This small neighborhood bakery is pricy and unfortunately very mediocre. I got the "French Toast" and the Raspberry Croissant. The French Toast interested me because I'd never seen something like it at a bakery before. From the way it's presented pre-made, I assumed it was a kind of unique pastry named after its resemblance to the breakfast dish. Turns out I was wrong, and it's just their version of normal French toast. It's served warmed up and with maple syrup, but that's the most positive thing I can say about it. It tasted like a standard slice of brioche, albeit with some powdered sugar added. Definitely nothing like a typical eggy French toast. It was a bit dry and overall fairly average, nothing special. The Raspberry Croissant looked pretty but also very average tasting. It has a bit of raspberry jam on the inside. The quality of the croissant overall seemed like one you might find packaged in bulk in a grocery store. Not bad, but not the quality I would expect and definitely not worth the high price. The inside is nice with a bit of French themed decor and a small amount of seating room.

This place is pretty great for baked goods, I love that they offer to warm everything up and the staff is friendly. With all this said, I would highly NOT recommend getting coffee here if you don't like burnt coffee. I got a cappuccino and I've never tasted anything so burnt in my life, worse than Starbucks. But the pasties? 10/10

Glad I was finally able to come into their cafe location! I always seem them at the Ballard Farmers market. Upon walking in, I found it funny that everyone is facing forward towards where you enter. My husband and I found street parking and wanted to dine in the cafe but it was pretty crowded so we opted for takeout. We came later in the day so not too many options were left. We got half a sourdough loaf and some of their danish looking pastries. All were pretty tasty. Not my favorite bakery in the city, but it's still a solid bakery.

Another tasty experience- a few "pain au chocolate", a couple crookies, and a blueberry tart. All were very fresh and tasty. Only a few hours into the farmers market they obviously had been busy selling items bc it looked like their supply was low.

I bet this place is pretty great when freshly baked in the morning, we went at 3pm and it was alright. My boyfriend got an iced mocha, he said it was too sweet and not much coffee taste. He also got the cookie croissant and I got a raspberry croissant, they look great but they definitely weren't fluffy but that's probably because it had already been baked for hours. The raspberry croissant filling was kind of on the sour side, not sure why, but the cookie croissant filling was yum! Service was friendly, casual vibes to sit down and eat. Overall okay, 3.5 if we did half stars.

The French Guys is a cute bakery located in Capitol Hill. I visited this place during my trip to Seattle for some pastries and coffee before starting my day! We got there around 9AM on a Sunday morning. It was moderately busy and the staff were efficient at taking orders and moving the line along. There was a lot of seating indoors and outdoors. The outdoor seating is partially covered by an awning. The vibe of the inside is cozy and bright. There is also WiFi as well. We got the blueberry crumble, ham and cheese croissant, and the raspberry croissant. The blueberry crumble was by far the best thing we ate. It had a strong blueberry flavor and was not overpowered by sweetness. The ham and cheese croissant was also good and it was served warm. I was really excited about the raspberry croissant because it looks so beautiful and flakey. It had a sharp raspberry taste and even has a raspberry filling in the middle of the croissant. To drink I got the pistachio honey latte. The latte lacked the pistachio flavor but the actual espresso taste was good. This drink nicely complimented the pastries that we got. I would love to come back here some other time to try their other pastries. If you are looking for a cute and cozy place to do some work or grab a great pastry then this is the spot!

Tried the pain au chocolat from here since it seems to be what's getting all the rave. It was good, but nothing super outstanding. When I first had some of it cold it was a bit dry, but heated up later was great. I wouldn't go out of my way for it, but it's a good croissant with plenty of chocolate inside and a soft texture.

There are not many spots in Seattle with true cute, cozy coffee shop interiors like this one.Double decker, warm lighting, and seasonal decorations.I tried the focaccia ($12) and it was piled with cheese, bacon, and mushrooms and was on a beautiful hearty rosemary sourdough. The staff is so nice too :)

The most gorgeous croissants I've ever seen in the Seattle area!!! I got the raspberry croissant and the butter croissant to go because they were super packed that day. The croissants are so so so flakey on the outside and nice and soft on the inside. Absolutely do not skip out on the raspberry filling! It was so airy and smooth with a perfect amount of tartness, 100% would recommend.I'd recommend going a little early on the weekends because I really want to try the almond croissants next time but they were out then. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you are in the Capitol Hill area or just in the mood for croissants!

This is a very French bakery and coffee shop too close by. Their pasties are top notch, great croissants and excellent eclairs. They also have a couple of sandwiches on their baguettes that are very good. They have coffee, espresso drinks of course. There areas to eat inside and out. Service is great and friendly.
