The Flamingo

This was a cute cocktail bar to stop at and spend an hour or two. The drinks are tasty and so cute. The aesthetic is nice and it's a classy place to be! Would definitely recommend as a place to grab drinks with friends.

This is one of those places that you'd probably visit more for the atmosphere than anything else. I came to The Flamingo with a few friends on a Saturday night before heading out to dinner. It was already pretty busy, even around 7pm. There weren't a ton of tables available, but you could certainly order at the bar. I'm not sure what the vibes are like later in the evening, but I did notice they had security, so I'm guessing it gets rowdier later in the night.I didn't get to try any of the food here, but it seemed like a solid spot for drinks. They serve some of their drinks in an inflated flamingo, which seems to be their signature. More than anything else, this seemed like one of those places that people come to take pictures, since there was an interesting ambiance. Having been there once, I don't feel the need to go back.

Came here for drinks after dinner and decided to try their guacamole and chips. Drinks were very sweet and guacamole was mediocre. The vibe of this place was consistent with many of the new youthful spots opening up recently. Lots of pink and foliage (real or fake) sporadically displayed. Music was a remix of a lot of pop music, throw backs, and what you would expect as House music. Staff were decently friendly. Overall, I had a moderate experience but I'm not sure if I have to urge to come again. It did get surprisingly busy by the time we left around 8 pm on a Sunday night.

A wicked campy spot in the North End. The decor sets you back to the times of chandeliers with a flare for punk rock. Bartenders were hip and service was great. Beer a selection was decent. Two really good local IPA's on draft. Didn't eat here so can't comment on that but went here twice in one week because it was a cool joint to hang out in. Definitely be back.

I had a great meal the first time I went. I sampled two appetizers, and shared a main course. Service was also excellent.Second visit was also very good.

Love this place!! My friends and I got here early-ish on a Saturday night (around 6:30pm) and were able to grab a table next to the bar. It only got more crowded from there and by the time we left at around 9pm, it was PACKED. So definitely expect a wait if you're coming here for drinks on a weekend.I ordered the Pink Flamingo drink - initially because I wanted the flamingo floaty - but the drink was actually quite tasty so I kept ordering more! It's on the sweeter end, which I prefer, and was very light and easy to drink. Our waitress was super nice and helpful with recommendations! I asked her for a rubber ducky too (which usually comes with another cocktail) and she immediately brought one over.Before we left, we ended up doing a shotski after we saw the table behind us do one, and it was great! I think we chose the green tea shot (?) - this was actually DELICIOUS. We also ordered some churros, which were hot, sweet, crunchy, and exactly what we needed.Overall, this was such a fun place to have some drinks! Highly recommend.

Fun bar for cocktails and they have games available to play! I'd go back if I was in town!

We came here for drinks prior to going out to dinner and really enjoyed it. There's nothing else like it in the area.Drinks: We got a mojito, a mai tai and a pink flamingo drink (the one that comes with the floatie). They were all great and well made. I also love the detail and aesthetic they bring to each drink. Vibe: South beach Miami vibes. It was a seat yourself situation when we went there so we had seats at the bar. The bartender said they were expanding to an upstairs bar in the coming weeks for more space which will be nice.Food: Didn't try any but definitely will next time. As a Cuban, I had to evaluate their menu, looks good from the menu. Will update when I try. The bartender said the empanadas are homemade in house so that's where I would start. If you are looking for a late night spot in the North End this is one of two that are open late. Although, get there early if you want to get in because I am sure they get packed.

Got charged a "large party fee" for four people, when we got two drinks appetizer and an appetizer? If you're going to up charge you should say that.

THIEVES. They wouldn't let us go upstairs or get a shot-ski at 12:48 because they stopped it all at 12:45?? I thought this was dramatic, but I was not rude about it or anything. However the next day I was really pissed I noticed they added an extra $2 to the tips to every transaction. Thanks so much for stealing guys!!
