The Guild Cafe

The service here is fantastic. Fast, knowledgeable and always with a smile. The food was better than expected. Not five star dining, but better than a lot of the hotel food we've had while traveling. Recommendation to the hotel: post a current menu online or via your QR code so we know what we're working with before we get to the restaurant.

I'm not sure The Guild Cafe needs a separate listing as I posted a bunch of info on The Guild Hotel's Yelp page. But it's here, so I'll expand on what I ate here:Breakfast burrito - Amazing! Not sure how and why, but it was. $15Smashburger - Perfect! No notes! $21 for a singleSteak frites - Didn't enjoy the sauce, so had it a second time without the sauce and it was much better. $34Cacio e pepe - Way too much pepper, did not enjoy. $22Chicken artichoke panino - It was OK but I wouldn't get it again. $18The coffee beans are Intelligentsia and their coffee is some of the best around. Don't even need to leave the hotel for a cup. Even the batch brew they put out in the morning is outstanding.

This was convenient. We had to spend $35 for the day anyways, so we chose to eat breakfast here. We got the French toast and the steak & eggs. Nothing special with the menu. Our food was okay. The service was good. The hotel itself is super cute.

I came for Brunch and sat outside on the terrace. I had the breakfast burrito, which in itself was huge, and I had plenty left over. Service was friendly-ish, albeit a little confusing, as I'm not sure if we had a dedicated server, or it was just multi-server. We were asked multiple times about whether we ordered, what we wanted to drink, and what we wanted to order. The bar area inside is really cool and has a cool vibe when the weather isn't as amenable to dining outside.

We had an amazing brunch here at The Guild. The ambiance of the historical space while modernizing it in a tasteful way is so well done. Our server Taylor was accommodating and so kind--we can't thank her enough for making our visit memorable! Great food and great vibes. We can't wait to be back soon. Thank you Taylor!

Excellent relaxed feel in the restaurant courtyard. Service was slow for basics like taking orders, refilling drinks and food arriving. Even when fewer customers were there to be waited on. Food was good, French fries great portions a little small.

I had an incredible experience at Guild Cafe! The açaí bowl was superb, and the complimentary almond croissant was a delightful surprise. The cappuccino with oat milk was the perfect pairing. The convenience of having a cafe just an elevator away made my stay at the hotel even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

Taylor Boshard made our morning. My partner and I had an exceptional brunch experience. She attended to our every need, and kept our water glasses and hearts full. We will certainly be returning thanks to her conscientious service.
