Edit!So I had not the best experience as you can see below. If you read through. However, the ownership of the Roanoke resturant group invited me and Dollie back to one of their resturant. We picked grill on 21. The experiences was wonderful. And the fact that they insured me that across their resturant group they would be doing training on ADA really impressed me. At the end of the day the experience with this resturant group has been very good after our incident. They want to be better and they take ownership for their employees and thier service! If I could leave less stars I would. I went in with my service dog, how is very well trained. I sat at the bar and was questioned by a (bearded) bartender asking for an ID card ( which is not a thing) and told I could not done there if I didn't have one. This is discrimination and disrespect. I informed him of the ADA laws and was made to feel I was uninformed. This young man was rude, and judgmental and flat out illegally questioning me. All to add to this is the shame that I had enjoyed cocktails two nights this week and even mentioned I would be back with my service dog. At the end of the day I will not be back and reporting this young man and his resturant to the Chicago and Illinois state government ADA protection offices.

Went here for a large group dinner on a week day. Service was friendly, food was good and they were able to seat us in a very nice semi-private dining room. Wpuld recommend especially for groups!

Made reservations because thought this place would be crowded on a Saturday night. Turns out we were the only people in the restaurant. The ambiance is really cool and has a cool atmosphere so I was surprised by the lack of attendance. We got the menu and were surprised by the lack of options on the menu. We started with the bang bang shrimp and it was not very good. The breading was off the shrimp tasted more like an orange chicken then bang bang shrimp. My wife got the steak and actually did not like it at all. Surprising because steak is her favorite food. I got the curry seafood and it was delicious and I enjoyed it. The service here was really good and they ended up taking my wives steak off the bill which I thought was really nice. Not sure if we would come back. Cool place and I was hoping for a little better.

I thoroughly enjoyed dining here for Valentine's Day. Our waitress, Josephine, was very accommodating and attentive to our needs. The food was delicious, and I opted for the pink flirtini as my cocktail. We chose the Valentine's Day preset menu and definitely got a bang for our buck. For my main entree, I selected the fisherman platter, which was fantastic. All the dishes were good and tasty, and I'm looking forward to enjoying the leftovers tomorrow where I will add my own flavor to it . The mahi-mahi from the platter, needed a little bit more seasoning. The asparagus was over cooked. Although we encountered some mishaps with our order, such as waiting for utensils and the ribeye not being prepared properly, or getting the wrong side, these issues were promptly resolved. The Beet salad was a favorite for me. For dessert I had the tirimasu which was light and delicious. I love the chic decor and dim lighting. Music floated throughout the place but wasn't over whelming. Again our waitress was amazing and took care of us for our troubles.

It appears this is in the old Steadfast location - which I used to love. Not sure the reason for the change.Came for a quick lunch with a coworker. Server was great. We both ordered just a salad. Was over $30 with tip!!$30 for a salad! Just a salad. And it was super salty. I didn't even finish it. Huge portion but I don't need that large of a salad. Maybe I am the exception. Never ever again. Anyone who says Chicago isn't expensive is crazy.

First off, the food is fine but nothing spectacular. A bit pricey but I expect that by default from any place that is called ~"The Something"~ and located downtown. I took a look at their menu and it seemed pretty neat beyond the usual fare and I didn't know what I was craving. As a personal thing, I'm always wary of these fusion places but I figured why not since I've been to a lot of other places on/off Clark and they're generally good.Okay, my biggest gripe is the service is NOT great. I went on a Saturday night, and the place was dead. Even though I had a reservation (definitely didn't need it), I still waited at the desk for a few minutes before someone even bothered to seat me.Nobody came around to my table so the hostess took my order. Like, there was like 4 other people in the entire place and the service was still slow.Anyway it's one of those hotel-adjacent restaurants and they're always hit or miss.

Had lunch at the Fillmore yesterday. It took a good while for someone to greet us. But once we were seated everything was great. Great service, food was good, and ambiance was nice. It was noon on a Monday and not very crowded at all but I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. Would definitely return.

I hate to that I have to write this. I've NEVER given a 1 star review, but The Fillmore was one of the worst meals I've ever had in my life. I should have known when I walked in at dinner time and the place had one table occupied. I chose to give them the benefit of the doubt because it was the Friday after thanksgiving and maybe people were out of town or still shopping for Black Friday. The second strike was the wall-the dirty dirty wall. Every alarm bell was going off in my head to get the heck out of there but for some reason I didn't listen to my instincts. The third and final strike was the food. We ordered the bang bang shrimp, Brussel sprouts, dumplings, ramen and Nashville hot chicken bao buns. The bang bang shrimp was all breading and the shrimp had a weird texture. The brussel sprouts tasted like they were leftovers reheated. The chicken on the bao buns was inedible (had to be spit out). The ramen soup was nothing special. The only edible dish was the dumplings. As we were paying our $100 bill , another couple walked in and I felt compelled to tell them to walk back out the door. Needless to say I will never be recommending or dining at The Fillmore ever again!
