The Good Food Store & Deli

I went here yesterday for the first time. I've been hard pressed to find a decent sandwich anywhere south of Boston. At best I've found mediocre subs from pizza places. I found the place online and the reviews were good. So I placed an online order for pickup. I wasn't sure what to expect as I'd had special requests (there's no custom sandwich option when ordering online). The turkey, cheddar, and honey mustard sandwich was outstanding. (Essentially their "low fat" sandwich minus pickles and add cheese). The ingredients all tasted fresh and good quality, and the honey mustard has a little tang/kick to it. The big chocolate chip cookies by the register are also fantastic.I liked it so much, I went back again today for basically the identical order. It was also really good. This is now my go-to spot for lunch (as I work about a mile away). Inside there are a few tables and chairs, at lunch time you will see people eating in. Most people get their food to go. The prices are good. At first glance you might say $12 ($10.95 before tax) for this? Since the sandwiches are only maybe 6" long. But they are very filling, I'm a big guy and after a sandwich and a cookie I'm stuffed. They do a good bread to meat ratio where I never feel cheated. And as I said, the quality of the ingredients makes them well worth it. I'd gladly step over a box of Subway $5 foot longs to get one of these sandwiches instead. I scarfed my food up and forgot to get a photo. Next time.

Had an amazing lunch today! I can't believe i passed this place for so long.The hot pastrami sandwich was amazing!

I was excited to try a local sandwich spot after reading all the positive reviews. Unfortunately, my meal was less than desired. I got the made-to-order Blackjack Chicken Sandwich and grabbed a container of the pre-made rotini Italian pasta salad. The sandwich had potential, but the chicken cutlet was reheated in a microwave which made the breading very soggy when eating it. I decided to give the pasta salad a try, but it was absolutely soaked in dressing, and I couldn't get myself to eat more than a few bites of it. Very disappointing, as when I went in to order, the atmosphere of the sandwich shop was great - very "Mom and Pop". The woman working the register was very sweet in helping me realize how to order (since there were people spread out all over the store waiting for food and no clear line). Wouldn't order another hot sandwich here, but maybe I will try a cold Italian one in the future.

You couldn't catch me dead in a deli... unless it's Good Food Store! My boyfriend introduced me to this place, and it's a favorite special treat for me. Their salsalito turkey is hands down my favorite, adding American cheese. I've also had the caprese and it was pretty darn good. My boyfriend often gets the corned beef with positive reviews. The blackjack is his go-to favorite. Their bread is delicious!! I'm also a little obsessed with their pasta salad. They updated their cookies so I'm sad they don't have the M&M ones anymore, but the new ones are delicious. Would drive a distance to enjoy this food every once in awhile.

Hands down best sandwich shop around. They make it to order, along with chip selections & drinks its a go to for lunch or to grab a sandwich for the beach or a hike.

My mom used to go after work to get the rolls and cold cuts. I would sometimes go and get a sandwich. This place never disappoints The sandwiches are always great. I have probably tried every sandwich on the make and all are good.

Good place stupid name it's more like an italian deli so the name doesn't really tell you much

I gave this awful service place a HORRIBLE review a few weeks ago....and now they're STALKING me...calling me "KAREN"... seriously folks...don't waste your time...money....or taste buds. I saved their answer to my review....I will gladly post it on ALL of my social media
