The Greater Good

My neighbor and I take walks weekly and stumbled upon Greater Good I knew they took over the Noble Fir space but hadn't paid a visit so we decided to try them yesterday after our weekly walk. They had their soft opening about four weeks ago and the grand opening was about two weeks ago. Love the aesthetic of the space it photographed so beautifully made me wish I had my camera with me. My neighbor ordered a glass of rose $12 and I had the Beet Nik cocktail $13. We both had a Deluxe Dog full beef I had mine the way the menu said with mustard, relish and fried onions my friend wanted ketchup and no relish, we split the tots $5. Small menu but what was on it looked good the other items from memory on the menu were Humus and Asparagus, a burrata prosciutto salad with arugula and a shredded pork verde sandwich. The hotdog buns were nicely toasted and it was really a good dog.I loved my cocktail.There were two front of the house staff working and they were both friendly and fun to talk to. Would definitely bring friends. The owners also own Underbelly in Pioneer Square I'm told which makes me want to visit Underbelly.

This is a lovely place with a great menu, great vibe. I'd passed this place a few times curious of some of the weirder things on the menu like the ramen hot dog and then finally came in today because it looked like business was slow on a Tuesday night -- perfect for a writer like me. Ramen hot dog delivered and the drink menu is also hard to choose from it looks so good. I settled on a Pera Bianca -- cocchi Americano, pear brandy, and dry vermouth -- and it was delicious. Just what I wanted because vermouth drinks remind me of the summer I had in Spain once! And boy I hadn't had much to eat before I came in so this one drink immediately got me pretty buzzed. I do want to bring people back here to try some of the other drinks I was tempted to get. The food menu is pretty affordable and yummy too. This hot do was just $9 and there a $12 pulled pork I want to try next time.

I stopped in last weekend for a post dinner cocktail and was very impressed. We tried three of the house cocktails and each one was better than the last. The server was super friendly and we ended up hanging out for a while. Would highly recommend the cimarosa (aka holiday in a glass), catamaran or moonbeam levels if they are still on the menu. Will be sure to try some of the other beverages on the current menu or new concoctions the bar manager creates next visit.

Really fun and great place to relax and enjoy an excellent drink. The vibe is laid back in the best way possible

The bartender named "Stewart" is unstable and violent. He interjected in conversations he wasn't apart of and then literally screamed at us when we asked him to refrain from interjecting. To which he responded by threatening my friends, grabbing a full drink and throwing it across the bar! And then kicking us out of "his bar". I called the cops as he continued to harass my friends, and we walked out of the bar only for him to follow us, and then continue to harass us on the street claiming it was his bar and we violated his rights (?). He was clearly inebriated and extremely violent. He should never be allowed to work in the service industry.

The bartender was extremely rude and disrespectful.My girlfriend and I were looking into the bar to grab food, but there weren't many people in there and many places on the block were closed.So we asked him politely if they were still open and he yells with an attitude "obviously!" Then went to his buddies who were eating and said "I hate when people ask that question."And then we asked "we can sit anywhere?" And he paused, looked at us and said "uhh yeah." My girlfriend and I really didn't like his attitude, so we left immediately.I went back there and talked with the bartender telling him how rude he was to my girlfriend, but he did not take any accountability whatsoever. Even the manager who was sitting next to him just sat there and watched and didn't say anything as we were arguing.He just said that he was "sorry you got offended," like it was my problem for how I was feeling, and that he hates when people ask him stupid questions... even though I'm sure that's a very common question. The whole interaction really threw off our whole night as we were just trying to be nice and courteous as to not be the ones coming in as they were closing. But the bartender was extremely impolite and very disrespectful.I honestly have no idea why this place still does business with these kinds of people working there.

Bartender was outside on a smoke break and we sat around for a while in an empty bar. When he came in he seemed disappointed to have any customers, and he said it was "rude" that we came in with an empty Salt and Straw cup. So we left.What a weird experience. Disappointing since we were looking forward to a new bar in the neighborhood.
