The Hearth House

So glad that I finally made it to this bar after living in the neighborhood for so long. I'm also very glad that I came in with a regular who knew a person or two as this has a very "locals" feel to it. First thought that ran through my head was that it was much bigger than I had expected it to be. I didn't even make it to the other side of the bar, which is also sizeable. Service was quick and there were a few folks playing pool on one of the two tables that I saw, (there may be more) and it had a nice outdoor space for patrons to go to for a quick smoke or two. Prices were average and the people were friendly, and for that, what more can you really ask for in a neighborhood bar?

Came here on a Saturday night at 10pm. The crowd was already starting to get lit with karaoke. It didn't feel like a bar where it was a bunch of locals which was a relief because being in those crowds can be hard to navigate. But there were definitely a few people that the bartender knew that got served over me and my homie as we were sitting by the bar with my dog. But after they fell over and were escorted out by security, the bartenders did pay attention to us more. It looks like they just split the bar into two sides with one side being served by one and the other served by the other. They said my dog was okay but he barked once because he was excited with all the clapping from the karaoke and the bartender threatened to kick us out because patrons were afraid. Even though everyone was coming over to pet my dog. Didn't eat any food here. Just alcohol. The beer selection was okay. Nothing special. Your bud lights. Mango carts. 805s. Etc. The mixed drinks were strong. There is a back patio and two pool tables.

Great staff, excellent drinks and a lively atmosphere. Great dive bar.Highly recommended.

Nice place to kick it . Bar prices are perfect ! Might need some food items . Maybe the best place to be on a Friday night .

Great dive bar with friendly staff and patrons. Halloween costume contest was fun. Excellent craft beer selection. Will return.

Dive bar!!!A group of friends were meeting here for someone's birthday. It's a bit of a drive for me (my friends neighborhood)Parking was not easy because there were a lot of people here on that night (not sure if that's usual)Bar is huge with tons of seating.There is an outdoor back patio and another one in front. I took advantage of these spaces because I felt a bit warm inside Bathrooms were ok .. well maintained but needed some cleaning. Large bar in center Two pool tables on one side of BarDance floor on other side of bar I stuck with canned seltzers because it was loud and bartenders were busy so I didn't want deal with talking to them about getting a mixed drink. Prices were reasonable. Everyone in our group loved this place. I imagine we will return. Hopefully it won't be as packed as last time.

Best time at hearth house thanks to Katy. She is super sweet, kind, and down to earth. She makes the best mixed drinks ever. Thank you Katy for making my time at the bar so much fun.

Best night ever! DJ Wet Carrot brought the house down. We love Dante & KevinStaff was wonderful and took great care of us and made sure we were safe and had a fun time! We felt very special celebrating a bachelorette here and would 100% go back!

Second place in SD I found that restricts the jukebox. Scared of a little Hip Hop?!?!? Silly to restrict your patrons
