The Graystone Tavern

My partner and I plus a friend came here after the 2024 Pride Fest as it was a short walk away from the event and we needed to 1) get away from all of the craziness and expensive covers at bars, and 2) we really needed to eat lunch. We came here hoping for some good food with some drinks and we really enjoyed our experience overall. The place got really packed over the course of our time here with more people who had the same idea as us. With that came slower service and our server forgot a few things and mixed up our drinks but she was really nice and it didn't affect our experience all too much. My friend ordered a burger and my partner and I split an appetizer. We got pretzel bites and 1/2 pound of jumbo fried shrimp and everything was actually so good! We were impressed. After a bunch of drinks and food, the bill was pretty up there in price as expected.My only two complaints was that the bouncer guy at the beginning was a little weird and didn't make us feel exactly welcomed when he sat us. Secondly, it took forever for us to pay to get out of the place because the bartender/servers were inundated with people. They also were vaping behind the counter and not showing enough urgency when they were so many people waiting to order drinks and also customers at tables waiting on food, service, etc. I figure coming back here on a less busy day would be the best idea. Can't imagine what it's like during Cubs games. Yikes

If you are a university of Washington fan, this is the only spot in the city to watch the games! The back half of the tavern is reserved for the watch party. Despite the large crowds, the small staff make consistent rounds and took care of everyone at the bar as well. Very impressed with the service.During the holidays, the place is decked out for Hanukkah as well, with dradles and blue/silver decor.

My friend and I stopped by to watch the Chelsea v. Manchester game around 2pm on a Thursday.I thought the overall bar had a very friendly atmosphere filled with people who are passionate about football!There were plenty of open tables when we walked in and the waitstaff were quick to come around and were super friendly as well.We both ordered a diet coke and I got the honey butter chicken tenders with a side of curly fries. I thought that the chicken was a bit dry, but the sauce that came with it was super good. Probably the best part of the meal.The curly fries were good as well and cost an extra $3! The serving sizes are a bit smaller than what you'd expect, but I was definitely full by the end.I would definitely come back for the friendly service and fun atmosphere!

Staff is very friendly and food is very good. I always order a smash burger with curly fries. Don't have a pic but next time I go I will post one!!!

Solid bar. Good drinks and good food! Nice because it is couple blocks away from Wrigley Field. They have a juke box which is cool but it only plays like 1 minute of the song you choose. Normally most Juke boxes play the full song. The service was so so. I think they were understaffed. We asked our waitress for a menu and a water 3 times when ordered our beers. Never ended up getting the menu or water. They ran out of chicken wings(tried to order 12 wings). We got the last 6 wings in the restaurant.

We came here before the Cubs game and had a great experience! They have many indoor tables as well as a spacious outdoor back patio which was adorable!Everyone at my table ordered chicken tenders with fries and I tried the wagyu sliders which were SUPERB. There were 3 in the order and each came on a pillowy and perfectly buttered and toasted brioche bun and was topped with perfectly caramelized onions and a delicious burger sauce. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the whole meal was juicy and delicious. Would absolutely come back just for those sliders!! I would also have to add that the sweet potato fries were not worth it.

Came here last night with my boyfriend and a buddy to watch the Cubs and Dolphins. Great ambience for a Sunday night, didn't know this was a Vikings bar! Great prices for beers/ciders. We ordered the blackened chicken nachos and chicken tenders with tots. The nachos were a hefty serving for the price and very tasty. I was honestly surprised for bar nachos! Typically bars, just throw bland chicken breast on their nachos, but this chicken was very juicy and seasoned well. Tenders seemed like they were hand breaded and the ranch might've also been homemade. Bartender came over to check on our table frequently, which was appreciated. We had a great time and stuck around after the games for a few rounds of Uno. Great vibes, will definitely be back!

This was our very first stop in Chicago while awaiting check in for our Air BnB. This is right down the street from Wrigley, and get quite crowded around games. We enjoyed our time here. We had great service, terrific beers, and met some great people! Would definitely be back!

I ordered via Uber tonight and it was my first experience with this place. Despite the Uber driver kicking butt and getting my order to me in record time, the impossible burger was burned, the lettuce was wilted and disgusting. I had to throw it out. 2 stars because the cheese curds were completely on point. Not enough for me to recommend or order again. Soooo disappointed. Please get some QC going in the kitchen.

DO NOT ORDER: ESPECIALLY ON A THIRD PARTY APP LIKE UBER EATS!!!!!!!!! I got a house salad, paid extra for a protein (so like $14 all together)... i literally got a handful of lettuce. they suck for this. id give zero stars if i could.
