Love this neighborhood ice cream spot. It's got more than ice cream as they also serve alcohol and charcuterie boards. I had the ice cream sushi and it was adorable and tasty. We've also brought both kids to have their first taste of ice cream here. Such a special place for our family

Ice cream + Wine = Rainbows & Sunshine Not only did I satiate my ice cream craving without having to narrow my choices to one flavor, I got a glass of wine to accompany the array of sorbet. I definitely left the place smiling and in brighter spirits. The staff was kind and patient, made recommendations and were very accommodating with any requests we had. We had a blast enjoying all the different treats the Frosty Barrel had to offer. The fireplace in the middle of the table made the vibes cozy and homey, surrounded by sweets, wine, and good company

Honestly, I'm a sucker for anything that comes as a flight. I love sampling different flavors, and I've never had a hot chocolate flight before, let alone having it paired with an ice cream flight! Super unique ideas. The execution, however, was a little amiss. The ice cream had major freezer burn, and didn't taste all that good. Honestly a pint of something at the grocery store would've probably tasted better. It also didn't exactly pair well with the hot chocolate, like I didn't feel like the flavors necessarily balanced each other. However, the hot chocolate was really good. I particularly loved the s'mores one, and I think if I were to come back I'd get that in a full size. But as a primarily ice cream shop, I think the actual ice cream itself is worth skipping.

We came here on a Saturday afternoon and were served quickly. There weren't many people (probably because of the mediocre weather) but we liked the various types of seating options and also the extensive choices on the menu. We decided to get a Featured Beer Pairing Flight. The owner graciously explained each of the beer and ice cream pairings. It was a fun and delicious experience and we'll definitely be back. The pairings went so well together and we savored each bite. The only thing we weren't sure about was why the points weren't loaded onto our Toast account even though our contact info was entered during purchase.

This is one of the best ice cream places I've ever been to in Washington. Every flavor I've tried has been delicious. I ordered a flight with four scoops: ube, strawberry shortbread, honey lavender, and espresso. Each one was perfectly sweet and flavorful. The flight of four flavors cost $15, which is quite reasonable. Everything was great, and I'll definitely be coming back to try some drinks.

Such a cute shop! Went here after dinner and got a few scoops of ice cream. The vanilla and chocolate were what I got. They had dairy free and vegan options too. Excited to come back and do some flights or a boozy dessert

Homemade ice cream paired with hot cocoa, beer, wine or spirits. What's not to love and what a cool concept! I came for a Yelp Elite event and bought a pint of the Egg Nog Whisky Cake Ice Cream to take home. After I tasted it at The Frosty Barrel, I was hooked. There are so many wonderful ice cream flavors that I will return here with family and friends to try the others. The concept here is that of finding the right pairings of the ice creams with wines and spirits and they were great. They make their own ice cream and use like 22% butterfat which is a lot more than most ice creams out there. This makes the treats expose new flavors when paired with their boozy concoctions.This place is all ages friendly and the inside is cozy with plenty of seating variations and a cool semi circular table surrounding a gas fire. Perfect for Winter nights.Give this place a try!

The ice cream is great and the servers are very welcoming. There is a modern but cozy vibe that makes it great to enjoy ice cream winter or summer.

Maddie, Ely, and Mia greeted us at the door with a smile. They helped us right away and were very sweet. No complaints at all. Will be coming back for sure. It's a family favorite!
