The Espresso Lab Cafe

I got a mushroom mocha type of drink, I can't remember exactly what it was called but it was delicious and clean.It's a cool little spot with outlets & a flower wall that's good to get a little work done or reading.Everyone there was chill & helpful, definitely pay them a visit

good ceremonial matcha, lots of seating but no bathroom, unfortunate!! I would come back to try the acai and coffee. lots of natural light and tucked away from the main street

Was in San Diego a few weeks ago with my mom for her birthday and walked from our Airbnb to this cafe. We came here twice during our visit, the first time it everything was so delicious, the staff were nice, and we sat outside to enjoy the nice weather. The second time unfortunately the food was not as amazing as the day before. The food was ok the second time and the staff were fine.

Great little coffee shop. I stopped at the post office and was craving a coffee drink and looked up and saw this place. I ordered blueberry pie latte with oat milk ( they just ran out almond milk). The service was great. I was acknowledged immediately. The barista came up to me and told they ran out of almond milk.

This was a new stop for us today visiting OB and what a great surprise. They're dog friendly which is a must but the coffee is the real star here. They make traditional macchiatos and my Cortado was perfection. We tried bagels, the salmon and veggies, both delish, and a fresh croissant just because. So to recap1. Great coffee2. Delish food3. Dog friendly. I think we've found our new go-to coffee when visiting OB.

Small coffee shop with delicious coffee, cute floral wall. I had their spring special: iced blackberry lavender latte - SOOO GOOD! Friendly, quick service.

We are disappointed in the service! We ordered coffee which was small but beautifully presented in a glass cup. At 9:30 they only had one pastry left on a Friday ... which was also good! BUT we ordered a smoothie bowl and it never came we checked on it twice and then she finally made it and never gave it to us. I went back again and she said oh it's over there! Very annoying... 30 minutes later the bowl was average!

I'm a big fan of this place. Definitely one of the best coffee shops in OB. It's very clean and nice inside and decorated with plants and a nice neon sign. It never takes more than a few minutes for your coffee to come out and they always give my dog a treat. My favorite is the iced Hanoi Coffee and I get it whenever I stop by.

I love this place. It's totally not all that close to home, but the perfect excuse to get a coffee and head to the Cliffs. I've had a few funny experiences here. One day I ordered my beverage (Latte) and said not too hot or sweet. I chortled when my hot latte was delivered iced and not too sweet. Now I'm a bit more free-style and figure if you are working at the "Lab", you know what's good. The Staff is nice and I like patronizing a business that knows what's best for me even when I don't lol

yum! I got an iced Americano with sugar-free vanilla syrup and it was delicious and only like four dollars. Very cute millennial vibes in there, not my type of decorations, but I can rock with it if I need to.
