Gal who took my order, Eunjin, was very sweet. I was surprised breakfast had already ended at just after 10. I ordered the turkey croissant sandwich which came with chips. Instead of calling me to come get it she brought it to me knowing I had a wheelchair. It was packaged in a good take out box. The croissant was not light and fluffy but it was very tasty anyway. Could taste the buttery flavor along with the ample turkey, butter lettuce, tomato and yummy cranberry. I was able to charge my phone at the counter seating.

On our way home to Dallas in the Phoenix airport, my daughter and I happened across two restaurants side by side. I chose the one on the right and my daughter chose the one on the left. She won by a landslide...LOL.....clean place and a friendly face at the register. After a bad experience at my choice where I couldn't finish the meal. I got in line with my daughter as she ordered chicken tenders. I thought I'd try the meatball sub. Both turned out to be quite good. After a slight mishap where they got the names mixed up on orders, all was made right and each party received the food they ordered. The chicken tenders as advertised and hit the the right taste buds. But if you're at this place I'd hands down say the meatball sub is one of the best I've ever had. How do I measure this? My daughter took the chicken and put it in front of me whilst pirating away my sub. That says it all. It's was $28 or so after tips but not unheard of prices in an airport where rental space is at a premium. The meatball sub will certainly make your day and if you want to take it onboard they have a great container to carry it aboard with you.

Unfortunately I'd have to give this place two stars. And I give it two stars only for the customer service. My daughter ordered a grilled cheese. Not only did it take over 20 min to get it, and that's after asking how it was coming along, but it was not a melted grilled cheese. The guy said he put it on part of the grill that was not working. We sent the grilled cheese back a RO have the cheese melted since she received two slices of cheese and bread half warmed. Well, we got the same thing back, this time the bread was just darker! Please retrain your cook.

Excellent, friendly service but pretty abysmal sandwich. Sickly sweet sandwich spread, puffy and dry croissant, and mass-produced luncheon meat filling. Freshly made potato chips were the best thing on the plate. Not cheap either, but it is the airport. Id search for another option at PHX next time.

Blah, overpriced airport food. Sad meatball sub for which I paid nearly $20. Asked and paid for extra cheese. I needed a microscope to find it. Way too few chairs. Crowded. Disappointing. Not recommended.

Okay I know 2 stars is being generous but my wife liked her BLT. unfortunately I ordered the cheese steak sandwich. I asked for extra cheese and mushrooms.. I paid 54.00 (tip was included) for a steak sandwich and a BLT. My sanwhich was small like not worth the 20+dollars I spent the cheese was cold and it was barely any meat. If you're gonna charge all this money at least produce something semi worth it.

Honestly, this was pretttttyyy solid for airport food. I got the chicken sandwich on a croissant and upgraded to fries for my side.Sadly, the fries were not it. They were just barely on the right side of cooked such that they was a hint of rawness about them and they definitely did not live up to the "crispy" description on the menu. I still ate them because I paid extra for them, but I regretted it!Now for the good stuff. The chicken sandwich was dang tasty. The chicken was moist, the toppings, which I pared down to just roasted tomatoes and arugula plus some pickles for fun, were super flavorful. However, the croissant really carried the team here and took it from pleasant to delectable. I hearby decree that all sandwiches be made on croissants.I also got in line again to grab a cheeky chocolate chip cookie for the flight home and it was just the little pick me up I needed after a long day of travel. At minimum, I can say I was more satisfied with my lunch than the Karl-from-Succession-esque middle-aged business man in a button down who approached the bar seating beside me and, before even sitting down and opening the plastic container, said deadpan to his equally Karl-from-Succession-esque travel partner "this looks terrible" about the salad he'd gotten from the Mexican spot adjacent. Seems like I made the right choice.

Nothing special but I guess that's what I should have expected from airport terminal food. Staff was friendly but that's about it. "Crispy thin fries" were soft, meatball sandwich as seen had one meatball per half on a very soft roll.

This airport restaurant by the well known Mark Tarbell is a gem for any hungry traveler! I must say, Phoenix Sky Harbor has some of the best restaurant choices in its domestic terminals compared to some other airports! This is my first time trying this spot and it won't be my last. It's located in Terminal 4 near Gate C2 post security. I ordered their Philly Cheese sandwich with chips. The sandwich bread was soft and fluffy and the meat was tender. This cheesy sandwich came with homemade chips and they were so crispy and delicious! These are chips that you'd expect from Tarbell's restaurants! Really good stuff! The sandwich with a bottle of water came to $32, but it's airport so the price is expected. It's a small place not one of those huge restaurant with service. You order your food and wait till you're called. Grab a seat while you're waiting, because there aren't that many seats in there.

I was initially drawn to restaurant since we've been to the Camelback location. However, I was disappointed with the Brioche egg sandwich. The bread was flaky and not fresh. The eggs were piled on like cafeteria food. The sausage saved it. The presentation didn't meet the reputation and it tasted just 'ok'. The service was pleasant but you need to look into it if you want to be competitive with the breakfast burritos next door.
