I think, tastewise, this place is worth the hype. We shared the Chilaquiles with added chorizo and the Churro French Toast. Both tasted amazing and were quite big. Our only complaint was that Chilaquiles could have used a second egg instead of this much potatoes. Also if you are very hungry go early! Take into account the wait time.

This place definitely has a mid-century Palm Springs vibe, from the artwork the flooring to the lighting, the rock walls - - even the colors. It is very bright, light, and airy with a great planter hanging over the bar. We had a reservation for lunch and we're seated immediately. Our server was there immediately to take our order. We ordered the breakfast hash and the chicken club sandwich to split half and half. The breakfast hash was good, with a delicious braised short rib, arugula, brussel sprouts, potatoes, tomatoes, topped with a fried egg. We both enjoyed it. I cannot place my finger on what I was tasting in my chicken club - - perhaps it was cooked in a flavored oil or there was some seasoning that was not for me, but I did not like it at all. I tried a couple of tiny bites, but ended up not eating it. I'm sure it is just me (I can be a little picky), because I saw many people ordering it and they seemed to love it. I will say the fries, which are clearly hand cut and not frozen, were very good. I will also say that some of the breakfast items I saw being delivered to other tables looked absolutely amazing. Perhaps we will go back and I will try the churro French toast.

Ordered lunch to go for 8 people yesterday from the Eleanor. Refreshingly it was one of the first times our entire order was correct. The staff was super friendly and helpful. All of our food was fresh and hot. I would especially recommend the Cuban sandwich - one of the best around. So big I had half for lunch and the rest for dinner. Yummy fries. My staff liked the chicken salad and the BLT. I LOVE what they did with the decor in this restaurant- converting an old laundry mat into a chic not fussy mid century modern diner. Great place.

First time at The Eleanor and I love the vibe and modern feel of the restaurant. This place has been on my list to try for a while. Came on a Sunday at 10pm, definitely a bit of a wait so try to get there a little earlier to beat the late morning crowd. Sat outside on the patio and there were misters on to offset the arizona heat. I ordered the honey cinnamon iced coffee to start and it was delicious; not overly sweet and very smooth. For food I ordered the eggs your way with bacon. Everything was delicious and they gave plenty (for portions). Will be back to explore other options on the menu!

I stumbled upon The Elenor by accident while looking for something light for a Tuesday breakfast at 10:30. Although the area is known for commercial spots like gyms, sports stores, and dated shopping centers, this place is an absolute gem! The building and decor are reminiscent of a bachelorette party dream photo op.Now, onto the food and service. I was seated immediately, and my waiter, Casey R, greeted me promptly with water. I ordered the wild 3-egg mushroom omelette with Gruyère cheese and onions, opting for two egg whites and one whole egg. This balance made the dish perfect for my morning taste buds, as the full version might have been too rich. The side salad, along with the toast and jam, were also delicious. Also, the food and service were PROMPT! Highly recommend!

Came here for brunch while visiting Scottsdale. The place gave off a very retro feel with those Scottsdale and Palm Springs vibes. The brunch prices here were super reasonable, especially coming from the Bay Area. I liked that they had offerings that were more unique, as well as traditional. Picking what to order wasn't easy since so much of the menu sounded good. We ordered the biscuits and gravy and the wild mushroom omelette to share. The B&G was a hit, it was absolutely loaded with sausage and the biscuit was beautifully pillowy. We struggled to finish this since it was such a hefty portion. The wild mushroom omelette on the other hand was a miss. It had hardly any mushrooms and was pretty bland. This was the dish I was most excited about, but sadly a couple of bites was more than enough. Would definitely give this spot another try, but would forgo the omelette unless they added and a nice herby cheese or more flavorful mushrooms to it.

Cute ambiance, friendly staff, fast service and delicious food. I came in with hubby from Cali, found this place on yelp and thought to give it a go. Totally, a place I would come back if I ever back in the Phoenix area.

Stopped by the Eleanor for a late breakfast. Super cute looking breakfast restaurant. Although I ate inside at the counter, there was a good sized wrap around patio with nice shade as well. Service is a bit lax or casual I would say. Not bad but not good. Although it was not busy I waited at the door to be seated for a while. I was finally greeted by a nice young woman and by then I had decided just to sit at the counter and let her know. She remarked, "oh that's good, service is really good there". A female waiter greeted me within a couple minutes but then was busy training someone how to make tea/coffee. I then watched a couple of staff gather and drink water from their insulated water tumblers. Perhaps they need a break area in the back. I also observed the manager and the coffee barista discussing managers coffee order for quite a while. Of course when you are hungry, everything feels longer. Seemed like nice guys, but in general staff was a bit oblivious to customers. Finally I was able to catch my servers eye and order. Hallelujah!I ordered their Avocado toast which had a nice base of tomato jam on a delicious piece of Noble bread. Sliced avocado, which I prefer, so much better than old refrigerated mashed up avocado. And an over easy egg on top. I also got a side of bacon. Bacon was extremely thin. And came out more like a bacon nest, with some parts crisp and other parts not so crisp. It would have been better served more traditionally as this way was crisp and mushy all at once. I would say the avocado toast is definitely worth a trip back.My waiter returned after I was done and dropped the check swiftly and w/o any eye contact or "how was it?", did not clear plates nor give me a chance to order a drink to go, which I was going to do. No explanation was given either about paying the check via online app, but I saw that on the check and did so. Overall I would give this breakfast restaurant a "meh" for this visit and maybe another try if I am in that area again. NOTE: Also they have a selection of alcoholic drinks to have with your breakfast/brunch. I think it would be great if they had some creative non alcoholic drinks as well on the menu. It was still a bit early for me to start drinking. Ha! A lot of other restaurants do this and it seems to go over well. Parking is available in the front and the rear of restaurant.

I came here with some friends on a Monday morning for breakfast and it was the perfect spot! We were able to quickly get seated and got a nice table outside. The service here was great and our food came out quickly. Everything that we ordered was delicious! I ordered the churro french toast which had a Nutella filling and was some of the best I've ever had! My friends also really enjoyed their meals which included chocolate chip pancakes, biscuits and gravy, and a grilled cheese. I'll definitely come back here if I find myself in Scottsdale, AZ again.

This is by far my new favorite brunch spot!! I came in on a Saturday and headed to the open bar seating, the atmosphere was amazing and absolutely loved the interior design. The menu was incredible, there's options for everyone and I had such a hard time picking what to eat because everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious. I ended up getting the Eleanor Benedict, and the iced vanilla sage latte. It was perfect!! I had the chance to meet Anthony, the manager of the restaurant, as he brought my food out to me and he was incredibly kind and hospitable. Every interaction I had with the rest of the staff was also delightful. I can't wait to come back!
