Pretty small venue, but I thought it was super fun! Bar only has a small variety of beer, seltzer, and cider, so don't go in thinking you can get a cocktail. Paid parking out front is about $8 for the night and is parallel parking. There's free parking on the road behind the venue, but I didn't check this out. Because it's so small, you really get to interact with the artists before and after the show which is amazing!

5 stars for The Best Music at one of the best dive bars I ever been to in my life. Saw the Upsahl and King Mala concert here. Both musicians were beyond epic. The place was overcrowded yet we were able to enjoy the music 100%. So I am giving this place 5 stars despite the hard to deny flaws of such a place. Weighing the pros and cons of such a place is very easy. Epic music & wonderful service trump the not so hard to ignore flaws of this place. Parking was easy to find and free. We had to walk a little, yet it was a pleasant small stroll. The CoNS:Limitations in restrooms. The lines for the one bathroom were stretched out yet the bathroom was not so bad. Drinks were pricey. The bartenders took care of me efficiently and instantly. No Diet Coke or diet soda. I opted for an ultra michelob- $7 for a can. I should have selected water instead.

Came here my first night in Nashville to catch Stolen Gin perform. The exterior of the building is not much to look at but wasn't a deterrent as I've been to quite a few divey looking music venues. A gripe I had about this place is that they wouldn't take a credit card for the cover charge. They did have an ATM on site but I had left my debit card back at the hotel after returning with some cash, I was able to get inside. It is a very small place with three different areas. The bar is towards the back of the venue. The bar is a decent size and it wasn't a long wait. They had the usual domestic beers, but also a few craft options. I rolled with the Sweetwater IPA, which was $6. There is an upper level with some seating and than a lower level in front of the stage. I hung out in the upper level for a little while but it became difficult to see through the crowd in front of me. I spent the rest of the night on the lower level. The band was talented and the sound was excellent. I would definitely visit this place again if a band I liked was performing here.

I was a little scared by the pictured initially. My sister and I (20 & 18) were traveling from Ohio for the Peter McPoland concert here, and I was a little nervous coming into it. Once you arrive though, staff is SO friendly and helpful. My sister overheated and everyone was so kind. They do a great job at making sure everyone is safe, especially at a venue that is dominated by teenage girls haha! Only thing was it wad extremely hot! Great great venue!!!

The End is the little grunge/garage under ground typeof place. I enjoy it for that alone. Mostly original music being performed. That makes it great if you're tired of hearing the same songs being pushed throughout Nashville

The last time I visited The End I wasn't a Yelper and was seeing a friend perform for a mostly empty venue. Then came Indie band Frankie Cosmos and the hipsters rejoiced and sold out the show (much to my surprise). I really like this venue. It's dark and dirty, just the way a small Nashville music venue should be for locals who don't want to hear country music. This place is pure rock and roll my friends and they don't give a ----. It was packed and HOT when I was here a few weeks ago for the show. Thank goodness I didn't wear jeans this time. The AC could not keep up and it was August. Woof. Luckily I was too busy rocking out to really care. And I'm obsessed with their grungy purple bathroom for some reason. It just spoke to me and made me very happy. Only reason I'm docking a star is because they are beer and cash only. I appreciate some variety and not everyone likes beer, so that left me a bit disappointed during an otherwise incredible show.

The End is Exit/In's grungier little brother who lives just across the street. But don't underestimate it! The End tends to host more DJ sets and music from heavier metal bands (so don't f* with it). I've been to some really great shows here. It's a perfect place to check out bands you're not familiar with, since the cover is usually really low and sometimes free. Inside is nonsmoking, but there's a generous outside smoking area with tables and chairs too. That side door is perpetually flying open, so some of it does carry inside. The bar is beer and redbull only so there's never a line or a wait for a drink. The parking lot is limited, but street parking is generally easy to find. I live in LA now, and I am so jealous of the amount of free street parking I had when living here. Enjoy it, Nashville!Venues like The End make me so homesick for Nash. Music shows that are so accessible and enjoyable are the hallmark of the city. You really can't beat it.

The End has been a favorite Nashville venue of mine for a long time. Right off Elliston Place, it's sometimes hard to find a parking spot in this busy neighborhood. Be careful not to park at the apartments next to The End because they'll tow you in the blink of an eye. Before the show, be sure to grab a slice at Obie's pizza or enjoy one of the other nearby bars like Hurry Back. The bar at The End has prices that are hard to beat, but beer only-no mixed drinks. With PBRs only costing $2 though, there are no complaints here! Enjoy your drinks at the bar, balcony, or outside on the patio. There are a few stools around, but for the most part expect to stand in this venue. If your feet get tired, the patio is a great place to take a break. The End always features local bands as well as some bigger names. Most recently we went out for Dr. Gangrene's Halloween Hootenanny 14 to kick off our October-long celebration of Halloween! The bands were loud, rowdy, and so much fun. It was a packed house full of weird costumes and candy flying through the air.

Intimate venue. It's small but cozy. Nice workers. Offer alcohol. Super fun venue for a concert. You get to be really close to the artists.
