Hot and spicy garlic nudes - rich umami just enough heatMy favorite cocktail was the clarified colada - perfectly executed, a lot of body to it, balanced. I love this place

Make a reservation! Save yourself the hassle and time and just make a reservation. Luckily, my friend, husband and I were able to sit at the bar on Friday night. But the list of people waiting outside was long. The space was pretty small and dark and there was a smell that was pretty off putting. The smell lingered throughout the space and we couldn't get past it. It was also hot inside, which didn't help the ocean-musty smell. The drinks were okay. They're aesthetically pleasing but they didn't taste very good. Of all the bars in PB, this one is a pass for the future.

Drinks weren't too impressive in terms of variety compared to other speakeasies. We had a party of 6 and some of the drinks had the same/similar notes (but yes we all got different drinks). Our waitress essentially ruined the experience. Sent 1 drink back and she had forgot to put it in so waited over half a hour for nothing. As we looked around, other's who ordered the Lava & Ice (their fire drink), their hostess lit it up their drinks with shaking cinnamon over the fire. When we got our 2nd Lava & Ice, we asked does this get lit up more and she said "yea, we can do it" (yet she did not). I mean, lame since we shouldn't have to ask when it's the purpose of the drink. When we asked for the bill, she rang up the drink we sent back 2x. It's so unfortunate that because we had a party of 6, gratuity gets automatically added. (she did not deserve $30 in tip, sorrryyyy).However, the vibes/ambiance were awesome. The speakeasy itself in terms of hidden-ness was great.

Host was amazing! Server and bartender great as well! We were sat infront of the fireplace with skulls which was great ambiance but it was too warm this last Friday. We then sat at the bar. We watched our drink be made and they were so cute! We ordered tacos and the eggplant dish which were both great!The show of lights and smoke was a bit terrifying but funny to laugh about after. The fireplace in the back was one of the best features.

My boyfriend and I came here for Sunday funday! We took an Uber there so didn't have issues with parking, but there are a few parking spots in the lot out front. There is a hostess standing out front to help you and guide you inside. You enter through the kitchen through the freezer door and then you enter into the bar with the cutest tiki decor. Everyone was very friendly and polite and service was great! We came during happy hour from 5-6pm for 50% off select cocktails, shots, wine, and beer! The food was also delicious. This place is definitely worth a try if you're in the area! We also tried their sister speakeasy Captain's Quarters (see review)!Food/drink review:Batida time shots: (5/5) This shot was so delicious!! It's guava and tequila. It was also surprisingly strong. Johnny's Bananas shots: (2.5/5) This came looking fancy with fire, but the flavor wasn't my favorite. It was too banana forward. I wouldn't order this again. Painkiller level 2: (4/5) Not sure why I got a level two. It was very strong lol but I loved the flavor of the drink. It was very tropical! It has rum, lime, pineapple, coconut, and passion fruit. Babes in Boyland: (5/5) This was similar to a mojito but cucumber forward. This was my favorite drink. I drank it so dang fast. Definitely would order again. Lava and ice: (5/5) This is definitely an instagrammable drink, it comes with fire on top and the drink is actually really delicious if you like tequila!Oaxacan dead: (5/5) My boyfriend loved this drink. It's mezcal and definitely smokey (I can't drink it) and also has absinthe in it. He said it was his favorite!Poke bowl: (5/5) This was so refreshing and tasty. It was a great portion as well. Presentation was beautiful. Korean beef short rib tacos: (4/5) The flavor was delicious, the meat was very tender, and the sauce and toppings went perfectly with the dish. I just wish there was more meat on the plate, small portion if you're hungry.

Ambiance is great. Service good. Food just ok. A fun experience for a unique night out.

The food and cocktails are amazing- however service was not, what's good food and cocktails without good service?Our server brought us waters, did not ask for cocktail orders until we asked him if we could order them. Food was ordered at the same time as cocktails, however, food arrived first. Not once did our server come to check on our cocktails, food or if we needed anything in addition to our order. When we ordered our cocktails, someone in the party asked to omit an ingredient since they were allergic. The server seemed bothered by the ask but went to check with the bartender anyway. Upon his return, he said the bartender would not be able to accommodate and verbatim said "the bartender basically told me to f*ck off".... Even if the bartender said that, we as guest do not need to know that. Interesting approach to the situation. Anywho, items that are delicious.- Dan Dan noodles - Hot & Spicy noods- Bulgolgi burrito - Tacos - Fries (they are not fat)- Ramen - Tuna bowlAlso, when we asked for a to go for our ramen the server came out with a deli cup that was wet. We asked if we could get a new one since it didn't seem sanitary and instead he brought the same one but wiped and said it was "new".I wish I could say everything from food service ambiance was amazing but this past visit fell short of expectations.

Loved this time bar! I randomly found the spot and decided to drive to it. Was able to be seated inside, which was so awesome. Our server Jake was very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu. Weren't able to order food because my party arrived near closing time. Relaxed ambience.

Absolutely love this place! The drinks are delicious and strong. The ambiance is fun and electric, while still allowing enough intimacy to make for a great conversation spot. Service was solid and the food was creative and well-executed. Well done!
