette. - Lobster roll - SOOO juicy and meaty. This was my first ever legit lobster roll and it was pretty amazing. I did, however, find a piece of shell at the halfway point. But still. Big pieces of lobster stuffed in a buttery toast. Service was great, our drinks were always filled up and we were checked on multiple times. Overall a great first meal, and it was conveniently located next to famous Mike's Pastries for dessert!

Very cute restaurant with both indoor and outdoor seating. It was pretty empty on a Saturday night around 9. We were seated right away without a reservation. Service was friendly but rather slow especially given the fact that they were no where near busy. Food was ok overall, mussels were delicious but the few I had, had sand in them. The calamari were good but portion size was small given the price, which was $3-4 more than most places and more than half of the plate was peppers. Lobster roll was ok. Overall didn't live up to the reviews.

Came here with a large group of friends and the kind waitress promptly seated all of us together even though it was a busy night and we forgot to make reservations! Highly recommend the house specials including the clam chowder (which had wonderful chunks of fresh clam and potatoes!) and the lobster roll (super generous chunks of juicy lobster and a wonderfully toasted bun). All of us thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service was fantastic. We will be back here again on our next trip to Boston!

What a delicious dinner! Such a cool classy coastal bar feel and great attentive service. The food was phenomenal. My friend and I got the grilled salmon and scallop risotto entrees and some oysters. The drinks could use some improvement, but were still good. The sangria was a little watery, the orange Negroni was fine, and the aperol spritz was a little watery also. Definitely could be the hot weather, but it was a chill temp inside. Besides the drinks, will absolutely come back for the food!

We had a great time sitting at the bar for dinner. Super friendly and helpful staff. Great raw bar choices (oysters + clams), tuna tartare was delicious, enjoyed the scallops and burger as well. Would pass on the chowder next time because the bacon was overpowering. Great vibe. Would definitely return for date night.

Came here for dinner (made reservations) and got seated at the Oyster Bar which was a fun view to see all the different oysters get shucked. For two, we got the fried oysters, clam chowder, a few different East Coast oysters and a lobster roll. The lobster roll is a heavier dish as expected so I'm glad we just got a few smaller starters to share. Everything was delicious, our server was very friendly and attentive even on a busy evening, lively ambiance, and the restaurant is located in a convenient area!
