Overall: A great casual breakfast or lunch option in Sandy Springs, but be prepared to wait. The good: The food and drinks are fantastic. Started with a lavender latte, which I don't typically indulge in, and it did not disappoint. Strong hints of lavendar without being overwhelming, and definitely perked me up. We split a reuben and a chicken club so that we could try multiple things, and since the sandwiches are so large. Tons of flavor, with crispy and crunchy bread that still had that "fresh" feeling to it. The delicatessen meats were delicious and authentic. The fries were also a good addition to share. The not-so-good: The service took a long time throughout the entire experience, from ordering to waiting for our food to waiting for the check. Prices are on the higher end of what you'd expect. No umbrellas for outdoor seating, so you better bring your shades and sunscreen for a hot summer day.Food/drink: 9/10Atmosphere: 8/10Service: 7/10

I really enjoyed my meal at the General Muir but I am going to dock it for price. It felt like everything on the menu was REALLY pricey and like it was good food but didn't need to cost this much. We walked in on a Saturday for 5 and had no issues getting a table which was great. Got some coffees and I opted for the Vietnamese iced coffee which was delish. We also got the pastry basket to start and shared it and all the pastries were just delish!! Over priced at $20+ dollars? Yes but deliciousFor my main I got the bagel with pastrami and cheese and eggs and this was a big bagel and delicious!! And I could say the same thing about the entire menu like it was all good but why did it all cost $15+.... Just felt like a lot Good food and worth a try but I do think there is better brunch elsewhere

Went here for Father's Day brunch. We had ordered take out one other time, but this was the first time eating in the restaurant. Everything we had was delicious. Wife had a sandwich with egg, cheese, and pastrami on everything bagel- it was extremely filling and tasted great. I had poutine with pastrami and was only able to eat about 1/4 of it. It's every bit as insane as you'd imagine it would be and delicious. The latkes are thin and flavorful. Nova is quality you'd expect of higher-end deli. Overall, I was really happy with the food and service. Prices are a little high, but given the location, you shouldn't expect cheap. We will be back!

Had breakfast here and loved the vibe of the location. Clean, crisp and comfortable. Our server was lovely and gave great recommendations. The latkes are a must order! I wanted to love the Deviled Eggs but there was something non-traditional about that that didn't quite match my tastes. Others may love them! The lox bagel with grapefruit may sound strange, but well worth ordering! It was surprisingly delicious.

The General Muir in Sandy Springs is a quaint, yet lively joint. Even for a Wednesday morning, they were decently busy! My server was amazing and checked on me often. I ordered the General and was surprised at how delicious it was! The latkes with sour cream and applesauce knocked it out of the park for me. The crispy pastrami was yummy & I enjoyed my scrambled eggs too. Lastly, the coffee was nice and strong! I haven't been to the other location, but my experience at the Sandy Springs one was excellent. I hope to join the General Muir for dinner sometime soon!

Get the Pastrami and Egg Sandwich. It's the best thing on the menu, by far.I've tried the Double Stack burger and wasn't impressed. I read that it was the best in Atlanta, but I disagree. So I'm sticking to my go-to, which is the Pastrami and Egg Sandwich.

This has been on my places to go! I got the Pastrami and Egg Sandwich, which was a little over toasted on the bread. I also tried their Mimosa, which was strong on the champagne with a splash of orange juice. The menu was pretty small, and so it mainly was sandwiches, pastries, and bagels. If you're interested in these types of food, this maybe the brunch for you. I went there on a Sunday morning, and it pretty busy and well packed, but we were seated right after we stepped in. The place was well decorated, very clean and chic. Our server was super nice and made conversation with us.

I have wanted to visit The General Muir for years, and I finally made it to the Sandy Springs location. It is so cute inside, and they have ample outdoor seating on their patio as well.I went for brunch with my friend on a Sunday around 11. We were seated in five minutes. We ordered two pastries to share: A cheese danish and a brioche knot. Both were so soft and delicious! Maybe the best pastries I've ever had.I ordered a build your own bagel with a plain bagel, plain schmear, and baked salmon salad with tomatoes. It was more food than I thought it would be. I could only eat half. The baked salmon salad was very unique - i've never had anything quite like it!The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our food came out pretty quick. Although our meal came out before the pastries did. The pricing is pretty average for brunch.

We had been going here for 6+ years after seeing them on Diners dive ins and Dives the food was great and the portions were good after the pandemic the portions got smaller and the prices went up it would be hit or miss seems every couple of months they raise their prices after paying 18 and 19 dollars for a breakfast meal and a cup of coffee is $4.25 now I said I had enough I am tired of complaining I would order the smoked hash and sometime the portions were great other times they would put very little pastrami in the meal i don't know if any of the management reads this but you need to get your act together this use to be a great breakfast place
