$50. Fuck Halal guys. Wasn't even good. Definitely not worth it.
Gyro platter with olives and jalapeños, no rice. Keto-ish and very yummy.

Large chain restaurant. Food is good. I am not Halal by any means and enjoy it tremendously. Their hot sauce packs a punch. Service is always solid here, people have been friendly. Parking is easy despite the garage, it's free for up to two hours. Overall, solid. Would recommend.

-good portion size-meat can be inconsistent sometimes; sometimes it's good sometimes it's dry -it's my go-to if I want meat and rice

Having recently some amazing shawarma from Toronto, I realize that Halal Guys does a standard, yet good job with their food. It is nothing to write home about, but will get the job done when you are craving some gyro. The process is fairly simple in the fact that you order a base and then build upon it, like you would at a Chipotle. It's very easy to get sucked into building a rice bowl, at least, for me it is. I always get their two meats, I find that doing this is a good deal, and I get their chicken and gyro meat. The toppings you can add without a surcharge are very limited, and honestly don't add anything to the meal. When you add lettuce and tomato, they create a salad on the side that I find hard to mix. Between green peppers and onions, I always add onions, which come raw and leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth. Hummus, baba ghanoush, and even jalapenos come with a slight fee.In the end, they load up your bowl with garlic sauce and hot sauce upon request. This is The Halal Guys' best feature, they just keep adding the garlic sauce until you say "when". I find that their garlic sauce is what brings everything together, I'm glad they aren't stingy with that. To top it off, they add some pita bread. The pita can be inconsistent, I received wet and undercooked pita and that was a bit disappointing (no the sauce did not make the bread wet, it was already wet). The food itself is pretty good, I think their meat is tasty. I would really love to just do rice, meat and garlic sauce, but my health would certainly take a toll from that approach. However, that is simply the best combination. Location-wise, Halal Guys is in a good spot. There's free parking and it's in an area that can get lively during the day. Eating at Halal Guys has not always been the best. They seem to always have the bathroom closed or some drink machine out of order. I guess it's best to grab your food and go!

I had been to The Halal Guys in Chamblee, and had a good experience. Today during lunch was the first time coming to the Dunwoody location, which also turned out to be a good experience.Entrance to the retail parking garage is right off of Hammond. Parking is free for the first two hours. The Halal Guys is just a short walk through the parking garage, up a set of steps, through some doors to go outside, a right turn, and through the entrance doors and you're in the store! Actually, once you walk up the steps and go through the first set of doors, you can look to the right and see into The Halal Guys through the clear glass.R and I walked through the front doors and were immediately greeted by both of the employees behind the counter. We were the only customers in the store at the time. I ordered a beef gyro sandwich, which is served with lettuce, tomato and a pita wrap. The employee making my sandwich asked me if I wanted hummus on the sandwich. I was ready to say yes, assuming that I was being offered something that was included with the sandwich. I asked, "Does hummus come with the sandwich?" The employee stated that it didn't, and it would cost extra. Ok, I understand the upselling of items, but if you're going to ask the customer if he wants something on it, state whether or not there's an uncharge for it. After that employee tried that with me, I wold him that I only wanted its that come with the sandwich, and nothing extra. I got some spicy red sauce that added some heat (yes - no charge).Overall, the ingredients in my sandwich were fresh and delicious. I would definitely get the beef gyro in the future. We both ended up eating inside. Not only were there lots of tables, the entire dining area was clean! The soft drink dispensers were self serve, and the area was also clean and not sticky. I liked that there were brightly colored (red and yellow) and eye catching scenes painted on the walls that illustrated that The Halal Guys started business as a food cart in NYC at W 53 St and 6th Ave.The amount of food in the sandwich left me satisfied. I will definitely return.

I needed a place to grab a quick bite for lunch and wasn't in the mood for typical fast food options. I happened to come across to The Halal Guys and I'm glad I did. I was able to get in/out within about 15 minutes. The service was great as the gentleman behind the counter walked me through each step (almost like the process at Subway). I went with the gyro combo with beef and falafel. The portion was generous, and I found myself unable to stop eating it all!

Ordered on a whim and the food did not disappoint at all. Late night order on a Friday night, service was quick and food was fresh. We got bowls which came with rice, lettuce, tomato and meat. The beef gyro and chicken meat was flavorful and tender. The portion was huge and the white sauce was everything! The hummus 10/10! Ohhhh and the hot sauce, if you can't handle heat don't even try it but if you can, it's amazing!

The menu is the same as an halal guys, so no surprises. The location was very convenient for me. There is parking available in the gated lot right behind the store. Two hours free parking. The store was well kept and I can tell that this place got a lot more pick ups and delivery orders than walk in when regular businesses nearby are not open. All their food was fresh.

I had a very sub-par experience here on a Friday evening while in town for a conference. Employees were very friendly and we saw several people come in for pick up orders that really raved about the food. But I don't understand the hype. I got a large platter with half chicken and half falafel, with a side of baba ghannouj and of course some of the white sauce everyone was talking about. The chicken was grilled but had no flavor at all. Falafel was over fried. I think it was cooked prior to our arrival and then refried? So the platter of chicken, falafel, and some raw veggies really had no flavor. I added some of the white sauce but it just tastes like mayonnaise. My friend and I were both confused as to why people were raving about it. Finally, I didn't like the flavor of the baba ghannouj. It's usually a go-to order for me but I didn't finish it. My friend got the hummus and it was actually really good. Overall, it kinda felt like a meal I would have prepared for myself as I was learning to cook in college, which is not a compliment. The ingredients seemed decent enough but the final product was not good.

Clean and friendly staff. This was my first time trying the place and I don't really get the hype. I wasn't a fan of the chicken, maybe that is how it's supposed to be, I am not sure. If I were to get it again I'd get the beef platter or maybe try the beef gyro with the white sauce and some more hot sauce on the top (I only had one pack :( )When you sign up on the app it gives you a free side and drink with your purchase. That is how I ended up with the side of hummus, not really a fan, it was bland to ME. However, I'm not opposed to trying something different next time.

Always good and fresh with the taste of the Middle East. I always get the gyro platter with no rice and make a huge salad out of it. Highly recommended!
