This place is build to withstand any turn ups and rug cutting needs. Party on good peopleThere's a pool table which is a win. There's good vibes. Aged wood floors and graffiti adorn the home of Silk and all the good times.

Super fun bar in Pilsen! They constantly have different themes/music for each night so the venue attracts different crowds of people. There is a ton of space for dancing, talking etc. When I went on a saturday, it was free entry for the group! We just got pat down.

I don't know much about the Pilsen food and bev scene, but this place is a fun place to go out with some friends.LOVES:+ The space is split into two parts: the "tavern" side for drinks and pool and chats, and the "events side which has shows and dance vibes.+ Great prices for drinks (eg. $10 paloma or margs to $14 oaxaca old fashioned)+ Lots of seating (Note: this was a Thursday evening but weekends beware)Penny Whistle was a fun time and if given more time, I would have loved to check out other spots in the Pilsen area.

Had a great night here with friends! One of the "Dope After Dark" events was being hosted here. The DJ understood the assignment! Such a great mix of Afro/Caribbean/Latin vibes. The crowd was truly diverse and had great energy. I'm looking forward to going back!

This is a solid neighborhood bar in the heart of Pilsen. A few friends and I met after work for some beers & pool. We were the only ones there for a few hours and it was nice to kick back without being in a crowded place. I'll be back!

Great local bar in pilsen. Drinks are always delicious and bartenders are friendly. Different DJs and music every night on the club/dance side. There's also a calmer, bar side with a Photo Booth and pool table.

I felt disrespected by doorman. He said I couldn't enter with my backpack despite there being books and nothing else in it. I allowed them to check my bag but he said I couldn't enter. Then proceeded to say that checking my bag would require a fee, which sounded like a hustle. Few min later I saw him let a girl in with a backpack. They lost money by allowing this person to run the front door. This would've been my first time entering. Very disappointed:/

This place just recently opened and we decided to go check it out. It has that good old school vibe with a classic bar setting and atmosphere. There's a photo booth you can use to make some memories as well. The booths along the wall have very comfortable seating to use while you enjoy some drinks. There's a pool table if you wanna get your game on a bit. They have a small but simple menu of some appetizer/snack items for you to enjoy along with your drinks. It's very easy to find along blue island Ave. stop by and check it out if you're in the area. The vibe is chill, staff is friendly, and drinks are good.

To start, security wanted to pat me down and then got mad at my girlfriend for waiting for me and watching the guy. He insisted she went inside and she was like "uh no I'm gonna watch my boyfriend" And that's not even the worst part-Then I go to pay for pay for a cocktail and a shot for me and my girlfriend. Bartender takes my card and TWICE tells me it's not going through even though it's dark as hell and he's manually typing in my card info. It's a fuckin debit card. Card "doesn't go through" so he proceeds to take the drinks BACK. My girlfriend is like "are you fucking serious? Here just take my card then". Hers "goes through" and mysteriously 4 days later I get a $26 charge from the bar. Fuck yall. First and last time I ever step foot in that place.
