4.5! Great little hidden lunch spot. Amazing steve steak sandwich. Paired great with the jalapeno aioli. We also got the combo bento. Bulgogi was delicious and flavorful but chicken was a drier than I would have liked. Ginger dressing for salad was bomb. Will be back again to try the alpha salad and other items on menu. Plenty of parking here!

My work ordered us some food from The Grillery. I think this is the sister restaurant of Teriyaki Grill down in Chula Vista. Anyway, I ordered the Steve Steak Sandwich. That seems to be the go-to item to get. And now I know why. The Steve Steak Sandwich is delicious. The steak is cooked medium rare and the torta bread is toasted to perfection. I really like the chimichurri sauce. Its garlicky and fresh. I feel like if they added arugula or a spring mix, it would complete the sandwich. This is a great place and I'm looking forward to trying more items on the menu.

Bomb.Steve's steak sandwich is what you need in your life. Perfectly shaved beef with that chimmi and the fries are great too.

The Steve's Steak SandwichThis is a flavor-packed sandwich! The steak is super tender and the chimichurri has a good amount of garlic! Has a nice spicy kick to it that helps cut through the oils in the chimichurri, and all wrapped up in a nicely toasted torta! The seasoned fries also just makes it a great sidekick to the sandwich. My personal suggestion? Wish it was bigger because it's so bomb!! Definitely recommend this spot for a quick lunch!

However, their signature dish (Steve's Steak Sandwich) is strictly Latin American, definitely not Asian in any way. It's honestly a strange menu. Also keep in mind they are only open during weekday lunch hours, and they will be busy due to the large company campuses in the area.Steve's Steak Sandwich - Flavorful, great texture, and a little spicy, the steak sandwich here is amazing. A nice helping of medium to medium rare steak, chimichurri sauce, and toasted torta buns make a great sandwich. It's a perfect size for lunch and comes with a side salad or fries. The sides are nothing too special but that's okay.Knucklehead Sandwich - Tastes pretty good, though there's something about the bulgolgi that doesn't taste right to me. It's also very messy with the sunnyside up egg inside, so it's not ideal for a work lunch.Banh Mi - They used to have Banh Mi, I don't see it on the online menu so maybe they stopped selling it. But anyway it was just okay, not the best Banh Mi in the area though, the local Pho shops offer better ones.Teriyaki Salmon Bowl - Pretty plain as a whole, but the teriyaki salmon tastes great. Simple, easy, and healthy lunch.Docked a star for service since their online ordering system feels old and slow, and sometimes when I've tried ordering it just bugs out and doesn't go through. Never eaten in the store so I can't speak for dine in experience, but also the cashier isn't the most welcoming or friendly usually when you walk in. Also limited hours. Overall a great option for lunch if you're in the area, but if you're from out of town it will be hard for you to find time to visit.

First, has a sign on the door that says their POS is down. They proceeded to write in Piece of Shit on the sign.Second, my wife and I were waiting for our food and could hear the owner / cook talking shit about other customers that were waiting in the restaurant. Even after being called out, he continued to say that his food is so great that he didn't care what people think about what he says.I've got news for this Asshole; his food was not good at all. He couldn't even get the fries right. They were extremely undercooked to the point that half of them were raw and cold. I would compare the sandwich to a sandwich from a hospital vending machine. This Son of a Bitch really needs an additude adjustment. Wish I could give zero stars!

One of my favorite lunch spots around work! Everything I've tried on the menu has been delicious! You can call your order in ahead of time if you want to avoid the wait... the staff is always super friendly and helpful! Both of the sandwiches are great... the bowls are awesome too! Definitely worth trying if you are in the area and looking for a good lunch spot!

I don't normally leave reviews and I don't normally eat steak sandwiches but this is one of the best I've ever had. Shaved thin it basically dissolves in your mouth. The bread was toasted perfectly and the chimichurri was perfect. Get this sandwich

The grilled salmon bento box is outstanding! I love the crispy skin, salmon is better than most places I've eaten. It's a delicious healthy lunch with 2 potstickers for appetizer and a nice salad. They're very generous with the salmon and this is now my favorite go to place whenever I'm in that part of Poway, I highly recommend The Grillery!
