The Finch Restaurant in Nashville offers an exceptional dining experience that tantalizes both the palate and the senses. I had the **Wedge Salad** which was a refreshing starter, featuring a crisp baby iceberg, ripe heirloom tomatoes, smoky bacon, and a creamy buttermilk blue cheese dressing. The blue cheese crumbles and fresh chives add the perfect touch, making this salad a delightful beginning to the meal.Moving on to the main course, the **Pork Chop** were a standout. This center-cut pork chop is cooked to perfection and paired with fluffy whipped potatoes. The tobacco onions add a delightful crunch, while the savory whiskey brown sugar sauce elevates the dish with its rich, complex flavors. Both the food and service at The Finch are outstanding. The attentive staff and the expertly crafted dishes make dining here a memorable experience. Whether you're a local or just passing through, The Finch is a must-visit spot in Nashville.

As if we needed another reason to visit the lovely Union Station hotel area - The Finch brings us a beautiful, airy venue with friendly service and menus populated with familiar, comforting options, including Southern classics like cheesy grits, chicken fried steak and their twist on chicken and waffles to Asian-inspired and Mediterranean-influenced apps and familiar entrees with slight twists like sriracha salmon. (This isn't a vegan friendly place - and vegetarians will need to amend items or order from the delicious sides.)The restaurant gives off a casual-but-classy vibe, great for celebrating family milestones, business lunches, and good conversation. Ample (paid) parking on the lower level behind the restaurant allows you to get a few hours discounted parking after dining and then enjoy the Frist art gallery next door. For Nashville natives, it's worth noting that this was written after enjoying brunch on 10/6/24, where there were no recovering bachelorettes in sight. Maybe they haven't discovered it yet. Enjoy while you can. ;-)

Came here for dinner with friends. Really wanted to love it here but sadly it missed the mark. First, to start on a high note the restaurant was beautiful and very aesthetic. To drink, I had the purple rain which was delicious. Our waiter here was great, he was very enthusiastic, nice, and knew the menu well. But, service for our food to come out was incredibly slow. I thought it was funny when you make your reservation it says to be at the table 2 hours maximum, considering it was over 1.5 hours from our reservation time to when we finally got our entrees. For appetizers we had:Volcano rock Shrimp- loved itMeatballs and bread- perfect!Tzatziki and spicy feta- I wasn't a big fan but other people liked it so I think it may have been my personal preference Like I said after this, it was an extremely long wait for our entrees, our waiter said it was some type of issue with the printer getting unplugged. For my entree, I had the fish tacos. They were decent but nothing special and not very flavorful. I have had a lot better. My husband tried to order the prime rib but they ended up being out of it, honestly I think this was a blessing because I don't think he would have enjoyed it from here. He got the french dip sandwich and it was honestly horrible. The meat was so fatty and chewy it was inedible. I thought he was just being dramatic when he said he wasn't going to eat the other half so I figured I would eat it so it wouldn't go to waste. I tried it and I also couldn't eat it. My friend got the royale burger and couldn't finish it because it was so overcooked. My other friend got salad and said the lettuce was too salty and wet. So basically appetizers were a hit and entrees were a miss. They did give me a complimentary champagne and dessert for my birthday which was very nice of them, I had the peanut butter pie and it was delicious. Overall, I wanted to love it here and it's an affordable price point for Nashville, but it was a little disappointing.

I had my birthday dinner here and I loved it! The food was great! The aesthetic is beautiful and our server was so amazing. He was friendly, attentive and helpful. They offer martini flights which are so cute. I loved the appetizer and my entree. I can't wait to come back here for brunch too!

FINCH! What a PRETTY PLACE!This place was a whole vibe and I was really excited to see the beautiful decor. My coworker suggested we have our team dinner here and knew that this would be right up my alley. She nailed it and I will absolutely be coming back, and recommending to others. Our server was super fast, friendly and knowledgeable. She was training another server and they did an awesome job taking care of us. No complaints. Food was pretty fast and VERY flavorful. I can't eat all of the shellfish due to my allergy, but the rest of the table absolutely feasted on the fresh oysters - they said they were incredible. Korean Chicken Bao buns were SO DANG GOOD. Very fresh, nice and crunchy, and a great treat. Tzatziki and spicy feta were the bomb - loved the combo of the crunchy and soft pita, too. I was so stuffed from appetizers that I went with a chicken caesar salad for my entree and it was massive but also SO GOOD. I went with Pinot Noir for my drink with dinner but the rest of my party tried a handful of different cocktails. Everyone was happy but the crowd favorite was the "something in the orange." It's not what I would typically order but I was really glad I tried a sip!Basically, order whatever you want on the menu because it's all delicious. We were all very happy campers!

I suggested The Finch for our date night happy hour, drawn in by the gorgeous pictures and promising menu. It didn't disappoint! Here's what we ordered:- **Early Bird Special (Espresso Martini)**: Yum! Perfectly crafted.- **Rock Shrimp**: Absolutely, yes!- **Szechuan Chili Chicken**: A bit salty, but the pickled peppers balanced it out.- **Salmon Crudo**: Deliciously fresh--loved it!- **Prime Rib**: Good, but not the best I've ever had.- **Salmon**: Wow--this is a must-order.- **Bread Pudding**: I'd pass on this one. It's more like banana bread with ice cream on top.The restaurant is aesthetically pleasing, with a beautifully designed interior. Our server was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive, making the experience even better.Parking is $7 with validation for dinner. The parking lot is just past the restaurant; you can take the stairs or elevator up to The Finch.Happy Hour was a win--$9 drinks and full-size apps for $8 or $9. We'll definitely be back!

Went for brunch in a Sunday with friends. The service was great and the food was good. We got the mini Lamarca bottles for mimosas. Rock shrimp was a great appetizer and my friend ordered oysters and loved them. For my entree I did chicken and waffles with a side of the chef's hash. The waffle was good, chicken wasn't my favorite but still decent (too much breading for me) and the potatoes were good too.

This is a super cute spot in Downtown Nashville with a great happy hour! We stopped by for dinner and drinks before a weeknight show at TPAC, and had zero issues getting a table for three around 5 p.m.Parking is a little tricky if you've never been - you go past the restaurant's entrance and down into the lot below. Bring your ticket with you - as the restaurant validates it for $7 (which is quite inexpensive for the area). The elevator/stairs up to the restaurant from the parking lot are a little rickety, but they still got us where we needed to go.If you can come in for happy hour, I absolutely recommend it. Several of their appetizers are almost 50% off, and their drink specials are great too. We sampled a few apps, including the Szechuan Chicken, the Volcano Shrimp, the Salmon Crudo, and a few oysters from each coast. We also tried the Steak Frites, which wasn't bad for the price. Our favorite bite, however, was not on the happy hour list. The French Onion Soup is a can't-miss dish, regardless of the season. The broth was full of flavor, the baguette was perfectly crispy, and the melted cheese added a little something extra to every slurp of soup. The interior of the restaurant is beautiful and bright - and our server was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. We'll definitely consider stopping by The Finch for happy hour again soon!

My friends and I were here celebrating graduating our masters. Andre was our bartender and he was amazing. He had so many opinions about the food and is an artist with his drinks. I had the steak frites and the steak was amazing! He made us feel like we were the only people at the bar! Tiki was also great talking to us while he was cleaning glasses. Michelle came by and gave us a few recommendations for tomorrow!Definitely on the list next time we come the Nash!!The vibe here is AMAZING!

$7 martinis with the flavors underneath is misleading as they charge you $13 if you just say the flavor you want. Turns out the $7 ones are the same size as the little glasses in the flights. Other than getting misled for drink prices, the food was good and service was good!
